Being the onset of an early snake appearance season I was rather wary! But adventurous me went trolloping in loudly to find the yellow! Tftc
I was left with a few hours to kill while the rest of the crew were watching sad Disney characters do drugs! (Frozen on Ice)
The brain said: I'm glad it's not peak snake season!
The GPS said: 5m further.
The eyes said: there it is!

After moving backwards and forwards and getting very wet feet eventually managed to locate it. After that decided that today was not a good day for caching.

As I pulled up in the car, the phone beside me went "ding". I had parked within 20m of the cache but where was it? It looked like I had to walk in the long grass but I couldn't find a geotrail. Time to get my prancing shoes on again and head somewhere uncomfortable. With a bit of luck I uncovered the hide and was quickly able to sign my name. tftc
Out with Wombles and co and Stortigirls for our last monday caching day before school holidays (hopefully there will be more on the school holidays) and we were chasing our December letters and this was one of our E's. This one had us a little confused as it had moved since stortigirls had found it first we were on the right side of the creek then the wrong (as we thought we needed to be on this side) and then again back to the correct side. It wasnt where I was expecting using the hint I was looking at everything yellow. Once we found it we understood the hint TFTC
Out and about with Stortigirls and Rhobocacher for our last Monday outing before the school holidays (sob sob).
Stortigirls had already found this one but Rhobo and I needed it for the letter E for December.
We went to the right side then the wrong side then back to the right side again.

Nice easy find. Had to find something to keep the cache keeper occupied while a grabbed the treasure box.
Out with cachemeifyoucam for the day. This was the second one on the list. Concentrating on two things at once clearly isn't something I'm good at, as I directed us in the wrong direction a couple of times, but we got there in the end
A pleasant walk around to this one stopping at a likely spot and found the cache safely tucked away. Thanks Monarchs Dual.
Took advantage of the public holiday to find a caching buddy and head out for some finds. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Monarchs Dual.
Was on the wrong side of the ditch for this one. Recent rain meant i had to find a way to cross - found the bridge and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Mrs yv was at the Trans-Tasman Netball Final so how better to pass the time than with a few caches. Like others I had to search around for a path across the ditch and used the pile of timber that others had used. Easy after that. However, on the way to the next cache I found the Bridge across the ditch. Doh!

We were on the wrong side for this one but geogirl found a crossing made of sticks TFTC!
This was the next cache on the list. The GPS put me on the wrong side first but I soon remedied that. Noticed a phone user nearby and assumed they were actually playing Pokemon Go and not geocaching, but hoped they didn't try to follow me to a cache thinking I was searching for a Pokemon. Found the cache easily. TFTC
Here from outta town for some gigs and grabbing a few random GCs where I can. Chose to do this series to ultimately drop my PT in the final cache. This one also found pretty quick as it was missing the camo but the coords on these are also very good. I SLTNLN and replaced camo. No spiders today TFTC!

Came at this from the wrong side at first and looked in the obvious 'light' spot. was not there so went to the coordinates instead and got it...
Today I was scooting south on the Motorway and when I hit a patch of slow traffic, I bailed out of the first exit and flicked my GPSr on. What's nearby? Plenty to choose from! I found a few older hides, then, wandering back to my car, spotted this icon right next to where I'd parked. Well, it would be quite rude to not find it then!
Naturally my GPSr initially pointed in a very wrong location, but I quickly realised what was up and made a location correction. Unfortunately, there was a muggle across the road mowing his yard, looking right at me. I went with the 'look longingly into the bush and be dismissed as a 'weirdo' in his head' method. It worked and while standing there, doing very little, I spotted the geocache. I see what you mean about the hint now!
Just the issue now of getting to it. I could nearly feel old mate looking at me every now and then. I chose to start walking back to the car as he pulled out a leaf blower. He disappeared into his back yard, so I doubled back and ducked down behind the grass to do the deed. A black and khaki jumper likely helped hide me in there.
By the time he returned, I'd signed the log and replaced it and he only saw me again walking back to the car. I'll be amazed if he suspected I was there for any good reason. Happy to have another quick find today! Thanks for this one, Monarchs Dual

Last Cache for the day, Lots of spiders, cache was on the opposite side for where swankeymonkah and I were looking. TFTC!
We were out and about in the area to clear up some of the caches. We took a little while to find this one and found a few rather large and scary spiders while searching. We dropped off a TB to send on its way and signed the log. TFTC
Out for a walk with geodog Polly. We've been to this park a couple of times before, but it gets quite busy so we hadn't searched for this cache before.
We found it after a short search then retreated to sign the log.
Thanks for the cache

Found this afternoon with bear0503 and boo-noyes. The big spider gave boo-noyes a big fright. I thought spider had disappeared after screams but it was still there when I retrieved it. Container went flying but was retrieved and all good. Tftc

Continuing down the road this was the next one on the list. We first approached from the wrong direction and after finding a way around we soon had the cache in hand. TNLNSL TFTC .
The rain is staying steady, but we are persisting and enjoying our caching run. #8 for the day. Tftc
A couple more opportunity caches this morning while making my way to my training course. Actually, I overshot the venue in search of some icons, but that's beside the point...
I wandered in toward GZ at around 0700, and spotted the nearby house residents out of the back verandah... Hmm, ok, so i shall keep an eye on them... They glanced over at me occasionally, but I was dressed to avoid any real suspicion, so I inspected the drain a little as part of my approach. Turns out they were playing darts and weren't going anywhere soon... Who plays darts at 7am... Haven't they got breakfast to attend to... [?]
Anyway, I squatted down and reached for the cache which was in plain sight. With the log out, I etched my name, tucked everything back in the box and dropped it back. I recovered as best I could from the squatting position, then another quick inspection before moving off...
Cheers Monarchs Dual.

Tough Mothers out and about taking over the centre of entertainment burbs, adding another to the list: An attractive colour but not very good camouflage.
Yay this one took ages. Geobrother and I have been looking for like 2 years! (2015-16 that is). Also a first for 2016! Tftc
Wow I'm certainly cutting it fine this month to get my caches for the spell December challenge! This was the last E I needed & it was a quick find by geodaughter on our brief stopover in brissy to unpack our camping stuff before heading out to my sisters for New Year's Eve. TFTC Monarchs Dual I'm almost up to the puzzle in this series
That will teach me to read the description more closely - no clue to be found in this one .. Doh! Thanks for prompt reply Monarchs Dual
Out for a morning of caching on this Boxing Day of 2015. We looked and looked, looked some more. Then suddenly Geohubby shouts out that he's found it. Thanks for the cache, Monarchs Dual!
Had no trouble locating this one. I found it a little exposed and not really blending with the surrounds.
Added my name and gave it some natural camo.
Signed and returned. Tftc

I managed to walk right past this one . I was sure it was going to be in another spot even though our phones said it was exactly where it was supposed to be . That will teach me to not follow directions . TFTC
Staying on this side of town and needing some "E" for December challenge so these were perfect and close to where I was. TFTC
Arrived here and found it quickly as it was fully exposed. Gave it some cover.
Thanks Monarchs Dual
Thanks Monarchs Dual
Going to use this one as one of the "E's" in the November challenge. Which means I owe the CO a big thank you for having them around.
Out on the pushies on a beautiful day. Had a bit of a tendency to make these harder than they were. We were definitely not in the zone today. But we did remember to collect clues!. Thank you Monarchs (MD) for placing and maintaining this cache
#DT25 unique DT number 1 this fine day. Out in the company of my driver Fangsoki, picking up rather specific random caches to meet the needs of a challenge. A quick start after the heart starter. I'd actually scoped this one out recently at the nearby event, but refused to sign it then as I knew I wanted it this day - a little longer overdue than initially planned, but here I am. It's early, but the coffee is good and the cache quickly located.
Thanks for placing this cache, Monarchs Dual. Found in good condition.

Out trying to help Mr Pprime with his 25 Unique D/T's in a day.. this one was the first off the rank.
Well I totally was off course. During the Event a few months ago, I saw people in another area and assumed that was it. No - said Mr Prime - that was for another cache
We headed toward GZ and started our search. Mr Prime must have had his eyes painted on - because he sailed straight past it. We signed the log and rehid the cache as found.
A nice place to visit again.. (after said Event). TFTC Monarchs Dual

On a mission today to knock off a couple of caches for the September challenge (3 e's and a non traditional, multi or mystery). There is a fairly apparent Geotrail to GZ and the container was foud quickly. TFTC
Expanding my ever-widening sea of smilies from home base, I decided to take on the Elements. Made a quick and easy pick up. TFTC MD.
I started this series of caches nearly seven months ago, but I decided to wait until September to get a few 'E' caches for the September Fangsoki Challenge. As one of the Element caches is a puzzle, I thought I would collect a couple of the 'E's now and then finish them off in the next couple of weeks. Eminoz04 has had the last few days off school with the flu and I was getting cabin fever, so as soon as geohubby got home from work, I grabbed Billy the geopooch and we headed off to Donna Phillips Reserve. Billy was very happy to be out and about, but was quite put out when he only had a 1 minute sniff before we found the first cache. What a cool hide! All is good here. After we'd signed the log, Billy and I headed off to find Elements: Earth. TFTC Monarchs Dual
Heading for home after an enjoyable afternoon at Nudgee Beach. It took a small amount of hunting at GZ until finally the beasty was discovered. I left my scribble and then replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Monarchs Dual

I initially made a beeline for where I thought the cache would be only to find that it was several metres back in the direction I'd just come from. Took me a while to find this one, I even looked once at where it was hiding but didn't look hard enough. Second time around I was more thorough and was able to add my name to the log.
Great to just meet you! Look forward to meeting others in an hour at the event! Tftc!
Found during Arvo in the Park with lots other catchers. Thanks Crew153 for your help. TFTC.
Found after a quick little hike from the Arvo in Park event. After standing just a little too long in the creek area, and getting a slightly wet foot while chatting, headed up to GZ and made a quick grab, running into Just a Trifle (who were about to head to Fire) as we were looking. TFTC

at 17:05 under the amused eyes of the COs. Our GPSr led us a bit of a dance for a while.
TFTC again Monarchs Dual. The cache was fine when we left it. The final act of a particularly pleasant day.

On the way to the nearby event and after parking the car myself and LHE Duo, ran into Crew153 heading for this cache, so figured we may as well make the stop and have a bit of a look as well.
There were more then a few geotrails here but with a little looking it would seem that the cache soon appeared for us. Names added to the log and soon we were heading across to the event itself.

Seond find before our event bit trick hide as I saw that hide but didn't think it would be there so I keep look around for few minutes so couldn't find so went back there it is there TFTC
I was at the event within 100m of this cache and on my way to the car to retrieve my lonely mobile I spotted Radnoski heading for this one. I grabbed my phone and headed over. It seemed that the hide was hider than I thought as Radnsoki was standing next to where I thought it would be and he didn't find it. He got called by his wife so wandered off and I started reading logs.
Crew 153 came over and gave me a hint. It was where I thought it would have been. I should have checked there myself! Sure enough there was the container. I signed my name and passed the logbook around to others who had joined me. Thanks for the cache Monarchs Dual

While attending today's event "Arvo in the Park" hosted by this cache's COs, we noticed various fellow-cachers popping over to log the cache. When we was Crew 153 heading over, we decided to join in, too. What a clever way to hide a cache! When we arrived, there were a few others there, too. Some of us decided to tackle the remaining caches of this series, and log the Puzzle at the end, so off we set. Found at 4.00 pm on 25th July 2015. TFTC.
I have done a few of the caches i n this series, but still had two to go as well as the final. This one was too close to an event today to not do it. There just happened to be a few others with the same idea, so it was a bit of a group attack.
It was a nice quick find when another cacher already had it in their hands.

Arriving to attend an event nearby we decided to see if we could find a cache on the way in. After a look all around this spot it was soon found and our names added to the log. TFTC
