Back to Currarong for a visit - original plan was a snorkel but cold today so only the adults came down. No set plan on the walk but in the end we did the whole Coomies Walk. Not all caches were found (two were not searched for and two I ran out of time) but always good to leave a few for next time.
A look at a previous log I realised what I was looking for here and so proved to be a quick find - looks like a newish log as well so all good here.

Gorgeous view on this hot summer day! Very grateful for encouraging geocaches along our walk to keep us going!
Spent so much time looking and patience prevailed. Leanne made the find, looking somewhere that I had already looked previously! TFTC
Checked around all infrastructure before resorting to sticking my fingers in places I would rather not. Found the sneaky little thing but unable to open, spent ages trying. Took photo of cache and where it was if CO would like.
More to come Back again for a final push on the last caches to be found in the peninsula and surrounding area. It's taken several years and a good number of adventures heading to some truly spectacular places. Was really looking forward to some more of the coastal cliff hides.
Parked in the Bosum Creek carpark and crossing the bridge headed out along the track. Muddy in parts, underwater in others, but always a side trail to detour around. As expected the hides weren't usually easy, but well thought out and of course hidden.
Continuing along the open track, the clouds kept temperature comfortable. Slowly each hide found signed and replaced, taking a stack of photos, mostly of the amazing views. Passed under a number of webs, always occupied by something, usually with 8 legs.
3 hours later I was back at the geomobile, job done. Drove back to our place in Sanctuary Point, via one or two more recently hides, eventually sitting down for a well earned beer.
Specific cache find details added at end of log.
Was adamant I had found it first place I looked. I hadn't. TNLNSL TFTC

It was a beautiful afternoon for a walk. Unfortunately we did not have a pen to put our name first on the brand new paper roll!

Found tyftc. Hopefully going to finish this little headland on this visit. Find #2818
In desperate need of 'Me time' I just picked a direction and drove until I reached a good caching ground. The heavy rain didn't even bother me.
By the time I reached the top of the stairs the rain had disappeared and strong winds blew in. Glad to finally get this nasty nanooff my list.
Thanks for the cache

Hmmm...yes. furniture.
Look in other places than the obvious spot, hint I'm pretty sure if a but old. Man made is a better description.
Streak intact, tftc!

Beautiful view! Clue was a bit off though, I think the 'furniture' is quite new and cache was placed prior to it's instillation
What a find, another granddaughter came to the rescue. TFTC JenneG and Budgy. And the view is spectacular as well.
Yesterday Loci612 and I (Darksidedan) left Canberra at 5am and headed out to Goulburn to pick up Fitzy_1965. Not long after we were at the first cache of the day. An FTF north of Moss Vale then onto Nowra to find a swag of 40 plus caches for the day. The days highlights included seeing two Sea Eagles, millions of birds, a Wombat and A Dolphin. In Total I drove 660kms and we cached for a total of 16 hours including driving time.
This cache was one of the caches that we found. The cache was signed DSD for Darksidedan. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. We will be back this way to clean up any caches we missed this time.
A Very Big Congrats to Loci612 who got his 10,000th cache find and managed to do his 6th D/T Loop on the same cache. I was glad to be there for such a milestone.
Hard to find but got there in the end

**This Cache:**
Wow, two tough finds in a row!
The hint is extremely off-putting, and arguably not correct! We walked 30m away from GZ after finally admitting defeat, but I was still reading the logs. And then BAM. I hit the log I was looking for! Something was said that sparked a clue, so I ran back to GZ and said, GOT IT! Cheeky, maybe if we didn't read the hint it would of been easier!
Thanks! Really happy to get there in the end

**Today:**
Myself, DSD and Fitzy_1965 planned a long day trip down to Nowra, and Currarong to pick up some caches! I was nearing my 10,000th find, and 6th D/T loop so had a cache lined up for the milestone! We left Canberra at 5am, picked up Fitzy from Goulburn, grabbed an unexpected first to find in the Southern Highlands, and then headed down to the coast!
The day lasted 16 hours before we finally returned home after 9pm. A very successful day, I don't believe we had a single DNF! My milestone cache did take 1 hour to find though, phew!
Thanks to all the CO's and DSD + Fizty for the company

MrT found this cache while exploring the area. The log was jammed in the nano container
and no matter how hard he tried he couldnt get it out!

Wow, smallest geocache we've ever found! You need to feel for it, NW on man made object. TFTC!
Did I need a sit down after that 60m ASL climb? Well no, but just as well really, given the state of the furniture. The track up is a bit steep and rocky in places, possibly a T3 in rating? Grand views, great breeze, I just love a rocky heathland. Geosenses kicked in, and found the magnetic nano rather quickly. My dexterous fingernails soon extracted log, signed and returned. TFTC seaker200
Yes very small, once we worked out the furniture had been ruined for a while, we found it quick smart. TFTC
The broken furniture had us a bit puzzled...... but I love the challenge of a nano
OCW Pel Droed Gwin in Ellie the GeoKombi, we camped for the weekend at the beachside park.
Reinvigorated after lunch at the tunnel we headed up the steps to enjoy yet another sensational view
Found cache in an attractive spot

OCW the Bebes in Currarong and hoping to get some big caching numbers today.

OCW Brewmaker and EverestHigh. Answers were sent by EverestHigh. TFTC seaker200!
OCW EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer on a trip south. Day 2 of our caching adventure. Unfortunately the furniture is a wreck and we finally located the little sucker hidden under the northern end of the other man made object there. TFTC
A great roadtrip with friends, always makes for a wonderful time.
Apologies for the generic logs and thanks to all COs for their caches put out for the fun and enjoyment of others. About time this frown was turned upside down.

A late start to a day of caching that stretched into the night. A really nice stroll out Coomies way. TFTC
With another beautiful day free, I decided to head down to Currarong to find the caches in Abrahams Bosom Reserve along Coomie's Walk and the Wreck Walk. It took a little while to get into the swing of things. By late afternoon, we were operating at a decent pace and finding caches without many hassles. Thanks to the Cache Owners for maintaining the caches in the area!
Found with Muppet95 and Co. on an afternoon outing in Currarong. We had a great time walking around Abrahams Bosom Reserve & found a fair amount of caches as a reward. Thanks For The Caches
#1430 It is not often the whole Gozanators team is together these days and this was the first time with Geo-pup. All up we spent about 5 hours on the circuit with a couple of detours. Arrived at GZ, and after looking at the clue, didn't hold out too much hope for the cache to still be in existence. While I was lying down looking at the remnants of the seat hoping to find something, geo-son was all over the correct spot and had the cache in hand in no time. TNLNSL. TFTC seaker200.
Eleventh and the last one for today! My mobile's battery is running on last 5%. But it was worth it! This was clearly the best trail I've been on for few years and all credits to its CO - @seaker200!
Thank you sir & we'll be back one day to get the rest of caches!

Please ignore the clue, look at other comments. Furniture yes, tiny cache yes
Quite a trek up to this one, feeling the heat and sun despite it being winter. Slightly evil hide, I thought, but Gill&Tony managed to poke it out. TFTC!
Find Number 1257, found at 13:22
GeoSon NationalSteel and I have wanted to tackle this path for some time now. Given the need to find a few caches for the Mary Hyde souvenir, this seemed a good day to go.
I must be getting old, because it was a hard slog getting up the top of the steps. At least it will be all down hill from here, I thought. Wrong!
The hint, this time, wasn't very helpful, and it took us a long time to find the little beast. Eventually we did and all was well
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks seaker200 for the cache.

Nice hide with a brilliant view. Didnt have a pen so here's a pic of the log sheet.
