Due to this going missing a few times now i feel it best to archive it. Thanks for all the great logs.
Like the previous visitor, found what I believe is part of the cache not quite where expected. Have messaged CO with photo.
I'm going to disable this one again, I meant to get out to look in on last week but time was against me.
Found part of what I believe to be the hide. It was night and I was on a schedule. Have sent photo to CO for confirmation that this cache had been disturbed.
Yay, a pseudo FTF. Thanks SSR for replacing this cache. I spent way too long here last time looking for a cache that wasn't here. I here after finding GC5JJEN Xtra, and was very pleased to be able to convert this to a smiley. I liked the hide. THANKS for the hint. Now back to soccer ........
We'll return after soccer to continue.

I had hoped it was just cache blindness but it looks like this needs a visit.
Hope to get out to it this week.

We CAN NOT find this one. Looks like there has been a localised fire at GZ. Would be nice if CO could check this one, especially given the recent DNF logs; whereas the hint, difficulty, and past log clues should assist with a find.
...... (there's more in my log in GC5JC5M, for today's attempt at this series).

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
No specific plan for today but eventually we decided to head out with the bikes to tackle some caches.
A great day not too hot, not too cool. Some of the bike paths were a bit scary with loose rock and so many hills! Is there any flat bits in Tassie [?] [8)] [:o)]
Fun day (yeah I can say that now, but at this point it huff puff why did we bring the bikes? ) and only 1 DNF right at the end of the day.

Did a quick loop today from 12:32 till 13:12, there are no signs of a bushfire anywhere near this cache so will enable this series again.
There were signs of fire near "9 Base Of Tree" but no damage and nothing to worry about.

Due to a vegetation fire I am disabling this cache and all of the series with Waverley park until it is safe for me to visit and confirm the state of these caches.

Lots of trash around here: area would benefit from a CITO!
Found the cache, with an "oh, of course" as we realised the significance of things
The Geokids were concerned that it might be muggled (or the camo at least), but I think it will be fine!

My eye was well and truly in by this stage, but this one had the exchange students I was with stumped for quite a while. In the end I resorted to a game of hot and cold to guide them to the cache container.
A bit trickier this one, and I also noticed I was being watched from a nearby house.

After the DNF I called and confirmed the cache was in place but noticed the coords could be improved. Hope my new reading is better.

At GZ we did find an object that fitted well with the cache name, however, after quite a long search in the area no actual cache / log was found. Not sure if it is missing because we quite often miss even easy ones!
Did a Maintenance walk round this loop today, alls well with this one.
This was the last in the circuit for us and it was a great little hide. Loved this series, only one evaded us but we will be back! Cheers
Yes I can I think maybe muggles may have found GZ as well though. GZ looked like it had been attacked and the cache was just laying on the ground Not sure what shenanigans have gone on here but this one may need a look at. After signing the log I tucked the cache into a log at GZ.
Thanks for the cache stainless-steel-rat

Overlooked this cleverly camouflaged cache at first but quickly figured out what was going on

With a name like this you need determination. Determination was certainly required today as we noted on approach that fence construction was underway nearby. Very nearby. Workmen didn't look like they were off for smoko anytime soon. Grr! Time to pull out the big fibs, lay down layers of cunning subterfuge & sneak in whilst they were clueless to our presence. We think. So one of us made totally ficticious but rather obvious "I'm talking on the phone" actions whilst the other pussyfooted in the undergrowth doing other stuff. Probably fooled noone, but then again did they care what we did? Good thing the hide was ID'd quickly I guess. Another goodie! [Blue]Find # 1928. Thanks for the cache stainless-steel-rat TNLN.[/Blue]
Can I find it? Yes I can!
Had a good idea of what I might be looking for here so was a quick search. Glad there was no one at home in the nearby house as they have a great view of the cache site and I would have had to bypass it otherwise.

This was the one i was after. On my current trip from ACT to Vic, across to Tas i was looking to find a cache starting with 3 so i could complete the "whats in a name" challenge in Ballarat when im there in a few days. With this one located i can complete this

Managed to compete this enjoyable series before the rain on a pleasantly cool morning. Didn't start at the recommended parking spot so did the series in reverse order. Loved the variety of containers and TFTC stainless-steel-rat.
Lovely cool day today, prefect smooth stroll on track with niece, wow good one cache, sign in as no trouble... Thanks.....

On our tour trough Australia we started in Tasmania and found some lovely places .
This tour we found at home and made it today to go tomorrow to the market in Hobart.
A nice walk and the first time there were some hand made caches on the several different caches!!

Neat hide. I thought I'd done enough caching already, but with only two more between where I was and where I was going, I decided to do it! Quick find, thanks SSR.
The GPS had me a about 10m away from where I should have been so spent some time looking around the wrong stumps.

Our last day in Tasmania. Heading south from Launceston to Hobart for our flight, we still managed to stop a few places to sightsee or cache. We arrived in Hobart with quite a bit of time before our flight, and without much else on our list to do, I decided a nice walk through the park for a bunch of caches would be fun. Managed 11 of the 12 without becoming too too late.
Thanks for a fun series - the variety of caches was great and the camo was very good. Enjoyed the ladybugs too!
Here in Tasmania for a week as part of our epic journey through SE Asia, NZ, and Australia.

It was only a couple on months ago that we walked the lower part of this circuit and since then this series of caches has gone in. We started at Lanena Street entrance got a couple out that way then followed the numbers in order from there on.

As we searched a friendly muggle shouted directions over his back fence as we at ground zero. Were we THAT obvious? Sam Carter and I were making good time on the "Walk". TFTC
I think Prionotes realised what we'd be looking for here before I did, and hinted as much to me, but we couldn't find the right thing. Fortunately a muggle from one of the neighbouring houses seems to be (a) aware of this one's existence and (b) friendly to cachers because he called out some helpful advice that led to nicely successful outcome (it turns that Prionotes was actually "less than half" right in his suspicions, but that still should have been enough!) Thanks, stainless-steel-rat.
Thanks SSR for putting out this nice series. We spent the afternoon wandering around Waverley Park collecting these caches. We approached the series in an anticlockwise direction. It was nice to catch up with Mr RedTag along the way. TFTC & TFTS
We dropped the kids with grandparents so we could do the Waverley Walk series. Hats, coats, water and snacks ready and off we set. The weather was a bit all over the place with wind gusts, a sprinkle of rain and the odd burst of sunshine but a nice walking temperature.
After the walk up the hill to this well hidden cache we said 'we CAN find it' and we did. Another clever and interesting idea. TFTC

I took a while at this cache - while I went to the right spot straight away, and came back to it a couple of times, the last finder had covered it up so well that it wasn't at all clear there was anything there.
Eventually found, and rehidden so that the camo is a bit visible.
Thanks.

Hi stainless
Saying "You CAN Find this" to me was rather presumptive; BUT YOU WERE RIGHT!
Enjoyed this find very much.
Sainted and replaced it at 0717hrs.

Beautiful afternoon, a quick and easy find. Thanks stainless-steel-rat for the cache.
Today we came south for a caching expedition and we had arranged to catch up with elcato to attempt this series of caches. We had a very enjoyable time both chatting and caching. Thanks elcato for sharing part of your day with us.
The Waverley Walk series of caches were a great caching experience. Each cache was carefully constructed and thoughtfully hidden. In each instance the coordinates were very accurate and, where given, the hints were very helpful.
As we saw the cache as we approached GZ, this cache was a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks stainless-steel-rat for the cache and the series.

Nice hide easy find with clues TFTC TNLN great day for caching and me log dry very clever hide
I hired a bike to cache around the river trails. When I noticed that I was within 2km of this series, I thought I'd head on up and see if I could find at least a few of the hides. Thankfully the shops at the bottom of the hill were open so I grabbed 2 sports drinks and rode to the suggested starting point. I chained the bike and headed off. Some of the logs had been signed by LBugs (quite appropriate given the container lids!) and Riebot earlier today. A few others were signed by dreapadoir and son (I think). Sadly I saw no one and thankfully saw no reptiles either. I appreciated the great camos and occasionally used the hint. I stopped to take photos and enjoy the view for a few minutes on a couple of occasions. I completed the circuit in 55 minutes which surprised me (pleasantly) since when I had seen the caches on the map before I left home, I'd thought it may be a whole day adventure (no idea of terrains in different parts of Hobart). Although I am travelling with my stamp, stupidly I left it at my hotel, so I signed all logs, including the letterboxes. Thank you very much for showcasing this great region and taking time to create unique hides with camo and of varying sizes. Favourites for 3, 6 & 9 (randomly chosen).
Cache zombified. Easy find but certainly not the first.. where are the other logs? Cache in good order.

Last night we saw that this series had been published and thought about going out as the cricket wasn't going very well. We didn't end up going because it was getting dark and Membsec, Ainstar and scottymyth were already getting them. So today we took the opportunity to get out on this nice day.
This was another quick find that Knight #4 spotted from a short distance away. Thanks for making a clever series that was well thought out and in a circular route which made it easy.

Headed out early this morning to locate the 12 newly published caches. It was a pleasant walk which we started by parking in Aruma Street and headed up to the water tank. We have hid many moveables in this park over the last few years, so nice to come back and find well constructed, well cammoed, and sometimes sneaky caches. Thanks stainless-steel-rat for the time and effort put in. Deserves a favourite
FTF at 8:22pm with membsec, AINSTAR and geokids (ImmyMoo, Xman02) after a family New Year's Eve BBQ. A mad dash to the cars and off we go. Luckily we finished tea. TFTC!
