This spot has been muggled several times, sadly there are no suitable spots for a more devious hide in the immediate vicinity.
Need to find where I have hidden my stash of nano's, failing that order some new ones! hopefully this wont take me too long
Popped out quickly after dinner to grab a cache in order to qualify for the souvenir only to discover that I had left my pen at home. Will need to stop by tomorrow to sign the log. Took some photos of the view. TFTC
This is the third time that I have made a random stop in Lower Hutt only to find I'm parked right next to a cache. Based on the surroundings I left the GPS in the car and just had a peek in the obvious place and found it straight away. Luckily the car was right there so I could deal with the nano log in relative seclusion. Another nice view from the hilly suburbs of Lower Hutt. TFTC.
Beautiful views indeed. Enjoyed the view on a sunny day while signing the log.

Gorgeous Welly day, so a stunning view indeed. Nice easy find as traffic was intermittent. Tftc.
#2540 On a wet day there was a small gap in the drops as I returned from Wellington.
I bet in a clear day the views from this spot would be remarkable.
The new nano no longer has a fresh log sheet. Plenty of space left though
Thanks for my smilie today.

I decided to stop here and see if I could find this one on my way home from work.
Thank you

A visit to Maungaraki to help my daughter at work, within 500 metres there's a couple of caches. Had to do it. A fabulous view, a pity about the rubbish in the bushes. TFTC
Judging by the comments in the found logs, I think I know what should be here, but it isn't.
Very clever. Note was too tight to extract, would have loved to, but will enjoy the view instead. Thanks.
Great view, cute cache, paper inside needs replacing one space left to write on.
Drive past every day. First time I've thought to check if there were new caches around. TFTC
Enjoyed the magnificent view while finding the cache and completing the formalities. A beautiful day to visit this spot while on my way to collect the pooches from the kennels. TFTC
I didn't get too enthusiastic about attempting this cache when I become aware of it as I prefer to go about my caching unobserved. However, I was constantly reminded about it whenever I looked at my map of unfound caches.
I decided to have a go in the late evening (when I thought traffic would be at a minimum). I was wrong about that and was surprised to see there was more traffic going downhill than uphill.
Finding the cache took less time than I expected and I took the advice of the cache name while I completed formalities, admiring the view in the process. I must remember to bring my camera to locations like this so passers by don't wonder what I am up to.

Reading through past logs, I am glad that summer is almost here as it sounds like it is not a place you would linger in the midst of winter. It was a very pleasant spot to sit to sign the log and take in the panoramic view. Found the cache in an unexpected place so returned in line with the hint. TFTC
I didn't stay for long as it was wet and windy and the usual view was covered in cloud/mist . TFTC.
Cache # 2,664 - a quick find after work today. Had to pause for a few moments, chatting with a muggle coming uphill who used the bench to rest, and then waiting for another to pass by downhill. Absolutely stunning view. Thanks for bringing me here. TNLNSL, and TFTC!
Yes, I did sit there. I was in the area for a little bit of cache maintenance and being such a lovely day, as it was, I decided to grab a few finds as well , great view from here.

4th of the day and unfortunately I didn't sit here today otherwise I would have been drenched. TFTC.
As the early morning looked quite good, I decided to drop by a cache, or two, on the way home from work. This one had the additional benefit of providing a really great view out over the harbour and hutt valley. Spotted the cache even before getting out of the car so it was a quick swoop to collect, but then it was some time spent trying to get the log out with my cold fingers. But at least I had the good view out front and a couple of wax eyes fluttering about to pass the time. Finally managed to extract the log, sign and return. Thanks for the cache and for showing me the view this fine morning.
Mrs Sobad was signing the log before her sister arrived - she had been parking the car in a better spot. As is often the way, it took longer to replace the log than find the cache. But a nice spot to sit while winding paper.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Temporarily disabled untill I get back to Wellington in the next week or two to replace the log
I'd scoped this one on previous geocaching expeditions in this part of the world, but it was never convenient to stop. Today, with Yosser 9 and our canine companions, I scampered across the road for a very quick find. Just as well - it was freezing! Winter is well and truly on its way (brrr). Then it was back in the car and down to Petone for just about the strongest coffee ever! TFTC
PS: the log was nice and snug, so I didn't unroll it fully, but I think it will soon be time for a new one (possibly one space left).

I didn't sit there for long. Gale force winds and cold. I had just run up Belmont Trig too so was sweaty and tired. Still; it was good to grab this sitter on the way passed. TFTC!
Nice view in the dusk, and a good reason for me and the kids to go for a walk. Tftc
Quick find with UlmusLynx on a breezy but fine morning. You really should bring your camera too and overseas visitors the view is great TFTC
Great spot came on a spectacular day so had great views. drive past often but never had the chance to stop til now. Quick easy find not to much traffic thankfully.
Dealing with a dot day. This one nice and handy.
Straightforward find. Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden.
Had to hang on to our hats here today. But a great view and line of sight on the scorched earth that is the Petone Rec at the moment.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

A nice quick find and the views are lovely up here, just a pity about all the rubbish.
