Visiting from NZ and using the opportunity to find enough caches to earn the Cosmic souvenir.Decided to attempt the Glider Forest Trails today and maybe a few extras as well. Ended up doing a 16.5 km walk over five and a half hours and finding 41 out of 41. Very pleased that all the caches were in place and able to be found. This one was a nice quick find in the hint location. Unfortunately, the lid is toast and contents are soaked. Really could do with some maintenance. Thx to the COs for placing all these caches.

We am from Switzerland...and we travel all States and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of green ones Smilies in this forest. Were we parked we met the guys who cut the trees .I asked him if we had to be aware of snakes ?! He said we are okay on the paths ..So in the bush we were very much aware there could be some ..so we took stickes to get the caches out of the hidding .. I also wore long trousers and good shoes . It was very hot today even in the bush and we heard the ciclades an kookaburras . We spoted he caches in fairly good time .Thank you for this Dsli ( which means is Swiss cache )oinkoinkThis Cache needs maintainace There is a hole in the Box and eggs inside

05-Oct-23
Another cache that was scattered all over the place. This time the container and bag were both damaged and the logbook was soggy but I was still able to write in it. I put everything back together and rehid it. I wonder if it is animals scattering the caches like this?Today I completed the Glider Forest Power Trail. I walked 6.5km in just over 2hrs and found 22/23 caches. This is a new daily record for me (my previous record was 21 caches). Apart from 1 that seemed to be missing and a couple which were damaged, the caches were all in good condition and fairy easy to find. The council is doing some major track works at the moment so I was off-track for the entire second half of the series, which just added to the fun!

Container lid is broken & all the contents are a sodden mess.

19-Jun-23
I was keen for some fresh air, exercise & caching today so headed out to Glider Forest. I collected 8 Power Trail caches plus 2 other traditionals. The contents of the cache are a sodden mess & the lid is broken. Added a new log sheet in a new bag. TFTC

18-Jun-23
Made our way through the brush to GZ for a quick find but as we opened the container, discovered that it was filled with manky water as was the bag with swaps. Fortunately, the log was in its own separate bag inside that bag and was still usable but the cache will need maintenance. Thanks Cantcacheus2014

18-Jun-23
Oh yuck! This one was absolutely flooded. Emptied out and we’re able to stamp the logbook itself which had been double bagged and wasn’t too bad at all but the other contents fared poorly. TFTC

18-Jun-23
A chorus of disgusted oooohs arose as we opened this cache to find it full of manky water. Emptied out what we could, but we were travelling light today and didn’t have a repair kit handy. Fortunately, the logbook was inside its own plastic bag, and although the swaps bag was also wet, the logbook had survived. This cache will need some love. TFTC, Cantcacheus2014. =^.^=

17-Sep-22
Over on the Southside for some more caching therapy today, I enjoyed this area so much I wanted to come back and grab a few more, this time I used the bike as I knew the area better. Seems I have been over this way a lot lately. Today the plan was to finish this little area.
I started off and passed a few that I got a few weeks back, reached the first for today in no time. Again, there was no one around here today so it was very peaceful. I only had time to get five or six before I had to return and continue on with my duties for the day.
Thank you for the outing, all caches were found in good order and all logs were signed with caches returned as found.

27-Jul-22
I wasn’t planning to stop here today… but thought I’d take advantage of the chilly morning and enjoy a quick walk around…

Thank you, Cantcacheus2014, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

15-Aug-21
As noted by many this logbook is just mush and can't be signed. The inside of the cache is also wet so I couldn't leave a log sheet as I didn't have a plastic cliplock to put it in (we had just replaced the whole Paradise cache so my spares went into that). Sorry couldn't help with maintenance on this one. TFTC.

10-Jul-21
A fun day out with Davidwazza! TFTC!

10-Jul-21
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took our MTBs, and rode around Sergeant Dan Stiller Memorial Reserve / Warril Parkland and Glider Forest Conservation Area. It was fairly cruisey riding around with a few ups and downs, and a creek crossing that was deep enough to prevent riding through (although my shoes got wet with my attempt). Following our ride, we headed east to Browns Plains and visited Logan West Library, followed by a stop at IKEA.

During our ride in this area, we made a stop at this geocache, where we made the cache find reasonably quickly. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was saturated, and almost unsignable. I've added a new logbook page on behalf of the CO, so the cache can continue to be found and logged. Thanks Cantcacheus2014 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

30-Oct-20
Finally revisiting this trail today a bit over a year after finding the majority of this series. With the aim of completing this corner of Glider Forest this afternoon. This was the 3rd.

Thought this was going to be the most bush-bashy of the lot going by the map but it turned out to be just the last five metres. A familiar pile gave away the location a few metres out.

What else does one do when isolating in Brisbane for the Easter break but go to a remote piece of bush land to register a few cache finds? We ran into one person in the last 3 times we've been to this location so we thought this to be a pretty responsible place to exercise.

A bike ride in isolation in this piece of bushland.
Have been saving this cluster of caches for a day when I would need them, as I have now completed the goals I had set myself it was a good time to grab these.
The tracks were deserted.

Continuing my ride collection simleys on good coordinates

Thank you for hiding this one

I was looking a good day caching were it was more about walking than driving. Had been in the park next door awhile ago. So this part was always on the list.

Today was the day. Love the walk around the park.
Thank you for bringing me here.

Sorry for the generic post.

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Cantcacheus2014 ¥298. #1880 Finds.

N u n n o c h e i n e ü b e r f l ü s s i g e I n f o r m a t i o n ü b e r d a s W e t t e r. Sorry for that. Wir haben nicht alle Caches gemacht. War auch nicht nötig, um die beiden Schlösser zu öffnen. LoL! Danke für die Runde insoweit. Smile

Out for the day with nikid1. Our last for the day as the humidity as really zapped our energy & it's time for some air conditioning & a nice cold drink. We've walked about 10km so think we deserve a rest now.
Thanks for all the caches & a great day out Cantcacheus2014

21-Mar-19
Out on this hot day with KerriMG to collect a few caches. Thanks for this series.

09-Mar-19
Cute one

27-Jan-19
Before we knew we didn’t need them, Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were collecting the clues as we went. It became clear we were over halfway but didn’t have half the clues. Naturally the panic and second-guessing began.

Have you looked in every container?
Did you take photos of everything?
Did we leave the iron on?
Can I get my credit card back pretty please?

It was always nice when we found a clue and thankfully lawyers don’t work on a Sunday because there was a litigious wrestle between my wife and I brewing. Seriously, can I get the credit card back. tftc

08-Sep-18
Eighteen caches in and I'm yet to pass a single person, despite it being a Saturday. I'm guessing the threat of bad weather later in the morning has kept a few away. Or maybe the Glider Forest is always super empty? I'm used to Mt Coot-tha where you can't get a park on a weekend morning! It's a nice change. Thanks for the cache and the series, Cantcacheus2014.

19-Aug-18

Found @8:34:00 AM.

With the hidden creature souvenirs month beginning we began searching for possible locations to have a "big" day of caching.
With Lismore area cleaned out Walden clan and I decided to pack the bikes and head North. We left Lismore around 5am and returned around 8:30pm with around 70 finds.
Really enjoy caching this way. A few mishaps along the way.
1. A puncture
2. Lost mobile phone (luckily found again)
3. A run in with the police while trying to access an area that had a road closed sign.
4. A sore bum

37km of cycling.
Had a great day. Thanks to efforts of the hiders.
Sorry for all the copy and past logs.
Cheers

Thanks to Cantcacheus2014 for the cache
