I enjoyed the walk at this sunny day throu this park. Most of the caches could be found and sadly some were not aviable for me [xx(]
The logsheet was made of a quite funny paper, sadly my pen didn't liked it and at some it refused to write properly

Nice container this one. perfect size for the keen eyes of a 6 year old. Boys now have 3 finds each and dad has even bothered the scorers.

So, I found myself in the area today and was deciding on whether to go to the markets in the city with a friend or go caching. My friend ended up being too slow in deciding their movements so I ventured in this direction and by the time they told me they wanted to go to the markets I was close to these caches and I decided that this little collection of caches looked like they would be fun to do. So I ditched the markets and spent the afternoon following the 'short stroll'. Well, I'm not too sure on the short part of this. From the start, I thought it would be a little fun to follow the stroll according to the numerical order of the caches, the titles made it sound like a little bit of an adventure.
Number 5: In order to get to this one I needed to do a bit of crawling under some branches (the cache itself I didn't find too difficult to locate). Well, since I'm on the ground anyway, I may as well stop and have a brief rest.

Tiki's 1, 3 & 4 out for a stroll. This was the hardest difficulty level so far, and was found quickly by the youngest Tiki! Very impressed! TFTC.
out for a walk today to pick up this series. I didn't exactly do them in order however but I enjoyed the series.
find nice and quickly. there was a lot of magpies around with their babies however none swooping. TFTC

Quickly found but not what I originally expected until I got to GZ. My pen just wouldn't write on the log. Put the container straight in my pocket when I found it so I could try and sign the log. Returned cache or tried too until I found the magnet had fallen out of cache into my pocket, so pleased it didn't fall on the ground. TFTC
I went out for a 23km walk today. There were eight caches at my halfway point. Woo hoo.
This was my last cache of the day. It's a tricksy one. Not at all what I expected. Fumbled a little due to cold windy weathe, struggled to get the log out but satisfied to have competed this great trail. Thanks for the fabulous fun.

This got a little harder,
Like old cheese in the larder.
Saw a fence
Magnetic sense
This wasn't really harder!

Now onto the last one in the area for the day, as I needed to be getting myself moving for other plans. But still needed to make the find here and walk back to the car.
I spotted a few potential options here and soon was onto the right spot. Managed to find without to much trouble. Got my name on the log, just an OJ as my pen really did not seem to like this log and soon everything back in place and heading for the car.

Out visiting friends, on the south side of Brisbane, so picked up a few caches in the area.
A great little series, and an enjoyable walk for this time in the morning.
Signed some of the logs as TD where ever possible, as the logs were difficult to write on.
Many thanks for placing this cache, dawesy321, for us and others to find.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 12:20pm. It was a good walk up the hill and a quick find. How did we not find that cache last time. TFTC
Description should be a nano cache. This is the smallest cache I've seen yet. Was good to spot it, very easy given the clue.
Much easier than previous one luckily brought the right tools with me to sign log.tftc
Found with my fellow toughies today. The hint lead us to a quick find ., I spotted it, misssusan grabbed it since she was in the right spot. Tftc
Out caching with Remsjw, Lisylou, Misssusan and Jemillalucy. A nice quick find! TFTC!
After the fail with the last one this was quite easy. Straight to the hint, if there is one, with micros in the bush. I am not going to waste time looking in the wrong place if the hint will help. This one is much easier than the other nearby one.
This one was the quickest find of the lot today.

Briefly read logs along the way and as soon as I got near GZ I was pretty certain I knew where it would be. Boom! 2 easy ones, a dig with a piece of grass to get the log out and away we go.
NB. Just signed initials to save log space.

I noticed that there was a bunch of caches in this bit of bushland waiting to be found
And needed a relaxing stroll after a week in the chaos of suburbia, I headed here this morning to while away an hour or so
Off I wandered from Creek Road behind the fence lines and through someones 'illegally' extended backyard/junkyard [:o]
GZ was soon reached
The plane spotting opportunities of the parklands is a bonus too
I got me first really good look at an A380 as it climbed out of BNE
Anyhoo, the sight of the airborne behemoth distracted me from finding this devilishly small cache in the bushes
Find the cache I did

What a lovely day for a walk in the wetlands to mop up this series...
I arrived at GZ and my shiny new GPSr (yet to be named) pointed at the tree with about a zillion bitey ants Looked but did not see a cache and then scratched about in the dirt. Off I trudged to the other cache on my To Do list
Back here again and I tried another spot and there was the nano hidden IPS Whew! Now all I need to do is figure out why #5 and #6 appear to be out of numerical order? Maybe my OCD is playing up, eh?
Seems like the logbook shrunk in the wash so I fired off an sms to the CO Nice spot although it would have been more fun to hide the cache on the nearby boat
TFTC dawesy321! Sweet series! Looking forward to your next project.

Wow, that was a find to be proud of! Very sneaky, definitely the trickiest of the series! Thanks CO for the fun Sunday stroll.
Arghhh civilization in sight!
Endorse previous log... well I'll be buggered there it is. That's the final for this area. Have enjoyed a 2 hour stroll all that remains is returning to the start via the soggy wet grass path.
T...dawesy321 FTC's and for a well thought out and maintained series. The Minnippi parklands is an excellent area for Geocaching and this series only enhances the reputation!

Enjoyed finding this cache! TFTC Dawesy321. It is certainly a little bugger to find!
Came back, trusted the geotrail, and BAM! There it is. different hiding place and colour to the rest, but great hide, although i did get covered in cobblers pegs while looking around. Tftc
Came to this last one, but ran out of time before i had toleave for work. Ah well, i will have to go for a nice walk another time
I found this much more easily than the previous one, though I was still a little surprised to see this kind out here. TFTC where all is fine.
Out and about looking for a few caches today.
This little series seemed like a good place to start.
A nice easy walk around the mowed paths.
A tricky one but found after a quick search.
Thanks for the cache.

Snuck up and found this one quickly,it didn't take long then back for another quick look for six.Enjoyed the walk and the caches, hope to be back for the ones I missed. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.
Not too far to walk till my next stop. The shade of the nearby mango tree beckoned but the Gpsr reckoned elsewhere. At GZ, the possibilities were endless.
I referred to the previous finders logs. There was a lead. So I sat down and looked up. That didn't work the first time but it did on about the third try.
I have two of those containers at home - purchased from a pet store in Stockholm 5 years ago intended for a cache. Still waiting.

Tftc. This one was pretty easy once we got into it. Closer to the houses than the rest which meant we didn't dally as long with this one instead recovering and returning it just in time to see a dog followed by two muggles trot into view. Passing chat and they indicated we might see deer here! Recovered and returned with a slight chuckle at the many ftf claims on this one.
A final one on our walk for the morning, before an afternoon of shopping. A couple of possibilities where this one could have been placed, but eagle eyed me, spotted the little container. A nice completion of this series this morning. TFTC dawsey321
Two new caches in the series and I headed along the backyards to get to this one. That is a nice big wide path along there.
I arrived at GZ and it took me 10 minutes before I spotted the tiny thing.
Can't say I am a fan of this type of hide in the bush but it gave me another smilie.

Murphy's Law. 2 new publishings right in our backyard & we were at Caloundra. Bummer!
Having got back into town quite late after 2 busy days rounding up the Sunshine Coast mob (LOL ...) we rechecked those caches published today to find one found & this one sporting double DNFs.
Hmmm, the CO is obviously getting a bit sneakier with these ones. Decided to let sleeping dogs lie & have another look in the morning.
Eyes open, clothes on, coffee can wait! Off to GZ to see what the morning would reveal. Still no logs other than 2 DNFs so we're in with an honest chance here. It was apparent that there had been quite a bit of activity here last night as the long grass was all trampled & there were bits of freshly broken branch strewn about the area. It wasn't long before Geo-mamma came up with cache. Hmmm, that's a little strange? Checked description & D/T ratings & all were good. Co-ords were also spot on. OK, fired off an email & a few phone calls later it was confirmed we had scored a find.
This is what the game of geocaching is all about for us. Perseverance, persistence & knowing when NOT to give up. We won't give up on the hunt until ALL avenues are exhausted.
TFTC Dawesy321. Have enjoyed taking a few 'Short Strolls' with you. LOL ...

Find #2268 at 9.00pm joint ***FTF*** with Cantcachus2014 we are amending our DNF log due to information from another reliable finder , that the CO had forgotten to place a log sheet in the cache container, this was the cache that we found as mentioned in our DNF logs TFTC

So it turns out we actually were the ftf YAY TFTC
We had no luck with this one today ,may come back when there is a hint TFTC
Well us & GT54 had a very good search here for what we thought it may be, but no luck tonight. Found the little black decoy which was empty and knew with a D3 that this was too obvious so back it went and the search continued. Time to call off the search & we headed for the car.
