Sad to see this one couldn't be saved. We loved this cache. Thanks Burgo for checking for us and for trying to save it.
Bugger. That was a truly one of a kind style of logbook. I’m guessing if the tree is gone then the structure it was under is washed away too.
This was a fun find so I went to check on it today. The container is missing and a lot of erosion has occurred at GZ. Sadly I think this one can’t be saved.

No joy at anything vaguely tree like in the area. With all that happened here in January this is not suprising.
This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

After not finding the cache we read the activity logs and the owners log. For us today the co-ords had us down on the bank where there is no tree. We then checked out the nearest trees and everything around. It has been a few months since the owner checked the cache perhaps another look is in order.
DNF Possibly a victim of the February floods?? There’s still a lot of construction work around here & signs warning of riverbank instability... a few hazardous areas but the nearby playground was a hit with the geo-munchkins...
We almost admitted defeat with this cache. After reading the many logs, we decided to also ditch our GPS & start scouting. FairfieldFogey Sr always wanted to be a detective, so those skills kicked in, which led him to the fun find. TN, but left a keychain. Great spot. Great morning. Had the park to ourselves. Will be back here this weekend for Paws On Patrol. TFTF.
Put the info in the description, also info in the hint saying it is not in the grass section. Check close to the tree.
Once we ignored the title and the GPS and read the logs it was an easy find. Good hiding spot. TFTC
Great size container, we love the ones we can swap kids stuff.
We've taken Yoda for his next adventure and left a giant paperclip.

One of MummyPenny's choices for our winter wondertour of Townsville caches. Fortunately, she'd read the previous comments about a 20m offset, otherwise I'd be thrashing about in the long stuff. Once found, I attempted some needlework but quickly failed, so resorted to the conventional approach. Thanks Jackylegs44.
Found and signed log, tucked it back where it belonged..we found coords about 20 meters out but geosense made this a quick find...TFTC
Found in this beautiful spot next to the river and just near my Sons new house while up for a visit from Brisbane, great cache thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
What a gorgeous place! Cache was easy to find, less easy to retrieve and hardest to log. That was fun, thank you co!
JACS Team was planning a day to snavel up a few geocache that she hadn't hunted for yet and kindly let me tag along! It was an incredible fun-filled day considering I was suffering from cache-blindness and JACS had an injured foot! (feel well soon!). In the end, we enjoyed our time and are off to do it again tomorrow!
I've seen these types of geocaches before and boy was I impressed! Such a nice blissful view (minus the mozzies) to log! TFTC! Favourite point from me!

My favourite of the day. Sat and took my time to 'log'. Leaving you a favourite point.
Ducked in for a visit and picked up a trackable. Everything in good condition.
Nice quick find. Lovely area with a nice view. Few muggles playing in the playground.

Nice park found by geodad as the boy tested the swings nearby. Located by ignoring gps and eliminating the places that couldnt hide a good sized cache. If mum had not been at a ballet exam with the youngest and finishing in 10 mins in town I might have been able to craft a more creative log, rather than just signing it. Thanks for an interesting cache Jackylegs44
Lovely spot and not too hard to find, once we read the hint that it wasn't in the grass and was closer to the tree. Our GPS was directing us straight into the grass, if not the river.
Unfortunately, we couldn't open the cache! Geokids were super sad not to be able to swap some treasures. Took a photo instead.

Thanks to our amazing and dear friend RobS72 we can confirm the cache is still in place.
Still getting information from geofriends over east to see what has to be done.
Looked everywhere. So disappointed this was my second DNF today was introducing some new finders to the game.
Looked everywhere we were supposed to and everywhere we were not supposed to....didn't find a thing
I have found this cache earlier on this year an came back to try and find the trackable but it was not there
I had saved this one for this weekend's Mission GC Challenge.
When I arrived I was expecting an entirely different type of cache and I wasted a few minutes looking in entirely the wrong direction.
I loved the creativity required to sign the of log and I enjoyed the task against a beautiful backdrop. Thanks for bringing me to this location and providing this new experience.
Dropped of Corikra's Sister Travel Bug.
Easy favourite point. Thanks Jackylegs.

With a lack of 10+ favourite caches to be found in Cairns, we organised a day trip to Townsville. This was our first find.
We parked at the suggested co-ordinates and made the short walk to the GZ. A few small children and a parent playing on some nearby playground equipment, but the location of the cache ensured that we were not observed.
Thanks Jackylegs44 for this hide.

Our last day in Townsville, today we have been tols of a couple of unusual caches that we plan to find.
This took a little while to find as we found the cache 20m from GZ. After reading the hint we thought it could only be in one place.
We sat & took our time to sign the most unusul log book. Plenty of equipment required still in the container.
Thanks for placing this cache Jackylegs44

Found at 16 54. An easy find even though the GPS had me some 7 M away the hint served me well. TFTC.
Best geo cache we have found to date. Lovely location to sit and fill in the log. Geo junior found it.
Left a smurf toy. Took a travel bug.

been meaning to get back to this one after I was told about it at the BBQ event that was held here, was visiting a friend in the area today, so perfect time to grab this one while the sun was setting. First time I have come across a log like this TB swap.. dropped TB rat and picked up TB Iggy. TFTC . favourite point from us
Great little adventure finding your treasure with my son while out riding our bikes
# 1832 Lightning visit to the Ville, but couldn't miss the opportunity to collect some of the new caches.

After rereading the previous posts I think that we will have to do the same as Fairfield 10 and either go back and sign the log book properly or borrow it for ten minutes and fix up our entry. (we also live around the corner) Thank you Jackylegs44.
What an amazing cache. We managed to visit this one just on dusk. I was convinced the muggles across the road sitting on their front patio knew what we were doing but they didn't make comment. Once I saw how to sign the log, I knew I would need some light and as I live very close, I ducked home to complete the log . We had it returned in half an hour. I haven't seen any like this before! Thanks Jackylegs44. Well worth the visit.
Checked on the bugger today. All good to go. Put a new logbook in it as the previous one was full.

Coords are way off in the grass so need updating but there's really only one place this could be. Quick find then the fun began for a middle aged male who hasn't used such equipment since school. It could be seen as an ALR but I'm not one to quibble over such things. Did a reasonable job - glad to have a short username - but ran out of material quickly. What I lacked (due to coming by plane) is something to cut with. It would be nice for a tiny pair of scissors to be placed in there as well. The wind played merry heck with me but I finally got there. Had to leave the tool in the material though as I couldn't remove it so the next person needs to watch their fingers.
Thanks! (favourite for originality)

We had a few people whose GPS were pointing them into the grass section, while other cachers got the same GPS coordinates we did and did not veer into the grass but closer to tree. We have rechecked coords with our Magellan GPS three times now but we get the same coordinates as posted. There seems to be some discrepancy between some of the GPS devices as some get the same results we do and some don't.
Cache is not in the grass section but located close to tree.

Lots of fun a great one but needs to be a difficulty 5 for people who can't see buttons. Need to give a little time for this one of planning to log. Thanks and loved the message. I tried my best and made my mark.
This is a really crafty cache and it was sooooo much fun to take the time to sign the log properly. This one deserves a fav point for being something very different. TFTC.
[Blue]# 12377[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another perfect winter day to find a few caches around townsville.
I found it over 10m from my GZ, but where the logs said it would be.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.

I thought I'd grab this one after an appointment nearby. It was a quick find but, not being the crafty type, logging took a little longer. A nice spot and great idea. A favourite point from me. TFTC.
Awesome log book idea.. not a good time to have a long name though. Tftf guys
Wow what a cache..... Awesome find for our 150th cache... Will bring back the whole family to show them this spot...I had no idea what I was doing but gave it a crack.... Did have me in stitches trying to work it out.... Tftc
This cache had me in stitches once I realised what it was all about, but left me hemming and hawing over my log... At first I was a bit bemused at one of the attributes as it seamed not to match the difficulty, though it did prick my interest. Everything became clear once we'd retrieved the cache, though, courtesy of dazzpete while I was searching elsewhere. I've always been a fan of taking your time over a well-crafted log and this was no exception, though I suspect it's knot for everyone as we're not all cut from the same cloth. The locale was perfect for spending some time chatting with friends, building a more close-knit relationship, enjoying the breeze and unravelling the mysteries of jabiru to a Swede, but did he believe me? I'm a frayed knot! Pete claims she did a sew-sew job but I think it looked lovely. A favourite point from me! TFTC, Jackylegs44. =^.^=
This one has been on my radar for a little while now and today it is finally crossed off thanks to Rickard and La Kedi letting me tag along.
The cache was found easily and it was a lovely spot today to sit, chat and admire the surrounds while signing the log.
Patience was the key to ensuring that our scratchings in the log were legible. I might have failed but I'm sure La Kedi has set the bar for future logs.
A great idea and thanks for putting this out there, a fav point from me.

I have been meaning to do, even looking forward to this one for a while, so finally today the geodogs and I went for it. What a lovely park and place! No muggles when we arrived which was good for the hunt. The phone gps was pointing into the grass, but I already had some inside information that it wasn't in the grass, so I set to work in the area where I thought it was, and found it pretty quickly.
Next to the funky part - the groovy log book! It took a little while, but I was quite proud of my handiwork!
Awesome cache Anja and Troy, a favourite from me!
Thanks for sending me to this lovely area too - a great spot for the furry kids too! TNLN

First time here i was looking too much on my gps. Today i was better prepared. Big smile when I found it. Compensation for too many logs scribbled down in a rush but still not good handwork here.
Thanks for the cache, FP

Decided to try this one on the way home from the Event. It was such a fun and a fitting end to a lovely day. We found this cache fairly easily and were in stitches laughing at the final solution. Good one. TNLN TFTC
Ok, where does one start with this cache? Well I have to start off with saying Wow! Was not expecting that!
It took me two attempts to find this cache. I had a preconceived idea of what I was looking for and that's what defeated me the first time around.
With a hint from the CO, I was back and after a brief search, I had the cache in hand. It turns out that extracting the cache is the easy part. I would like to say more, but that will spoil the fun for the next finders. But the name of the cache will become quite self explanatory once you get inside. A tip I will give for future finders, is to bring a small cutting implement with you. It may just come in handy.
But once inside, I found a blank log book. So I happily placed my name under the FTF section of the log.
I loved the concept and have awarded a favorite point accordingly. Well done Anja & Troy. Great job.
Took and left nothing. Log signed. The cache container and contents were found to be in excellent condition. Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1270.
