The sign was easy to find and the road works don't hinter access to the underside of the bridge. The footpath is accessible.
No sign of a cache though. The tide was too high but falling to walk around the other side of the pier so I crawled up on top and peered over the other side.
Still the cache eluded me.
Till next time

Had us stumped for a bit with the sign eventually found it. What a great hide kids got a bit muddy but all part of the fun.
Great hide found while raining some one caught a fish while finding the cache tftc
TFTC out with Mickezza didn't know if it was low or high tide but decided to give it a go anyway. Luckily it was low tide. TNLNSL
Tftc, couldnt understand the prepare to stop till we we closer. As it turned out it was low tide so all good. Tnlnsl
Quick find by geokids. They are more sure footed than I am so were quicker going down the rocks than I was. Tftc
First time I arrived here and it was high tide and a fisherman was setting up within 10m. Came back 6 hours later and tide was out and no one about!! Started the search although nothing made any sense until I reached a certain location.... Wow! Cache was then soon found.
thanks Iforr51

The terrain rating for this one needs to be increased from 1.5. It is much higher than that.
There is no way that this can be classified as a terrain 1.5! Fortunately we arrived at close to low tide which made it easier to get to - but still rather treacherous crossing the rocks. Strange place for a sign - but it helped us to locate the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Last time we stopped here it was high tide, lucky a lot lower today, so thought we'd have a look. Confused about the sign reference but as we carefully negotiated the loose rocks to the spot following the instructions, we got it! Not where you'd expect it.
Quick find of the cache safe and sound on a pier though - we were looking for a pear!

Driving home after dinner and the tide was perfect. Such an awesome spot for a hide location. Thankyou! !!
Tftc great spot. Went for a walk with terman8or and the water just happened to be perfect.
Australia here we come, me and my two daughters F.H. (Frida) and Jenny, the first one is a geocaching too and the other one just a muggler
This is the second time for me to Australia, last time was for 28 years ago, and then I visit my pen-pal Chris too
After the first geocache in Australia there where a lot more to log
After a few hours sun baking it was time to go on a walk in the afternoon
For this one it was the right time of the day so we had a look for it
Logged this one with F.H. as usual
Seen this in other places too so this one was a quick find
Thank you for the geocache

It was a wet Saturday and very quiet on the roads so it was a perfect time to find a park very close to this one. It was a cool little walk to the location and I found a few interesting bits of rubbish before actually finding the cache. Thanks for another nice hide Jforr51
Found at 2pm on 28-12-2014.

Taken away for maintenance the container has floated away and will be replaced Saturday before 1.00pm. But log book remains still there in a bag??? Thanks Jforr51
Found some dodgy NSW number plates first, but then found the cache...at the top of the tide too.
Not a bad cache placement either...nice little alcove.
Thanks Jforr51

#797 @ 8:14 AM Merry Cachemas to all. This is my Christmas day cache. Only one today and this is it. ~ TFTC & Merry Cachemas Jforr51
8:14am
It's Christmas.... Merry Christmas. We opened Santa's presents and before the day of family mayhem began we thought we would go and get a relaxing cache. Got to GZ and started the hunt and soon had the cache in hand.

#832 @ 4:08 pm. A quick find on this Christmas Eve with seirra1 and us3scouts. TFTC and Merry Cachemas Jforr51!
Off we went this afternoon to meet SuzySquirrel, and we all made the short journey to GZ. The co-ords were saying in the water but we followed the instructions and easily found the right spot. We signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Jforr51.
Off with us3scouts to catch up with SuzySquirrel and grab a couple of caches. Found ok and signed the log. TFTC
*FTF* @ 1055 on 24/12/14.
So I had just started work and left Buderim for Caloundra and then *BING* NEW PUBLICATION! So I quickly pulled over and with fingers crossed was wishing for the new cache to be further along my journey... 'DARN IT!' it was in that zone where it was not toooooooo far behind you but would still make you just a little late. After quickly reading the cache page I was not sure what to expect and thought that I would just have to let this one go.
I got to Caloundra and started working up there and then someone needed something from Buderim. THAT'S RIGHT BUDERIM, which in the Geocaching world is via Mooloolaba!!!!. 'I'll go, I'll go!' I said perhaps with a little too much excitement. *Confused face* 'So, you want to battle the **** holiday traffic?' was replied. "Wellllllll, someone has to do it and I'm keen for a drive. But, with all this traffic I might take a while, I'll keep you posted!!!!'. Before 'keep you posted' left my lips I think I was at about Currimundi?
The Cache Gods were looking down on me and made the traffic a bliss. Within no time I was in Mooloolaba which we all know is the way you go to get to Buderim. I jumped out of the car and headed to GZ and because I am such an awesome mariner, from looking at a river up Caloundra thought it could be a lowish tide... FAIL. The tide was at its peak and the cache description said that this would prevent me from accessing the cache. Little did this cache page know that it takes quite a bit for me to be prevented from getting a cache.
I looked at the water then looked at my slacks (I was in work attire) then looked back at the water again. 'Hmmm, do I have my good jocks on today?', I thought. I then I looked at the water again 'Nar, she's only knee deep. I'll be apples or is the saying 'pears'?, I thought. Off went the shoes and socks and up rolled the pant legs as high as I could get them. This is quite a strange thing to do for a cache with a T1.5. Just so you guys playing at home can envisage this, it looked kind of like I was wearing a nappy... Who am I kidding, it did!
I then started my way into the water close to GZ which was about mid thigh. Now, anyone that knows me knows we are now at the stage of 50/50 chance of catastrophic failure, so as a safeguard my phones were left at shore. After getting to what was a pretty cool spot, I looked around and thought that there was nowhere for a cache so I started looking into the water to see if it was underwater and still nothing. Then I started to move a few things around and found something, the cache? 'I suppose it's the cache as it had a log', I thought but it might be worth the CO just checking to make sure nothing is missing.
I opened the 'cache' and with my breath held, unfolded the log and was relieved to see that it was fresh. Yes, a FTF was fresh for the picking!
After putting everything back in place, I started the precarious maneuvering back to shore. Which was surprisingly a complete success and now I don't have to explain another Geocaching mishap whilst I am meant to be working. I did have one up my sleeve though 'Dropped my keys in a river somewhere up Caloundra when pulling over to check a tyre'. No one ever bothers questioning why I'm always covered in sticks and spiderwebs anymore so I might have gotten away with it anyway.
It is such a pain to have to go back to work after having a taste of that cool water. I would have just loved to kick around in it for a bit but then again I am meant to be stuck in traffic, remember I'm on my way to Buderim. So I reluctantly untucked my nappy and paced back to the car with shoes in hand.
Thanks for the cache Jforr51. Once again I think a revision of the D/T is due and as I mentioned before I would love to give you a hand with this and the taking of coordinates as I think this one's out a little.

Found @ 1530 hrs
Well what can I say that MinkosDes hasn't covered. I arrived at GZ and I put my GPSr in my pocket and headed under the bridge and simply followed the hint.
I found the log book and pencil in a baggy and signed it. I then spent the next half an hour looking for the cache container?????
Nope all I could find was a log paper & a baggy. I hope the CO starts to find a few caches to give himself an idea on how the game works. Also if he's been good, Santa might bring him a GPSr, which is essential when placing caches.
