Find# 12407It took about ten minutes to find. Sat down for about another ten minutes to work out how to open it lol.Good fun cache gets a favourite point from us. TFTC dinkyfish
What a coincidence of this cache name, we arrived from Malaysia on 7th September, this cache was my 1st target, Only The Beginning coz we are staying at Epping Hazelnut Road but due to busy schedule, me & my geo wife postponed to another time like today 7th October after 2 weeks in Sydney & 12 days in New Zealand, now staying at Cliff Road making it easier to walk over in the evening.Arrived GZ, not much to go on from other geocachers find, just knew it is a bison tube but what a surprised when we found the cache, took us awhile unlocking the mystery & checking uTube, we finally understand how to open the mystery.TFTC to Co, a very nice mystery cache.
Found this cache this evening with Ramakristan as we enjoyed walking looking for caches as well, this one turned very close where we stayed. TFTC to Co, a nice mystery cache.
A new day of few lazy finds with geospouse Graubunden. After celebrating our teenagers 21st birthday lunch. We just had to revisit this cache 4 months later. Finally we got the inner contents unveiled. Can now sign our nametags on the paper log roll. TFTC dinkyfish
My geopartner and I discovered this cache a few months ago. Today I\it was challenging to open, but finally open it. we had enjoyed it. Thank you
Some clever camouflage for this one made it take a while to find, but in hindsight it shouldn't have taken as long as it did. Not sure that kids would have been able to find this one though... but the inner puzzle certainly would have been good for them. First step was pretty straightforward as most others have mentioned, but the second step took a bit longer although we managed to figure it out with a bit of experimentation. While attempting the second step, a roach indeed popped right out, which is thankfully no longer in the container. Clever hide and camouflage, TFTC!
OCW hjckr and theinsteium. Tricky find-spent ages poking around but was eventually able to get ahold of the cache. Challenging to open the cache too! TFTC
Lured here by the FPs. Used a TOTT from my car to grab the cache then we ended up opening it rather quickly as CFTB figured it out without us having to resort to YouTube. Very well done. Out caching with Cherryfromtheblock today after a rainy morning and a bit of a wet start it ended up being a really nice and fruitful caching day.Weirdos spotted: noneSnacks: Tamano sushi seaweed and avocado salad for lunch which was awesome.TFTC
This is definitely the kind of cache I want my name on! Happy to have spent the good 35 minutes it took to find the cache and sign the log! And its the kind of cache you feel proud to have signed your name on! Take a favourite point from me, what an awesome idea!
I can see why its called only the beginning great find and puzzle. Took a while to open. Met a geocacher who was able to give us a clue of the cache whereabouts. Found with Stephw_01 and Aaronw0813. Thanks for an awesome cache
Definitely not a park and grab haha very tricky and even got a hint from a fellow passing geocacher! The puzzle was very tricky but fun!!
Awesome little cache. Very clever placement and awesome puzzle. Lots of fun.bennysmilek + cinty
I found it difficult to find. Its really tricky. We both couldnt open the second part of this cache, so I didnt sign my name yet. Write note today.
Patience enabled us to find the hidden home-crafted cache. Geospouse Graubunden was excited to see a lovely & popular treasure. Could open the first part, however the next step was not possible without breaking it inadvertently if excessive force applied. Messaged CO dinkyfish so they may want to give some TLC. My entry is a write note as we couldnt sign our nametags / handles onto the hidden log. TFTC
Wow i love these types of caches!! Only the 2nd one i have found but can't wait to do more. This was a quick find, but the time came in trying to figure it out. Got there after 10 or so mins and was excited to find a tb, so i took that with me!Tftc
That is a great hide. Nice to be out of the rain while breaking into the cache. Giving fave point. Left a tb for next finder.
Clever field puzzle. Well hidden. Nice to have a shelter from the rain while solving.Tougher to get it back to its secret location than it was to open. Gets another fav.Tftc
Awesome cache!! I would give a favourite point if I could, but I ain't paying for premium at the moment...Took a while to make the find at first! But the second part of the adventure was achieved quicker.TFTC!
Wow - searched for a while and began to think it had been muggled. Then the hint encouraged a renewed search and bingo!: CIH - but now the next problem! Pleased to solve this and sign. Thanks for the very clever and challenging hide.
First ever cache! Afternoon, nice weather, did an excited little jog on the journey. The hints from the activity log should be enough for anyone to narrow things down, even a newbie like me. The second location hint was clever. For anyone worried about height, Im 168 and I could do it no problem. You just need some support, which is already there.Searched in what I thought was the designated area for a while and got my hands super dirty. Was literally about to give up and privately message the owner about it being missing until luck fell right into my hands. Haha! The second part is much easier than the first btw. TFTC!

Found it easily and figured it out after a few minutes of tweaking. So clever. Have another fav point.
Found It!Neat little cache hide. Took a bit of searching to find it and then a bit of patience to get it open!TFTC
not gonna lie that was hard!! clues didn’t make sense to me i just put my hands in places i shouldn’t have AND BAM!! think outside of the box??
Went around 9 pm. Didn’t find it but might of been because it was late at night will come back another time.
Streak day #9
We found another cache at 11:45 Pm, and figured one more couldn’t hurt. I parked up next to the bus stop and we got to work.
I got a lightbulb moment and presumed the cache would be a certain thing. I was convinced, but after checking all possibilities… it wasn’t.
Then I took another approach and found the container. We sat down, and quickly deciphered the box. We opened it, and as soon as we did a cockroach popped out.
Signed the log (which is original since ‘14!). I tried adding a deck of cards but it was just slightly too big.
Thanks for this one, really creative, FP!

This was a really fun cache. We managed to locate the outer container, together with ilook4geo and took it back to the car to work it out. That was not too hard, but in the meantime some muggles had planted themselves on the nearby seat, so we had to wait till someone came to pick them up before the box could be replaced. This is a really good puzzle that gets a favourite point. Thanks go to dinkyfish for the puzzle and hide.
This was a lot of fun. Arrived with goingplaces2, found the box and enjoyed the opening ceremony. Signed the log and replaced as found after some muggles had left. TFTC.
Caching in and around Sydney inbetween two events today trying to get my challenge done for this month.

Looked pretty hard I thought, and even stuck my fingers a few places I probably shouldn't have I will watch and come back another day TFTC
Found reasonably quickly, but it took awhile to get to the cache. These little boxes often confuse me and this was no exception. I got it half open, and was worried I'd damage it. Then something else moved I'm a direction I didn't think it would. Bingo! I had CIH.
Added my moniker and then put everything back the way it should. A well hidden cache and a good field puzzle. Have another FP. T

A quick search revealed the box. The puzzle was amazing! OCW Neurosquid. TFTC!!
Nothing nowhere, maybe muggles, maybe because someone yesterday stated that it needed attention?
?
?
... It was fine around lunchtime yesterday when I replaced it as found
... Good luck

Nothing in/on the shelter, nothing on the pole or the fence. I'm out of ideas

Definitely a great cache to find! Took us a little while and definitely would not have found it in the dark. Well, maybe we might have, who knows?
Favourite given. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

Stopped by this cache for a quick find to keep the streak going as we were short on time and it was the closest cache by the roadside. May not have been the best move...
We parked across the road and wandered over to GZ where we were a little perplexed before Dad managed to make a find, almost by accident, as the kids were ready to head back to the car. Then we realised our mistake.
We retreated back to the car to complete the find. Step 1 was completed fairly quickly, but step two eluded us for some time. The kids were busy poring over youtube clips when Mum excitedly exclaimed AHAH!
Quite a simple solution in the end, but we got distracted by the first step I think.
We signed the log and perused the treasures before returning the cache to its rightful place, all concerns of time limits forgotten in the chase.
Thanks for the fun cache and clever container, even if we are still in the dark as to the hint.

Wow a very fun, well placed cache.
Step 1 of opening the container was figured out quite quickly, step 2 took me a while to figure out!
Good fun. Did at night, so with webs and bugs around it was a little spooky trying to find the thing.
SL, TB Drop.
FP for the hide, exceeded my expectations for an urban!

Well camouflaged for an urban environment, and a great cache container! Thanks for the cache dinkyfish
Super fun to find and open!
Once opened a cockroach crawled out and down my arm! ( we freaked out as expected)

What a cache. It took us a moment or two to work it out. We have inspired a friendly woman to remind her grandson about this wonderful obsession
Found it easily enough but opening it up had chippymick and I scratching our heads for a bit.....and then had a chuckle at how easy it was in the end

Took us 2 attempts but we found it! Kids might need to bring an adult with them. Cool find!
Cleaned a lot of cobwebs away but didn't spot anything. Is it still here? Do you meed to have a child on your shoulders?
It was a wonderful cache to find took 10 min to find and 1 min to crack
(Recommend at least two people one that you can carry unless you are tall

Second time lucky! Spent 15 mins looking this morning and 10 mins this afternoon. Found it lauz_butts and took us only 2 mins to open.
After my first DNF, I came back Easter Sunday with fresh eyes to have another go. This time I was successful! In my attempt to carefully retrieve the cache I dropped it and part of it broke. I then picked it up to fix it, only to drop it again after being greeted by the spider of the house.
So sorry CO!
Sending maintenance message now.
Happy Easter everyone!

Found it! Super cool but didn’t figure out how to open it ahahaha. One of the latches open but couldn’t get the second one open.
I was in the area with BarberBlackSheep so we decided to grab some caches in the area, stopped to find this one and knew the likely spot and found it straight away. We worked together to open it up, very good container! TFTC
This is the first cache I tried to find with the kids but DNF on initial attempt. Came back today with the geohubby and got him to climb up and poke his head around and was able to find it.
And what a treasure it was to find. Love the camouflage, the puzzle-box which hubby partially opened and I solved the second part of. And made a few swaps and happily signed the log.
Thanks for an amazing cache!

Me and moom3 were picking up some caches with high favourite points. And we were not disappointed by this one either. It took a while to actually make the find before retreating to the car for the solve. Moom3 got it open after fiddling with it for about 10 mins. We dropped off a trackable for someone to move on aswell. Thank you
Second cache of the day with mrwhiskers76 on our way back down south. We arrived at GZ and searched around for a short while. Once we had the cache in hand, me made our way back to the car to solve. It took us about ten minutes to solve after staring at it for a minute. It soon showed us its secrets. We signed the log and swapped some swag and then replaced. Thank you for a great cache!
We took the extra long way to get to this cache. A few hours on different transports. It was totally worth it! Only one cache this Sunday, but we probably had more fun than most days. Thanks for the cache!
We spent this wet and cold Sunday morning unknowingly making a very indirect route to this cache. Through Circular Quay, Manly, Chatswood, Epping and then to the cache as if being drawn in.
On arrival at GZ, we did a bit of searching and the cache was revealed. We sheltered from the rain in the bus stop and began deciphering our way in. We jointly unlocked the secrets of the cache and soon had the log in hand. Signed and replaced, we made our way back to the train station and on to Strathfield.
Our only cache for the day, but I had a lot of fun on the journey with Sandysa and with the cache. A favourite point from me!

This was cache #5 today on my walk around the area targeting some of the NSW Geocache of the Month and high FP-% caches. But this one turned out as a DNF. For some reason, my cache blindness exceeded all measures and I managed to find a single cache today. OK, to put it into context: of the previous three non-finds, one was search stopped due to muggles, second one my own lapse in thinking (which I realised only after having left the area), and the third one was a genuine DNF.
Looped around the local bus stop here, attempted to find all sorts of things which might have been added afterwards. But no luck today, not at all. But I'm intrigued to find this, given the cache description and some of the previous logs. Given there are also other caches in the neighbourhood to be redeemed, it's only a matter of time now...
TFTH, Dinkyfish!

My first cache like this - tricky, but achievable.
The hint is a bit left field though .
