Lost its lid so could do with *****maintenance*****. and No i would not want to swim there !Returning north after Dunedin mega and staying a few days in Chch with son so what better way to fill my days is to go Geocaching and today i decided on visiting Wigram. What a huge change since i was last there staying on The Runway with another son- they were the first to move into that new road some 15- 16 years ago i guess it was , Now there is a supermarket , a school , a movie theatre , a retirement village , multi housing , . Wow! Most of the caches were found except for two so the day was successful including the Labs there .
Think this one has been moved as the bus shelter looks new and is currently danced off due to construction.
We are all the way down here in NZ to support our daughter at a sporting competition. And we are making the most of our time to check out the beautiful city of Christchurch and grab some Southern hemisphere caches! QEF at GZ. TFTC
Easy find with ThatDarnBear. The container has lost its lid, with the threaded section having perished and snapped off...---I won tickets to see [Lve](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_(band)) play in Christchurch last time they were in NZ (20+ years ago) but I couldn't make it to the concert (I still have the tickets!)They've come back down under and I'm not letting the opportunity pass me by again! With my work leave and (more importantly) my home leave approved, I flew down last night for the concert tomorrow night. Today I cached my way around Wigram, joining forces with ThatDarnBear for the afternoon. I managed to find caches for the last three missing dates on my Hidden Date calendar, which finally qualifies me for [The 365/366 Challenge - Manawatu](https://coord.info/GC7R80A).All in all, an excellent day.
Etherlord is visiting from Palmerston North so we are out and about hunting down some caches he has on his radar, and stopping for a few extras along the way. Thanks for the cache.
4th Find for today! Thanks TheWanglers For this cache! Found on the 19/03/24@06:15:57 p.m..Last time we came here we couldnt seem to find it but we mustve been really stupid as found it very easy today TFTC-SL#311
**20,413**The swimming hole was not to inviting today. Managed a quick find, and as others have said the cache container has no lid but with waterproof paper it is ok. TFTC
Super quick find, tftc. Perhaps it was not supposed to be there as it was too easy.
Family getaway up to our old stomping ground in Christchurch. Day 6 - Christchurch to Mosgeil. This will be the last one in Christchurch. Collected on the way back from a maintenance visit on one of mine. Easily spotted, but as others have mentioned the container is damaged and the log sheet stays in place because of the plastic bag. Could do with a new container but won't log a needs maintenance as not sure if CO is still active. Thanks for the cache TheWanglers# 3819 30 September 2023 10:42 am
Easy find. Top of cache is open w polystyrene in top to keep from falling out. Not sure if intentional? TFTC
Found whilst visiting from Australia for a hockey tournament. Paper was a bit waxy to write on.
Found with orth71 while on a trip to Christchurch for Trans Tasman Hockey.
At the field and had a quick look and find.
Pen didn't like the wax paper but you are able to make out names and date just.

6 February 2023 09:25 TFTC TheWanglers for placing this cache, number 12324 for me. The only physical cache I had time for this morning, while the lads were running at an Orienteering event nearby!
A nice quick find upon arrival for a walk around the sports complex area.
Container is a little worse for wear but holding up OK for now.

This was my grans first cache who has come all the way up from Milton for a couple days. TFTC
Collected with the Kids on a lap of Nga Puna Wai to grab all the caches in the area.
Although the swimming looked less than desirable, the cache proved to be a much easier find than we had anticipated. No need to go anywhere prickly. TFTC
Yuck Mrs C loves swimming but certainly NOT here. Spent 30 minutes checking spots over and over. Scratched by brambles had enough.
1st cache for today’s bike cache trip. Clever hide. Jammed in a makeshift cap to protect the log.
A quick stop on the way to the Friday session at Te Puna o Waiwhetu/art gallery. Was relieved not to have to get under the bridge as the swimming hole didn't look too attractive. I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to swimming where you wade thru mud first. I have a degree of cheliphobia, unless they're sitting on a plate in bits and smoked. Thanks TheWanglers.
In Christchurch for a couple of days before heading to Hamilton on a wee road trip.
Today's adventure took me along the Cycle Track before going around Ngà Puna Wai Sports Hub and the Canterbury Agricultural Park.
Quick find when in the right spot. Still no lid and dry as TFTC

Walked down to the site and took a quick look but didn't want to spend that much time searching.
