Before we started our walk in North Lawson we had time to look for this one.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A cool bunch of kids at the skate park today love their ol school music jove (Beat It followed by Baby I Love Your Way whilst we were there.) Nice "clothes". TFTC
A nice stroll with family after dinner at Lawson. Found by geo-Soph. Great little hide. Tftc.
Out with the crew and stopped by to make a find at GZ. Lots of muggles about during our visit, but we sent in the geoNieces and geoNephews to play and be a detraction whilst we searched for the cache which was eventually found. With the cache in hand, we all signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache blissbaby.
The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust) & Vanlith The Youngling.

Stopped here after going to the best bakery in the mountains with dad and brother.
Tftc. Great cache and so glad we got here with hardly any skating muggles around.
Staying at frazeydaze's retreat at Blackheath for a couple of weeks and while she does some clearing out etc I'm doing a spot of caching. Today I'm caching around Lawson and Bullaburra and this was the fifth of 13 finds and 2 dnf's. It was a quick find in a little park that I have driven past many times. Lovely camo also.TFTC blissbaby.
Parked in side street, then a short stroll for a quick find. Signed log ad best I could as my pen decided not to work. Replaced as found. TFTF
Heading over the hill, i had time to visit some old stomping grounds. Parked in small access off Hwy, hard to tell that once is was only a two lane road through town. something about turning the shops around to widen the road. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
JABs.

Headed here hoping to get the cache before the predicted heavy rain. Parked and walked to GZ. Since it was sprinkling there wasn't a person in sight so a quick find. Signed log and returned as found. Then headed home just as it started raining. TFTC
On our way through to Megalong Valley. Nice little spot but apart from the skate park appears very underused. Cache OK
Found on a lovely day in the blue mountains. Cache in good condition and a very clever hide. Find #68
An interesting place. Found on our tour of the Blue Mountains. The cache was unclothed but we dressed it again.
TFTC a few young muggles skateboarding and found on the ground, managed to replace it how we thought it should be
Found it exposed and on the ground so hid it again at ground zero. But now the hint isn't helpful! Thanks for the find.
Second find of the day. Compass was wild so used my eyes and there it was. Easy find for once. Not a muggle in sight - cold and cloud must have kept them all indoors. thanks for this cache Blissbaby.
Very cold night tonight, so no muggles in the skate park. Took a little while but finally found what I was looking for by torchlight. Tftc blissbaby.
Quick easy find even though geowife first directed us to the namesake landmark. Tftc
Tftc,
Heading up to Mount Victoria for a lazy few days.
Visited trackables.
Log is full, needs replacing.

Found it on a sunny autumn Friday while travelling up to a weekend in the Blue Mountains. There were a few skate boarders there today but they didn't pay me any attention. TFTC
Found it today, cache had come out of is camo but after signing the log i replaced the camo. TFTC
Ah-hah, so that's what the hint meant! Very clever! I'm thankful this was hidden away from the skatepark, because it was full of kids busting out some moves when we arrived here on Saturday afternoon.
I originally looked for this a while back, but not having the co-ords with me I searched around the lamp of the title. Came back today with the GPSr for an almost instantaneous find, 60 metres from the lamp! Co-ords were spot on.

Found with Shuckypoo, Harry, Jimmy and Kirsty. Pretty easy find... First for today's caching. There were a few muggles, but they didn't even look in our direction! TFTC
Nice short walk to a deserted area and the nice hide was found in the second spot I looked.
Never been into this park before.
TFTC blissbaby
Find 4645 logged from c:geo.

Nice stop on the way to pick up geo nan. Had fun watching a kid doing some tricks at the skate park. Thanks for the cache.
Deserted mid week. Quickly found it (nice hide) before taking in the sun on a nearby bench for a little while before heading on our way. First magpie attack of Spring. The resident magpie here is particularly aggressive towards bike riders - at least it was last year.
A quick find & the last one of the day whilst racking up some numbers before heading further up the mountains for a couple of days to do some extreme caching with Delloro! TFTC!

#395 found on a trip with alnic39 and lachnic62 following the footsteps in time trail that followed the path of George Evans through the mountains. stopped here and walked up the hill to the top where there were a group of people in the skate park. Took a little while to find the container. It didn't help that when I picked up the hide the container fell out but eventually located and put back together. Thanks for the cache
Luckily mine are only kids in skate park and they can't care less I am off treasure hunting well done
Good camouflage. Hint threw macca88 and I off. But once found, hint makes perfect sense
A cache I have driven past too many times already so stopped in early to try and have the place to myself. An easy find in the first place I looked.
Found the right spot, lots of skaters around. Tried my hardest to be inconspicuous but at 120kg and 6'3 its a bit tricky.
With someone else to run interference it would have been found quicker, but not to be today. Soon I hope. Got there in the end.

whoops i posted the wrong log. I always wondered what was up here while traveling up the mountains. I drove my car up the steep driveway, and not surprising the skate park was empty from the rain. An easy find.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Finally out finding a few. First on the list crossed off. Found with azazzlenic. TFTC.
Heading to the canyon event I stopped here for a quick find. The tube was very hard to open.
Thanks
Thanks
An early approach meant we were muggle free and it took geodad to find this one after the rest of the geo family were scratching their heads. TFTC.
Arrived at the general GZ area with rogerw3 and he had CIH before I even had the coordinates showing on the GPSr! As it was, we parked nearly at the cache itself and were lucky that no youngsters were using the nearby skate park.
All was in good order with the hide. Love this type of container. Camo was nicely done but it's always a worry to place a hide so close to a childrens' hangout. But maybe everyone will overlook it, since the camo is very effective . . . at least for muggles.
TNLNSL.
Visited 'Lawson's Lamp' . . . often spotted from the GWH, but never before visited, as far as I can remember.
Thanks very much to blissbaby for another Blue Mountains geocache!

Toriaz, WaywardWoman and I drove up here after finding a new Unknown Cache at Deanei Park in Springwood. There were a few guys with their bikes on the ramps, but the GPS took us beyond them. Toriaz made a quick find when we got to the spot, and then we picked up some pine cones for her winter fire to make some sense of us having walked into the area, just in case the guys were curious. It turned out that they weren't. Thanks
#2837- We had just done the new GOT mystery in Springwood and were on our way to Lawson. Something told me, from a previous log, that it may be a good idea to find this one quickly. We parked Inthe side street and strolled past a few guys at the skate park, who were busy doing acrobatics to their own personal boom box nearby. They took no notice of the three of us until we were heading back to the car. Even then it was just a cursory nod and greeting, no more. I had orinally thought it would be much closer to the lamp in question.
Toriaz had the CIH before I even started looking. Thanks.

This was hidden just fat enough from the skate park, and the lamp, to be found without being spotted.
Thanks for the history.

Fresh from our triumph at the Feast of Crows puzzle cache in Springwood, the 3 of us came up here in search of the new new traditionals. This was the first one we tackled.
I've looked at the skatepark many times as I've driven up the highway, but had no idea the lamp was a Crossings memorial. Geocaching can give you so much extra information on an area .
We passed by a group of boys on bikes, complete with boom box. They paid no attention to us as we walked past, but while at GZ, I noticed one of them looking our way. After making a quick find, bikerbuddy & I gathered up some pine cones. I use them as firelighters in winter. I wouldn't usually pick up green ones like the ones under these pine trees, but it did provide us with a plausible reason for being in the area. The boys called out a greeting as we walked back past them, so I'm glad we had some camo in hand.
Thanks

My daughter (7 years) and I came up this way this morning to get some of BlissBaby's Bullaburra caches. I mentioned to her on the way up that we could have waited until this afternoon when we come to Lawson for my guitar lesson. Oh Well! We picked up two and went home. Upon returning home, I saw these two caches turn up. I was NOT going to head back up. I told Zobo that we would get them before guitar.
I was restless, (school teacher on holidays). I asked Zobo if she wanted to do a multi in Springwood. She suggested we go to Lawson for the two new ones. I explained that WaywardWoman has probably already claimed them - she has a habit of doing that y'know! I looked at the logs and we saw that no one had claimed FTF yet. So off we drove...again.
Although found together, Zobo gets the FTF crown, as it was she who motivated me west to Lawson.
TFTC. "Smalls clothing" ??? I thought we were looking for underwear!

2TF (or 3tf depending on how one counts )
An almost park and grab in the flashes and rumbles of a beginning storm for a cache hide that was a tad obvious ... and though the CO has made mention of the GZ in the cache description I do wonder at its likely longevity. TFTC
