Had my bike on the car so unpacked it and rode to GZ. Last time I was here there was a model yacht regatta on. There was another one on today, but luckily on the other side of the lake. Thanks......
Ms KR had a training day, so I went for a cruise around Christchurch, catching up on the new caches. Pretty cold to start withbut it did get warmer (relatively) during the day.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

We did the circuit around the lake on the way back to the car so I could get my name in this log book too as StreetWalker had already found the cache a few weeks ago. Despite that, it took a few minutes to locate the cache, as he forgot where he had replaced it! There were some guys working on machinery over the fence, so I hope they were too busy to notice a couple of mad people scratching around under a bush.
It was starting to get hot on our walk, so I was very happy that I had left my jacket back at the car. Thanks for lovely walk, we'll be back another time for the rest of the caches along the walkway linking Clearwater Resort. TFTC.

#12382. I needed one cache today to turn May 11 into a 10+ day, so thought I'd come out to these lakes to sign one log, and locate a few others for future reference. Getting to this one involved stepping over a low fence, so I thought I'd make it my cache of the day. TFTC.
Easy find with the clue, also the bushes have got a green fence in front of it now, nothing that throwing the kids over could fix.
Went down the private road to the scout camp. And used the private car park... Why so private?? Council signs etc... A couple of guys nearby fashioning a swing in the tree and floating in a boat... but paying very little attention to me. TFTC (2725)
did a couple of km's in the park nearby. found all caches OK. Some showed up immediately, some did take some more instinct. Thanks to the owner(s) for a great after work adventure.
Today was our last day on NZ. We spent it around Christchurch and on the beach on a wonderful Sunday with lots of sunshine. On our way we found some caches.
Thanks for many amazing experiences on both islands.
Greetings from Denmark.

The first cache I looked for in the New Year and it wasn't there! Certainly not where the hint indicated, or maybe I’m blind. I’ll be interested to see if anyone reports in the next little while that they’ve found this. I certainly didn’t!
I had some time spare before meeting the family at Orana Park later on this morning. Also it was time to have a bit of exercise.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
A nice walk with the whanau to find the caches along the paths here. Good day for it, sunny, not too hot. Great place to be on a day like this!
The cache was definitely by the larger not the smaller hint object, and we left it there as there is not much cover by the other one... TFTC!!

Boxing day caching trip with the whanau! A lovely day for a nice stroll along, and plenty of caches around!!!
Great to finally tick these off - have been meaning to for quite a while actually! Clear them off the map, as I don't neccessarily want to be coming here for my one a day haha.
Thanks for the hides

Easy find on a nice summer evening. Covered up cache as it was exposed and too easily seen.
We were looking for some ducks to feed, so we came through here. Not a lot of luck with the ducks, but I did find some caches.

This was my second visit to Christchurch in as many weeks, a fortnight ago I flew down for the Mega event with my family in tow, this time I was down to attend a conference held at the school of Education. My wife generously agreed to allow me to stay an extra day (and night) to explore the city and do some Geocaching. I made the most of the opportunity and found just over a hundred caches during my visit.
I decided to start my big day with a nice long walk and this area fitted the bill. I saved this one for the walk back to the car. A nice quick find. There was a lot more action happening around from when I passed this way earlier in the day with some canoeists in one lake and some form of jetski event taking place in the other.

I was surprised to find that there were so many caches scattered around the lakes after parking the geomobile at the nearby caravan park !! [:o]
So much for sitting around drinking beer all arvo ... there were caches and a damn good walk to be enjoyed
This cache was soon spotted in the bushes behind the business

A trip down here at short notice to provide some assistance to a rep for a presentation to do, so another opportunity to collect a few caches in the area that will assist me with the DGSc Challenge that I feel I am working my way through so slowly.
So on arrival it was grab a car the evening before (good of work to cover the cost this time), finish the days work and begin on another hunt
This was the second of the evening and had the place all to myself, would be a great place for families in the summer, Thanks for the chance of another smilie.
thanks for the placement and the fun of the chase

The model sailing boat race had just started so while everyone was distracted I bagged the cache. Dropped off Blue Swimmer trackable.
on my way to the big city for a few days for work (caching) so had time to pick a few off on my way to the hotel , only been in town for half an hour and I needed to find some green spaces so this was closest to the hotel.
having bumped into the CO the other week in ash Vegas racing for a FTF ( well I was) she had mentioned a few caches by the airport so I just happened to be staying nearby and couldn't miss an opportunity , nice hide tftc

After I finished my work meetings for the day I came to this area for a bit of an afternoon walk in the fresh air and to find a few caches here. This was the first one I came to and it was quickly found in the first place checked. TFTC, Biggles.
We had the morning to fill in after travelling to Chch for an appointment. What better way to spend it than a walk on a fine winters day and pick up a few caches.
Good spot. Good co-ordinates TFTC

Keeping my streak alive and saw that these traditional caches were close-ish to work (I mostly just have puzzles to solve around there now). Although I probably should have made 7 trips to collect the caches in this area one at a time (to make 7 days of my streak ) I actually went for the walk and got the lot.
This was a nice easy find to get me started. Thanks!

On a bike ride with geocachlette. Pretty busy around here today with a running event, jet skiig, and canoe polo. Quick find by the cachlette. TFTC
This cache was one of 350 found on a short trip back to New Zealand, which was principally organised so that I could attend my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday.
I have a great time and enjoyed a great variety of caches, most of which were new (ie published in the past couple of years ).
Thanks for all the great caches.

Had to use the hint after a search around. Easy enough in the end. Tftc
18212 km from home we found this Cache while our holidays. Thank you very much for hiding and greetings from Dresden, Germany!
Was in the area watching some dragon boating so we slipped away and located this cache. Thanks for the hide.
On a bike ride around to lake also stopped to chat and watch a fisherman catch about 6 Tench in about a hour, really technical how he did it. The cache was quickly found in good condition. TFTC
Quickly found on a rather muggy day. After signing we watched a group of young kids being taught how to paddle their Canoes..Great safe place for them..TFTH
First cache of this afternoons trip around the lakes and tracks. Nice easy find and only 1 dog walker to disturb the replacement. TFTC
Picked up Moggyval from the airport and thought we would get a bit of exercise before heading home. tftc
Just off the plane, and straight into it. Sailing school was on nearby, but they were too engrossed to notice us. TFTC
We thought we might walk out to some of these caches in yesterday's heat but decided against that. I was glad as there were a few more extra caches published in the area. I put a watch on them and thought I'd check them in the morning. I checked this morning and there was only a log for one of the new caches!! I headed off with my bike in the back and thought I'd give the rest a crack. I parked at the suggested carpark and jumped on the bike. It's fun caching on a bike. I got to this one first and made a quick find a grabbed a TB.
Lovely morning with a bit of dew on the grass, shes going to hot today.
Thanks for the cache.

Grabbed this one on the way back from the kiwi864 trail. There was a lot of activity in the lake today, good to see people out and about. TFTC
It being a nice day for bike ride, I set off from Redwood Park to cyclocache the Western suburbs of Christchurch. This was the first stop. I noticed that quite a lot of trees had been moved from around the canoe polo area. Had to delay my approach till a muggle and his muttlet had moved clear. . Watched some kids learning to sail as I waited. The cache then was quickly found, signed and replaced, then I was off to find Carabidae. TFTC.
