DNF even after a good look. lovely horse just over the fence. there has been a few tree's cut right at gz. may need checking as appears to be missing. after back in the car I see another DNF here. Hmmm
Bored at home today, so Merlot58 and I headed out for a spot of geocaching away from the chaotic Xmas traffic. We visited here first and weren't too deterred by the DNFs. Thankfully we were hidden from the muggles on the playground while searching. We spent a good time here looking every where. Maybe the CO needs to check on this one.
Out with Aiden29 and after a good search and reading logs that said easy find we are pretty sure this one has gone
With my new cool job, I can be anywhere anytime in and around Auckland. So today at this moment I'am here. Taking a break, means call for a cache. Parked the car and walked to GZ. Bit windy and cold. Lot of dog walkers. Made a quick find, with the help of the hint and cache is all good here. tftc.
#3970. I am up in Auckland for yet another work trip. After a morning of work, I had the chance for a few hours off in the afternoon to get some caching done. The rain fell on and off all afternoon but by picking park and grabs I was able to find about 15 caches. A nice little suburban park here. Quite a few dog walkers present today. The cache was quickly found. Hidden in plain view. Signed and replaced the cache where found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Stopped for a quick find, once I found it, had a wander back to the car to replace the log. Luckily had some waterproof paper and bag. So log signed, and returned to its hiding place.
With all the rain, the dressage arena over the fence is full of water, like a rectangular swimming pool. The horses in the paddock are very friendly, and if you ask nicely they might tell you where the cache is
Thanks for the hide, and bringing us here.

Log is mush. Super easy find. Bottom of cache is perishing, should taped up and new log placed.
#44 wanted to pick up a cache this afternoon and swung past this one. Wish I had read some previous logs beforehand as I would have brought one out here! Nice easy find but no chance of signing. Awesome area too, thought I had been through this area before but I've never seen this reserve, great spot for the kids, TFTC!
Found it with brandon97, needs a new log but had no paper on me to replace it utopianz, tftc though
Spent the day cruising around looking for drivebys and few walkbys. The log is mush and I couldnt write on it. Thanks.
A number of people in the park enjoying the children's playground on this stunning Spring morning. We wandered to GZ and quickly found the cache - log is a little damp.
Last find before meeting up with a mate for a much needed coffee date so was hoping for a quick find here. Originally was looking a little too low, but with nothing obvious showing itself I repositioned myself and made a quick find. Nicely done - TFTC
Find number 2. We need to practice not looking suspicious. And remember to bring a pen. Good fun.
This seemed like a good cache to keep my streak going on a Sunday afternoon.
I walked to where I expected the cache to be but my phone dragged me 5 - 10 meters away. After much looking I went back to that first spot with easy success - my phone now decided to tell me I was at GZ too, crazy phone!
I can see myself bringing the entire family here (two and four legs) some time.

Took a second trip to the park to find it quiet enough to collect this cache
Such a great park and took the bike for Mr 2 to ride around the little track.
Thanks for showing us this park which I suspect will become a regular place to visit for us

TFTC perhaps a bit of camo will make it a bit more of a challenge? Lovely park and beautiful horse!
We've been here before for a previous cache in this park, it was about 3 years ago and our little one was just born, I remembered sitting him on the tractor on the playground. I think he enjoyed it a lot more this time, TFTC
Tftc! Impromptu search on my morning walk so didn't have a pen on me! Will come back later to sign the log!
After having a break during the hottest part of the day Vistra and I were ready to tackle some finds again, some were published whilst we were on siesta (if we had been in the car we may have even made a go for ftf) but that did help us plot the route we were now going to target. Quick find.

Had some free time to kill today so thought I would add a few smiley faces across some "out in the west" caches. Nice quick find after a "walk in the park". TFTC
Yay our first cache, would have walked right past this a few times before, but now no longer a muggle haha! Took dog for a walk doing it. Logged as Dan & Carole. TFTC

A pleasant little walk with geodogs. Lots of muggles, but none too close to gz fortunately. tftc
A nice quick find, while the geodogs ran around having a ball in the park. Tftc
After work I decided to get some caches so this month could be my best month ever. Pulled into here and after a brief search of not finding it in the trees I searched a little further and there it was.
A nice quick find the other day when I was out west scouting locations for some more sneeky little hides...cheers V.
Wow, what a pleasant local park in this area. Surprised by how obvious this one was. TFTC
found on a day out with Grandson, he was looking for the horses when he spotted the cache, he was disappointed this was all he found, but cheered up with a play on the playground. I was thrilled to find the cache tftc
Collecting a few caches on the way home from surfing at Bethels. Great place to bring your children for a picnic. Park has a playground and a paved walking / cycling track. Nice quick find. TFTC
Was driving around the area today cleaning up a few unfound caches. I quickly spotted the cache here, but had to wait for a dog walking muggle to move on before I could retrieve the cache. TFTC!
Have been to this park a few times and wandered over to say hi to the horses and then located the cache. Thanks
My one and only cache find for the day given the weather! Police setting up a sting operation on the main road next to the park. Introduced one of them to Geocaching!

Only one of us was home when the alert came through for this cache, but the other was not far away. Made a quick turn around and back out the door - and off to Taupaki Park. Several people at the playground and having picnics in the park, but no-one near GZ. Walked across the park and soon spotted the cache. On opening it up took a moment to realise that the log on the logsheet was in fact the CO stating the hidden date. So signed for the FTF . Thanks.
