I am no longer in NZ. This GC has apparently disappeared, so time to say good-bye.
Students must have found, no cache! Owner please check and update. Cheers. (Went through every part of garden in and around the L on College and nothing was found)
Off to Nelson with The Seagnoid finding clues to help solve the Museum Heist. Thankfully the storm has past over by the time we reach Nelson with only the odd shower during the day.
Cruise up here to find this one laying in the garden. Snagged and tagged. Cheers.
And theres been a ruby left here to bag from the museum heist.

After chatting to the detective yesterday I came over here to assist in the retrieving the stolen jewels for the big heist that was reported at the Teague-Ulmer Museum recently. It absolutely hosed down on the way over but the day was pretty much okay after that. I had Taybeedragon, my partner in anti-crime, with me and after checking on the camera footage and checking where the fools left their finger prints and foot prints, we are a lot closer to recovering the stones.
Having just found the emerald, and removing emerald from the filter, this is the next closest cache. Hmm. I've been here before. And I am here again. Yes, we all know what that means. But this time it was an easy find, the cache is lying in the open, in the garden, where a gardener is likely to hoover it up as a piece of rubbish. Alas, I could not work out where it is supposed to be, so I returned it to where I found it, lying out in the open. Hey - evidence suggesting where the ruby is in this cache! Our first bit of useful information for the ruby. Nice. Also, glad to get this DNF ticked off. Yay!
This is my first serious geocaching session with the official geocaching app. I am using this rather than my preferred app or my GPS as the inbuilt filters cater to the museum clues. So the only caches that show on the cellphone are ones that hold the clues still yet to find. And as we complete a clue set, I drop that out of the filter. It certainly made retrieving the jewels easy!

Like a previous finder, this was a bit bigger than I thought it would be.
All quiet here, someone doing maintenance on a school vehicle, dead quiet otherwise.
Used the hint, looked back and there it was. TFTC Hoosier Kiwi.
Not much on today, so with my eye on the weather forecast (favourable til nightfall) and a new souvenir challenge released, I decided to front foot it and head over the hill to boost some numbers.
Quite a few solved mysteries in the bank - today I was able to tick off some of those.
But basically the day was dictated by the challenge, and I roamed around with no real plan - just urban park and grabs and short walks, of which I still have a lot to find.
20 for the day, good fun. Left for home when it started to become a chore. A few DNFs as normal, but great to be over the hill again. Thanks all COs.

Bigger than expected, which was a nice surprise. When I saw the hiding place I thought it will be a micro magnet - glad it wasn't.
All good and dry. Found it in the evening, so it was very quite.

Staying for a few days in the Nelson and able to pick off a cache or two. Thanks, Hoosier Kiwi, for placing your cache. All good and safe.

Finding the cache was easy...getting the log out was the hard part as my arm wasn't long enough to reach over and get it out...but I got there. Lol
Over from Melbourne visiting Jay’s family and grabbing the occasional cache on our travels. TFTC.
It was easier to make the find knowing it was actually there this time. TFTC. Find #392
Down in Nelson for a 10 day holiday and one of our annual big treks in the wilderness somewhere in NZ. Found our way here and had no trouble locating despite the high number of muggles around. What on Sunday morning?
We are on a family holiday to Nelson.
This morning was like herding feral cats. The plan for us was to head to Ruby Bay after dropping Son number 2 at Silvan Mt Bike Park to meet up with friends.
Picked up son and found this geocache.

Second Garin cache of the day. I would have found the other one, but a muggle pulled in before I could reach it. Next time maybe!
Found with NZDi during a rainy day visit to Nelson. Today is one of those Dot Days that you hear cachers going on about from time to time and this weekend there is also a souvenir up for grabs for those who log an Earthcache. The Earthcache part of the day necessitated a trip to Nelson as all the earthcaches in Marlborough on my geocaching map have already got a smiley face on them. The trip to Nelson provided an additional bonus in that I didn't have to use one of my rapidly diminishing local caches to fill in the Dot Day.
Having got the information to log the Earthcache back in city central earlier this morning we headed out to this part of the town to do some shopping. In order to prove we weren't logging our earthcache from the comfort of the office at home, we figured we had better proved some documentary evidence of our visit to Nelson so grabbed another couple of caches where we actually signed the logs, and while I could have posted a photo of our parking voucher for the town carpark, this was more fun and would have been even better if it wasn't pi$$ing down.
A cache hidden on school grounds means the middle of the school holidays is a good time to go for it... tick. A weekend in the middle of the school holidays would be a better time to go for it... tick, tick. And a rainy weekend day in the middle of the school holidays would be an even better time to go for it... tick, tick ,tick.
A QEF PnG.

Second find on a Saturday afternoon bike ride. The soccer game going on nearby was sufficiently absorbing for the large number of nearby muggles that my retrieve, sign and return went in-noticed.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Another one ticked off my close to home list. I'm not having much luck writing in them though. Pencil etc provided but paper very wet so wouldn't write on it. TFTC.
Took a lap of the island to find. All good. Cheers.
Found on a long weekend up in Nelson/Marlborough, with family, friends, and caching. Ticks all my boxes!!
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

I stopped off to get this cache while the kids were in school and know one around finally located it .Tftc Hoosier Kiwi
Nice one I have worked in the school for a few years here and there and never knew there was a cache . Cheers The maple syrup girl
Yay finally back in the area outside school hours to find this cache that I couldn't find while it was missing. Thanks for replacing and TFTC
We were at the Aquatic Center with our grand daughters for the afternoon, and thought we should do another geocache with them! This was a fantastic one to do with children! We just directed them in the direction of the compass! The 5 year old was so excited that she was the one who found it, she was quite insistent to sign her own name!! Thanks!
Out cyclocaching around Richmond and Stoke this morning. This was find #8. Was watched by a staff member, I think. Thanks for the cache.
After failing on this one a couple of times, I tried again today. Reread it and saw it had been replaced so maybe I wasn't going mad after all. TFTC
A quick park and grab. A good time to come and get this one. Thanks for the cache.
Could not find the "red blur" travel bug so looks like someone has removed and not logged it.
Thought that the school holidays would be the perfect time to have a look for this one - and it was - nice easy find tftc
The last time I thought of looking for this one I had a police car following me and I thought it prudent not to stop. This time we found the cache easily and no one was around.
Releasing ***[The Red Blur](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=4697204)*** back into the wild.
Thank you for replacing the cache. Very happy to call by on my weekend trip to Nelson. 6 year old Riley was the finder for me. Tftc.
Some ne'er-do-well made off with the original cache. It has now been replaced with a slightly more permanent cache that is easy to locate and a good one for the wee geocachers or geocachers-in-training. Enjoy!
Out on a blustery wet Saturday Nelson afternoon. No luck for me and based on previous logs the cache does not seem to be there any more so didn't spend too much time looking.
backing up from previous searchers, the cache looks like it has gone. I couldn't see it in the few place I looked but after looking at the hint, I could see no place the cache could be.
Was very quiet here on a Friday late afternoon in the school holidays... but that still didn't help me locate this cache.
An eclipse mint tin here would normally be relatively easy to spot - but not for me today.
A CO check would be great.
