Spontanious decission to come up here and have a look for some caches after visiting an elderly friend in the area. Couldn't find some as didn't have the necessary tools.Very exposed cache but no one around today.
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 35/74, Sunday. My mini-holiday to Tasmania! Just four days but better than nothing. Today I spent the whole day in Hobart and nearby areas. I did not end up with many finds today, well some lab caches and some "real caches" here and there. I mainly just hung around. Another quick find from here. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Going for a wander with a client today, collecting caches. The hint made this one a quick find, and all good at GZ TFTC

What an interesting spot! Sis thought she was way off with the map at first (wouldn't be the first time), but after looking around Father was able to locate the container. Unfortunately, there was no stamp here, but still and very nice cache. Thanks stainless-steel-rat!
Tftc, was a rather easy find. Found with lichen, ski, cookie and addison.

A nice way to round it off, I thought the GPS looked strange when I got close, but the title made sense and the cache was found safe and sound! TFTC )
Out caching with BG65.
We had done most of the caches in this series with just 2 available caches to go.
This one took us a little while to find as we were both looking in the wrong places to start with.
I eventually found it right where it is supposed to be.
Thanks for the cache SSR!

Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip
Day Six: Hobart Area and a flight home.
Weather: deteriorating, but I’ve had a lucky run on this trip.
This is one of five letterbox caches found with the Waverley Flora Reserve, a great spot that I haven’t been to before on the east side of the Derwent River. Great views from this elevated perch! I’m wondering if there are snakes in here; probably best that I don’t know.
Stamp missing here if I remember rightly.
Thanks for bringing me here and for these letterbox caches stainless-steel-rat.

Headed off to Waverley Flora Park with Newy07 to do some much needed geocaching. Unfortunately we had to rush our preparations and arrived at the park without planning our route. But we managed to find a few of the Waverley Walk letterbox series, including this one. A nice walk.

Find #12930
In Tassie for a few days with beckNmonts and Earthbound Chief. Have been having a ball and continued along our merry way with some fun cache finds.
Day 3 was about challenge caches and picking up some of our solved puzzles.
Today was a bit of a tougher day with some difficult climbs up some mean hills. Found lots of great caches with full size log books and even managed to see a rainbow over the harbour.
Massive thanks go to stainless-steel-rat for placing this one.
Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2022?*

We have realised that we have nowhere near enough time to find all the puzzles we have solved for this trip. So what will we do? Focus on mainly challenge caches that required no solving! What did ahomburg, Earthbound Chief, The Morris, myself and nominally Mazda StarBounceSky, the Standard Poodle, spend all those hours solving for? I suspect it’s because we are strange and enjoy it (seriously, thank you for placing them CO’s).
Earthbound Chief, ahomburg, Mazda and myself started the day at our now “regular” breakfast spot, to caffeinate for the day, then headed off again with our gratefully borrowed fishing pole and ladder! (Please hit us up in Vic, I’m happy to return the favour)

Today we found 10 Out In The Open, Waverley Walk on our travels. We are on a lightening fast visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting!
Thanks stainless-steel-rat for being part of our geocaching fun.

Another cool cache! Very nice cammo on this cache unfortunately we have somewhere to be so won’t be able to complete the whole trail! But if we get a chance we will certainly be back!
Thanks for the find cache is in good condition

Should give a bit more background info. We’re having a browse at the bouldering which is apparently here a cording to my partner and taking a very… scenic route to it. Keen to do some outdoor bouldering
Well after finding number 11 it appears i'm doing this series backwards but oh well they're equalling yellow smilies nonetheless. This one certainly was out in the open but having a dog is quite helpful as you can always pretend you're just picking up they're landmines luckily no muggles on this day. Soon enough the cache was signed and returned to it's place
The second cache for the day with tassietan.
It was great out in the open with lots of gorgeous wildflowers out. A few other people were out and about enjoying the day and the flowers, and it was the perfect ruse for us to be scrummaging around looking for caches.
Thanks SSR.

Out on a caching day with RoadieM today, while the partners are busy at golf. I have previously done some of the caches here in summer - so much nicer today as it is looking lush and green. Getting a much better sense of why it is called Waverley Flora Park - the wildflowers are stunning! Quite a few people wandering about looking at the wildflowers too, but luckily we got this one just before a few muggles wandered by. Cache was well hidden out in the open. Thanks SSR.
TFTC another find on our rainy walk - sadly I am out of coffee and geo kid is getting over excited at least we seem to have the park to ourselves with the rain keeping most away. We are not exactly stealth cache hunters ️
While out and about today we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
Mrs "T" parked at the bottom the these letter box caches and walked up the hill to collect the last 3 caches in the series, a quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks stainless-steel-rat for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

The same muggle searching for wild orchids who we bumped into earlier was very close to GZ when we arrived. She told us we were in the wrong place and needed to head down towards the houses to see the wild orchids. She just didn't get that we were in the area searching for other stuff! As it was, we came across several wild orchids later in the afternoon! TFTC!

A little hike for Hevic and I this morning led to us finding a whole bunch of letterbox hybrids - I won't sniff at that at all. We struggled with this one, suspecting it may have become victim to any number of potential geocache predators. However, we persevered and ended up finding it in a spot we didn't suspect. It's a bold strategy for sure. Cheers!
Found with CJ-Curry - nearly gave up as the area is so open I thought it couldn't possibly be here!
It was such a shame that our walk out here had to come to an end today. There were just enough hills to get our fitness on and even better that Mrs Woodyrothwell had her fitness tracker on and working.
We had one DNF which will haunt us for a while but seeing we have re-prioritised our next holiday for a return trip to Tasmania I hope to be back to avenge that sooner than later.
This trail was a great walk and a great way to start the day. tftc

Today was our last day in Hobart before flying back to Adelaide. It’s been a shame that I’ve had such a hideous cold for the entire trip but we have still managed to find a few caches each day. We’ve been super lucky with the weather which has made all the walking more fun enjoyable.
Our muggle friend collected us from our Airbnb and then we borrowed his hound and headed out to complete this series. Mainly so we could collect another LGA and also due to all the letterboxes plus it was close to where the muggle friend lives in Lindisfarne.
The surrogate hound loved his walk although I think she was wondering why we stopped so often! We missed out 12 and 13 on the loop.
A bit of head scratching out in the open but soon had CIH. TFTC stainless steel rat

Found during my holidays in Australia. Before leaving Tasmania, I went out for a bit geocaching. So this nice round of caches fitted perfectly on my way to the airport.
Thanks for the hide.

I searched for this cache to get the last jewel I need for the Mystery at the Museum challenge and this cache didn't disappoint! Well camouflaged, I doubt a Muggle would spot it with their naked eye. I rode the GeoPeddley all the way up to the park and I'm looking forward to the fast trip back down the hill. Once I tackle Rosny Hill and the Tasman Bridge to get home, I'll enjoy sitting down in my comfy room with a nice drink to crack the safe to return the jewels. Overall, a great day for geocaching. TNLN TFTC!
Mrs PC and I along with the Geo Pup headed out this afternoon for a walk around Waverley Park and thanks to stainless-steel-rat we enjoyed ourselves with five finds and only one DNF. The arvo was quite mild and easy walking although the pup is still learning to walk consistently without pulling my shoulder out lol. This cache for the Porkchop would have taken me a while but Mrs PC unearthed the little blighter in a flash well done, thanks ssr.
On our tour trough Tassie we want to catch some caches. We saw that this series had some FAV points. So we come and made them.
After a short searching we could find the cache.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

After beginning with a CITO event at Bellerive Beach, which was a nice opportunity to meet dome local cachers, I spent the remainder of the day travelling around the eastern shore and down the Tasman Peninsula picking up a few caches I had targeted.
I’ve been lucky with the weather, with another fine and warm day. And I’ve enjoyed some great caches, including some pre-solved puzzles, multicaches, a letterbox, a virtual snd some traditionals.
I was up here yesterday to do these letterbox caches, but somehow missed noticing this one until I got back and began logging them. So it was back up here again today to finish the job!
Thanks stainless-steel-rat for the cache.

We had a little bit of spare time this morning, and thought we'd make our way to Waverley Flora Park - it's a place that we've been curious about for a while (we've been past many times), but never actually taken the time to pay a visit.
In the end, we only had time to find two caches, but that's not a bad thing - the area is beautiful, and we're looking forward to coming back to find more!
We had no trouble finding either cache, and thoroughly enjoyed our (brief) journey through this wonderful place! Thanks for finally bringing us here!

Out and about with the lovely Lady membsec creating a few new smileys.
It was hot hot hot! LadyM had found these before but came along to keep me company.
This was a tricky one, not where you expect.

I love Brazen hides like these, they can sometimes be very deceptive [:o]
This one was tricky but found quickly enough and it's fresh new log sheet was signed at 12:36 on Thu 3 January 2019 in full sunny conditions... out in the open

Same as previous searchers, we couldn't find it. Nevermind, thanks anyway. DNFs are a good reason to come back one day. We live over 500kms away but I'd gladly come back!!
Unfortunately couldn`t find it. It looks like there has been some clearing of trees in the area.
Both TaurusSix and I looked. We found a pile of sticks that looks like kids have scoured the area for and piled ready for a bonfire.
In the afternoon before the sunset i was hiking this trail. The area is a nice one!
Finally iam not happy about all caches. The most of them was good to find and in good condition. But i mist five of them. Sure, i havnt found one or two, but three of them are definitely gone.
Definitly gone

Greetings from Seattle. Beautiful afternoon for geocaching! Strangely, my GPS jumped around more for this than any other in the preserve, yet this was the most exposed.
