Impromptu find while out for a run, beautiful spot! Didnt have a pen sorry so see pic of log for reference. Tftc
Last one in NZ before flying home to the UK. Thank you NZ its been great. Sadly didnt quite make the 800 milestone but nearly. Signed log with pencil. TFTC.
Located with Ricardinho Out on our bikes today doing a bit of exploring around Christchurch. Just targeting a few caches in this area on the cycle track & around the lakes. Quick park & grab TFTC
Find #4 today. No issues here thanks to the hint. Coords were spot on as well. Nice view. TFTC Kiwi864.The first part of geocaching today was to get down to these lakes and give the bikes a short spin.Just the one that we did not really attempt, because neither of us are good with heights, although RG72 did get up there - she just couldnt get it open. The rest were reasonably straightforward and any special notes on them are before this cut and paste bit. Thanks all COs.
Parked up near the resort and followed the track for an enjoyable stroll in an area I have never visited before. The "Keyring" retainer has corroded through and now the cache has dropped to the base of the hint object, in the long grass; TFTC
Took a bit of searching in the long grass. 9th if u count the corner post u can't see.
Decided to have a good go at some geocaching on my day off. 3 girls and 7 dogs, we had fun
New waterproof log in place...….but only just.
Busy place today, as ranger on one side loading firewood and farmer on other side of fence loading hay bales

Well, to my count it was the 8th not the 9th hint object. But took me seconds to spot the cache anyway.
Quite wet all around, glad I wore my new shoes.

A lovely walk in the fresh Autumn air. Hope the Crusaders beat the British and Irish Lions tonight TFTC
Nice place to put up a tent perhaps, a quick dip was a nice thought as it was getting quite warm on the bike. Cheers
Found on a geostroll with geofriends and their geodogs. Good geotimes, thanks for the geocache
Found while out on a stroll with odgersaj and hughdg and two geo mutts TFTC
Staying nearby at Clearwater. Saw a number of caches that were just too close not to grab. TFTC
#2,607: Clear Smiley!
I came to this one on a very nice walk with my GeoMissus, GeoYoungling #3, and some new cachers, kumachanz. Temperatures were perfect, and we made it all the way to Sawyers Arms and back to the Groynes with everyone in good spirits.
This was our third stop, and we found the small container after a short search.
SL/TFTC!!

Here in ChCh for a quick visit... while Miss 17 is off at a Gym comp in Hornby I'm out caching looking for high FP's and somewhere to walk... Just been to Kaiapoi collecting the FP's and now working my way back to Hornby. Great track along here - heaps of walkers about today.
No trouble locating this one...

The caches on this walkway have been on my "too lazy" list for too long, and today I decided to tick them off. I started off from the Clearwater end, and was initially a bit confused on where to start... found it eventually... The community service vans that were parked up nearby the last cache had now driven past me while I was walking to this cache, and I was holding my breath hoping they didn't stop too close to here, luckily they kept going, so I was able to find it without any trouble. Another lunchtime jaunt with StreetWalker to increase our finds number for the day, for a challenge we have set ourselves.
A bit of a meandering walk from where we had parked our car to here, but apart from the cold southerly (we had made sure we were wrapped up warmly) , it was a pleasant walk. Lots of new planting around here so it will be a very sheltered walkway once everything grows. TFTC.

Very late log - 24 Sept Been busy moving house - to 7 hours away.
This cache was found on a Girl Guide unit. Having found Carabidae with small groups we then all set out to walk along this walkway. Each group started with a different cache to find, and those we missed going out we got (or didn't) on the way back.
The rain was starting as we left - but that didn't stop us much.
The girls found this one easily enough and I added my name to the list.
On paper it looked like a short walk to our next one - but we had to back tack and use the bridge.
Thanks for the cache.

did a couple of km's in the park nearby. found all caches OK. Some showed up immediately, some did take some more instinct. Thanks to the owner(s) for a great after work adventure.
