This is why I enjoy Geocaching. A great off leash dog park with a perfect path for the pram!
This is a nice little spot at River Heads and the fur kids had a great time running around the parklands. Cache was located easily. The log book was a little damp. TFTC
Found after a few minutes of searching, I grabbed the TB inside to continue its journey. Very quiet in this park today. Only other resident I saw was a Little Friarbird busy building its nest. Thanks Hunky Dorey!Today is day four of our Hervey Bay holiday. Today I jumped in the warthog and headed to the South-eastern corner of Hervey Bay. Stopping in Wondunna, Booral, Pir'ri reserve and River Heads. After fossicking around the mangroves I headed back north and stopped for a few more on the way home to go fishing. A great, but very warm day out!Heading north on a 5-day trip to Hervey Bay with the family has allowed me to go out and cache the surrounding area. I was able to cram the tredley into the back of the warthog and travel north, stopping a few times. Once to maintain a cache, and another to find a cache. I finally set sights on my destination, Torquay. Over the course of the few days I had, I cycled the new rail trail series of geocaches, did a combined day of shelling and caching Point Vernon, took a drive through Booral and River Heads, travelled to Howard, Torbanlea, Toogoom and Dundowran. On the final day I spot cached as I made my way south, stopping in Walligan, Susan River, Beaver Rock and Owanyilla. I then fought the southbound traffic for a while, then detoured via Yengarie and through Tiaro back to the sunny coast. All things considered, a great holiday and a productive one for geocaching! a MASSIVE thank you to all the COs that I found the caches of along the way!
While camping in the area for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
No matter how much grass Ive moved still no find, better luck next time, not signed C+S
Container was being guarded by a hidden creepie crawlie that made itself known while I was retrieving the container! YIKES! The outer bag has had some water, but inside container is dry.Caching was interrupted by a visit from a gorgeous, very playful, American Staffy and his owner ... "It's ok ... I'm not peeing in here!!!". Signed log. I think I left a little swag ... but can't remember if it was a toy or a bouncy ball. Took a wooden geocoin.TFTC ...
12:37:00 PM. An easy walk with our geo dog and a brief search found the cache. Log signed. Looks like some muggles have signed it as well. All good. Thanks for the cache Hunky Dorey
Spent a good while searching but could not locate this time, will try again another day
Loved this one. Fun find. Was damp inside so we tried to dry it before sealing it up again.
Last cacher missed the mark, it was maintained yesterday and there are no beer bottles or rubbish around Reservation!!
Recommend another visit to our town!
Cheers

We are staying at Maryborough for a short time and to help fill in our days we are exploring using geocaching as our guide. We found all the caches that we had targeted for today bar 1 and even with a PAF we had no luck.
One of hte caches bought us to the home of the CO where we had a lovely chat about all things geocaching and we were also offered a hint for the cache that we had not found. All the caches were in good condition and the log books did not need any attention. A huge thank you to all the CO's for placing these caches for our enjoyment.

Thanks for the cache! Introducing our cousins to geocaching and this was their 1st! Great spot. Took us a little while as our GPS was out by maybe 2m. There was a hand sanitiser in the container that had leaked. Left as we found it as we had no swaps on us. Also, it's not a micro, I would say it's a regular
I am upset that I could not find this cache, I would recommend giving a hint, but thanks you
Two TASSIES still in Hervey Bay. In fact we have extended our stay because we don't want to break camp in forecast wet conditions on Friday. As it turns out, things are still dry at 5pm this afternoon. BUT never mind ........ good caching conditions ! Found a large plastic bag and a nice new looking sistema style container, but absolutely nothing else. Put a small waterproof log sheet in with enough room for 20 signatures, so all Hunky Dorey for now !
Especially love the Camel!! Thanks!! Placed the container back in the bag in its spot.
I have reinstated this cache. Please let me know if there are any other issues!
Thanks
Have fun
Hunky!

I did not find it but there were like pieces of it around like little toys and stuff
One of our group had a list of nonsensical caches to find and this one was on the list. I started to question the need for the cache after a few minutes when small blood sucking things started to appear and the hide hadn't been found. Eventually the cache appeared and we all sighed as the log was found. Thanks Hunky Dorey for your efforts.
Sometimes random things pop up on the list to be found when on a group trip. I’m sure there a logical statistical reason for this one and whatever it is we all benefit.
Took a bit to locate, but eventually increased the range far enough that a container was found. TFTC!
Awesome find, great hiding spot. Loved it. Lot's of treasures for the kids to look at as well.
Day 4, Hervey Bay.
A bit of a late start today, maybe up to late last night.
My haul for today was 20 finds. The breakdown of caches is. 8 traditional, earthcache, letterbox and 2 adventure labs with 10 waypoints.
We also meet up with a friend of mine for couple of hours. We had a good chat.
Good day was had. My son did but of Pokémon so he was happy.
Sorry for the generic log.
Then back to Maryborough for some sleep.

Found it after a while and it is not the size of a micro about the size of a regular tftc
A good couple of metres away from where my phone said. Happily being guarded by a frog
On the walk to GZ we spotted something that looked like the world’s biggest bird nest on the planet. After finding the cache we kept walking for a closer look until we saw baby birds looking down at us and then we ran back to the car because we have become attached to our skulls being in one piece. tftc
We are currently travelling along Queensland’s coast, following along the humpback whales. Of course some target caches were also on the list of must do’s along the way. Thank you very much for placing this cache. It was a great pleasure getting it.

Quick run up to Hervey Bay from Beaudesert & back in 24 hours to see the geokiddies under 8's day. Still managed time to grab a few caches in between the mad rush. This was 14 out of16.
This one took some searching. Accidentally took the long way in, which involved some bush bashing only to find a perfectly suitable concrete path I could've walked in on. Once I reached the GZ I looked and looked and only actually spotted it because the zip lock bag it was sitting in was slightly exposed.
Thanks for the cache **Hunky Dorey**

TFTC Hunky Dorey, Awesome walking path to get a bit of exercise & it leads you to a prize. Found in good condition, log signed & all returned to the hide. All hunky dorey here!
TFTC! I believe I took the longest route, or should I say most scenic route there. Simply stunning to see an area like this.
Made minor mod to co ordinates, but it was a variation of just 2m in my Garmin today.
Don't forget to ensure you put the lid on properly and seal the plastic bag! Thanks.

Caching with Aussiemates. What a lovely area and big park! We had to widen the search and found the cache about 7 metres away. TFTC
TFTC. We are housesitting in Bundaberg and with nothing left in town we need to expand our radius. Today we decided to head out to Hervey Bay and attempt the Bingham Trail series and then find other caches as we headed back to Bundy. WE had a great day in the sunshine for a total of 27 traditional and an Earthcache. We did attempt a couple of others but got muggled out of them out of them. The caches we did find were all relatively straightforward finds.
Out today for our weekly Geo Hunt. Hervey bay today doing the Bingham Trail. Nice easy day although was getting quite hot by the end. Containers and logs all good.
