If I had read all of the DNFs on activity, I may not have come to this cache! However i found the cache pretty quickly and signed as MM10. Paper was a bit damp but I was able to write on it. Findnumber 278 for me and 7th today! TFTC
Cache has not been found since April 2023 - 4 DNFs area is quite overgrown so unlikely cache still remains
No luck today, had a bit of a poke around but seems quite overgrown with vines and branches/trees down. Seems like a teen hang spot - quite a bit of rubbish about
The area might not have been as salubrious as it once was although there are plenty of second hand bongs for the hoarders. We gave it 15 minutes before moving on
Didn't find the cache - a hint would be helpful but at least we cleaned a bit after some local teenagers
Secret7(P) I found your cache The Silver Chair on 9/2/2023, 2:05 pm. This is my find 4731 and find # 4 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Took 6.5 years but I finally found it. Easy this time so I don't know what happened back then. Thanks Secret7(P).
#117 I nearly didn't find this one but had one last check and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC. It definitely brightened up a bland after-work evening. Definitely remember to bring mozzie repellent those suckers were savage!
Wow took me 2 seconds to find nice and easy not sure what the john Mellencamp had to do with it though tftc
Out for a drive in the hinterland today.
Very picturesque area, certainly will need to return and explore some more

We looked up the song, being the uncultured people we are. However, we discovered that the cache wasn’t hidden in accordance with it anyway. We had come in the wrong way and bush bashed through until we spotted the silver chair and then took the easy trail back out to the road. Thanks Secret7(P)
Up on the Sunshine Coast today to clean up some more cache. I am working on another challenge cache.
I had a FTF my list and a few others. Today haul was 16 physical caches and 5 waypoints so 21 finds. So the breakdown is 14 traditional, 2 mystery and a adventure labs with 5 waypoints.
Had lots of fun today caching.

Third try. Almost 10 months no logs. Wonder whether previous finder or CO can check.

So cool to turn another dnf into a smiley. Small wombat and I and muggle sister make a great team. Tftc
This was quite amusing, as with phone tucked away i just followed the geotrail to the cache title.
Then i widened my search, and almost immediately came across it. huzzah!
mum (sunshine58) looked for this four years back with no success, so was glad to turn this frown upside down.
Reading logs now, i realise just how lucky we were.
Thanks for showing us this strange thing with a geocache!

Cache container has been replaced. Exact same location and exact same type of container. The other one had disappeared. Happy hunting!
I had quite a hunt for this one, taking note of the hint and extending my search. In the end the coords led me to dig up the old log book out of the leaf litter in somewhat less than great condition. I took photos of the log, and began hunting for the container referred to in the hint. No container to be found, so for the time being I sourced a temporary container (an eclipse tin) from the car and placed the old log into it. All was hidden back at gz and covered with camo. Tftc Secret7(P)
Found the chair and it all ended there!!
Looked high and low and tried to decipher the hints but you were too crafty for us Secret7(P)

We have given this a red hot go, a couple of times with a few people in tow but can’t make the find
No luck today with Mrs Grundies waiting in the car impatiently to get back to camp. Looked for a while but clue didn’t make that much sense. all I manage to find were several discarded bongs.
Wow that took a while log signed after removing the ants nest inside it. We used a bit of Cougar to help us find it. Well hidden. TFTF
FINALLY - third time lucky!! We knew what the word in the clue was supposed to be but our interpretation of it was not correct. After our second time coming up with no cache we contacted the CO for a clue. Even with the clue we spent a fair amount of time looking as the area is really overgrown compared to the last time we were here which was not too long ago. But we are happy not to have this on our "to do" list any longer, yay!
We have set up camp at the Dunethin Rock Scout Camp.
Todays trip was to Yandina, Nambour, Palmwood & return
Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.
After all the DNFs here & this being an unloved cache, we are happy to have added our name to this log book.
The hints helped with the find.

The geocache is definitely still there. Just requires lots of searching.
I will replace the log within the next week

I couldn't make sense of the hint, so I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I checked a few spots before calling it a day.
Another fine example of tax dollars hard(ly) at work. A random bench in the bush that serves nothing more than to provide a haven for drug-pushers and other undesirables (and the odd geocacher ). After 20 minutes of wandering, scratching and digging around, a familiar object peeked out at me. Sure enough, it was what I was looking for. Thanks for a great hide Secret7 (P).
After the recent heavy rains from ex-TC Debbie shelved my plans for a trip South due to extensive flooding, a visit to the hinterland seemed a better option. Today's trip took me through Landsborough, Moololah Valley, Woombye, Eudlo, Palmwoods and points in between picking up solved puzzles and a variety of other caches.
Who would have thought this chair would be here! No snakes today thank goodness. Thanks **Secret7(P)** for bringing us here, this find makes #3521. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Dnf. Only 8m away and photo in activity had me packing up and outa there. Very disappointed.
I finally found it and not at all where I expected to. That's what happens when you make assumptions. I was about to head off when my GPSr suggested a new area to search and success came soon after. I do doubt the wisdom of having a cache here - judging by the debris, activities are going on here that I wouldn't be wanting to expose children to, or myself for that matter considering what I searched through. I wonder whether this is why the chair is here, haha, that would be some forward planning all right. TFTH Secret7(P).
What a random spot for a chair. Had a good look but no find today. There had been a lot of muggle activity so will wait until somebody logs a find before another attempt.

A weekend engagement coming up in Nambour, so come a day earlier and go geocaching around Palmwoods. Yea! Sixteen caches visited this afternoon!
Well, who would have guessed that there is a seat here on a concrete pad. I wonder why? But a good excuse for a cache and its name! [:o)]
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 3.10pm on 26th August 2016. TFTC

1253hrs. After doing another nearby cache the better half decided we should have ago at this one as it hadn't been found in a while. We found the chair and all the bongs and then moved on to GZ. We started a search and seemed to be going in circles. Once the GPS settled down the better half made the find where she had looked earlier. Glad to sign the log on this one. Co-ords are good giving the GPS time. Thanks Secret7(P) for the cache.
What a strange place for a path and a seat. However, this is another one that needs to be checked by the CO. I think I solved the cryptic hint and the wandering GPS but the cache isn’t there. Three months since this one was found.
Thanks anyway.

Looked for a long time, but with the GPS bouncing all over the area we had to call it quits.

Strange place for the seat and too had wrong song in my head while trying to found cache but got there in the end.
This was great. Had wrong song in my head from the clue. It is not the obvious song! So so tricky. My gps was spot on. Just had to trust it on this one.
Struggled for a while, think we've figured out the clue but some of our team are terribly scared of spiders
This one took a while but I didn't want to give up so I kept at it. Worked out the clue and searched like crazy compas gave no clues jumping around like a kangaroo in end just before running out of time had cache in hand
This was our second visit here. Last time we had no luck and the place was so overgrown. We spent ages searching with no luck. This time it has all been cleared and Marco almost walked straight up to the cache! When he found it the hint made sense - we had the wrong song in our heads!!! TNLNSL TFTC
Revisted this one today to find the path to the silver chair freshly cleared. Finally found the cache after a hint from the owner.
No wonder we missed it on the first time around. Excellent hide!!
Got to sign a brand new log.
Thanks for the hint
Well done guys

Replaced log with a waterproof one so hopefully it will last longer. Also noted that the path to GZ has been cleared.

Found parking off-street & made our way past the bush turkey mound to find ourselves at 'the Silver Chair'.
A few minutes searching had the cache in hand.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Looked & looked.. Found the chair & the old path. No spotting the cache though. Will try again another time.
Forgot this chair was in here. Don't be fooled though by these dastardly GeoKids. This hide is hard. At the end of the day, I always appreciate a bit of the Cougar.
Didnt find this one today. Thinking that it maybe it might be MIA. Might need a check up.
After enjoying the event at Dunethin Rock, Swellerfungus Crookedpete, TCC and I ducked out to grab some late afternoon caches. Our luck was definitely in today as this was the second cache today we had found after a long list of previous DNFs. Swellerfungus was the one who saved the day with his eagle eyes. After signing the log we all wondered why you would go to all that work to construct the facilities in this area and then leave it go to ruin like this[?] Thanks for the cache.
A weekend caching trip with a couple of events, the promise of some high terrain caches, camping and kayaking was too good to refuse. After the first event, Swellerfungus, SeffnJarah, my youngest son T.C.C. and I ventured off on a late afternoon caching run.
Parking nearby, we ventured down the overgrown path. Sure doesn't take long for nature to re-claim human endeavour. Soon enough, we were at the chair. But why does it face that way? The outlook is over there! Soon enough, with the hint in mind, the cache was found.
Many thanks Secret7(P)

After arriving in at the nearby Dunethin Rocks event and setting up camp, I was convinced to join SNJ, CrookedPete and his young un TCC for a few caches before dark.
Odd and Odd! What is that all about? Why is it there?, Why is it overgrown? Why face THAT way?So many questions, so few answers!
We looked around, and eventually made the find. Good hiding spot! Hard to find in the dying twilight.

I just had to sit down.... Hoping that I would be taken to a Narnia kind of world. And alas, my thoughts of wardrobes didn't help. Ah well, still a cache to find!!! While I managed to find the well hidden beasty, my mind was racing for questions of the silver chair. And it made me a little sad that it should be so lonely, until I remembered that it will be forever remembered with geocaching.

Friday. Mr Slow Puncture ventured out today with Nyssaflutterby and her mini-munchkin to launch a raid on some Sunshine Coast inland-type caches.
Pulled into the purpose-built cacher-aprking area (or so it seemes!) and followed the compass. Found the aforementioned silver chair. WHY is it HERE? Looked about this area for a while then followed the compass a bit further. Soon a familar type of hide was revealed.
This was the 18th of 19 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Secret7(P)[/Blue], for bringing us here.

Out geocaching with friend Mickezza and hoping to find this one as it would be my 50th, but no luck. Looked everywhere, we'll everywhere except where it is. An extra hint would be good.
Too difficult for us.we looked for ages .tried to interpret the hint but that meant nothing.
Well this one wasn't as easy as ppt 2. In fact it was darn hard, as we has no luck and had to give up after 40 mins or there abouts. You would laugh at us trying to make out what the clue meant. BORN was the only word that we thought it could be, but it doesn't make any sense to any of us 4. The weird things we were picking up too. What a laugh we had, but no luck in finding, we are just not smart enough to work it out. Thanks anyway. We would appreciate another hint or two
We had no luck with this one today. This area is rather overgrown - not sure how this is an actual trail as there is no way you can walk along it! We searched in quite a wide circle around GZ and had no luck. The hint was rather confusing and didn't help at all. Is it meant to say 'then' or 'than'? We gave up our search after about 20 minutes.
Doing a maintenance run on some of caches. Replaced logbook. Enjoy the cache.

After having no luck here last week, we decided to come back and see what we were missing.
Not sure how we missed that last time, but it is indeed a sneaky hide.
Sometimes you have something in your mind and it turns out to be something completely different

Disappointing to not find. Tried twice and with 2 devices. A hint would be nice for those that don't have the luxury of PAF
