Love the camo, very sneaky We thought we might have trouble with this one, since it looks like there was a fire here not too long ago, but it was there and in good condition. Not a great spot to stop for lunch though, so we'll have to keep looking for that one. Thanks stainless-steel-rat!
At he risk of making a spectacle of my self, my first find using the new cachemobile. TFTC
Cache was indeed burnt in a recent bushfire, thanks to gabyandkatie for pointing it out, just sorry I was so slow in replacing it.
Sorry i completely forgot about this one, I do my best to look at it this weekend.
Appeared to be burnt in bush fire in the area
Found melted plastic and paper at base of tree

took longer than it should have but it was worth it to meet Clancy the groodle on track. cheers!
With my GPS in hand and my sungles on
I set out to find a cache , it's the time to be gone️
I follow the clues, and the map's lead️
And the sungles protect my eyes from the sun's gleed
As I finally find the cache, I can't help but sing a song

Well, looky here. This cache is also on my way back to the cachemobile. Just off the track and it shouldn't take me too long to find it - and it didn't.
Thanks for the cache SSR!

Headed off to Waverley Flora Park with Newy07 to do some much needed geocaching. Unfortunately we had to rush our preparations and arrived at the park without planning our route. But we managed to find a few of the Waverley Walk caches, including this one!
Found at 15:52 hrs. A nice walk.
TFTC stainless-steel-rat!
Cheers

Got sprung by some muggles but we covered up well. Tried to leave a treasure then the nearly four year old spotted it
Container is full of water and needs replacing, log book is quite damp and also needs replacing.
GPS jumping around but a relatively quick find just off track. Really enjoying our walk. Thanks for bringing us to the park! TFTC
After passing a couple of men who asked directions and said they had come from Wentworth Park (we are still trying to figure out their route from there??) we continued around the track to detour a bit for the next couple of caches.
I'm pretty happy that its not too hot today. I'm somewhat phobic about those horrible slithery things and this park, I'm sure (in my over active mind), will be covered in them in the height of summer...
Thanks for the cache SSR. The contents are pretty sodden, but the log is fine.

Wasn’t hard but u should REALLY change what’s inside because it’s all drenched in water. TFTC
While out and about today we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them. We made the trek up the hill and round in an anti-clock wise direction on a cool mild day with a few dog walking muggles.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This one was a quite soggy, but the only other wet weather victim found thus far today. Apart from myself I guess!
Out for good walk somewhere new with gridge98 for some more geocaching. A great way to pass the time whilst waiting for a plane ?? TFTC Log was a bit wet, able to sign. Thongs are not appropriate footwear for caching!!!
After visiting Mona for a few hours, we still had an hour or so to kill before heading to the airport to fly back to Adelaide. Nettieknows and I decided to go for a nice walk around this area to collect a few caches. A nice walk and an area I have been to before for a few others. All the caches were found in good order some were trickier than others.
Thanks for a good series

Quick find here. Some nearby art that looks a lot like an owl that I drew a couple of years ago. Loved checking out this area. The bush. The art. The views. Wellington looks amazing from here!
One of several caches found this afternoon exploring this interesting area. TFTC!

A bit further off the track than we first thought. But found it. Forgot to bring signing implement...
Left a treat

Mrs Woodyrothwell and I like to take a photo of ourselves near each cache so we can remember what was going on at the time. It’s known as a phlog (photo log) and is the best way to identify each cache on a run.
One thing I learnt today is that no lady wants to be photographed from “below”. It didn’t make any sense to me and so I asked “why?”. I thought that maybe it was an optical illusion that made boobs longer and appear closer to the ground but it wasn’t that at all. I figured out that what most people call a chin, most ladies call a double-chin. It’s no wonder that ladies face cream costs twice as much as the male equivalent. tftc

Today was our last day in Hobart before flying back to Adelaide. It’s been a shame that I’ve had such a hideous cold for the entire trip but we have still managed to find a few caches each day. We’ve been super lucky with the weather which has made all the walking more fun enjoyable.
Our muggle friend collected us from our Airbnb and then we borrowed his hound and headed out to complete this series. Mainly so we could collect another LGA and also due to all the letterboxes plus it was close to where the muggle friend lives in Lindisfarne.
The surrogate hound loved his walk although I think she was wondering why we stopped so often! We missed out 12 and 13 on the loop.
Another quick find here TFTC stainless steel rat

Found during my holidays in Australia. Before leaving Tasmania, I went out for a bit geocaching. So this nice round of caches fitted perfectly on my way to the airport.
Thanks for the hide.

Hi stainless-steel rat this was a nice easy find thank goodness after the disappointment of 4 and the long find at 5, 6 was just what I needed. Easy find in a cool container, log is a little wet so my log may have smudged. TFTC!
