No Luck with this one. Had a good long look for this one but to no avail.
Plenty of branches cut down from the trees in this area and pink tape around trees ready for lopping.
Hopefully cache is still there but maybe the tree loppers got it.

3 October 2015 2:50pm (ish - I'm a little annoyed, but I don't have the time saved)
So, I found myself in the area today and was deciding on whether to go to the markets in the city with a friend or go caching. My friend ended up being too slow in deciding their movements so I ventured in this direction and by the time they told me they wanted to go to the markets I was close to these caches and I decided that this little collection of caches looked like they would be fun to do. So I ditched the markets and spent the afternoon following the 'short stroll'. Well, I'm not too sure on the short part of this. From the start, I thought it would be a little fun to follow the stroll according to the numerical order of the caches, the titles made it sound like a little bit of an adventure.
Number 6: A little backtracking I don't mind, well backtracking to get to this one. It's the backtracking it took until I finally unearthed this sneaky little hide that was driving me insane. I walked in, out, around, back and forth. I searched in, on, under and around everything. I expanded my search to a ridiculous degree. I searched again, in all the same spots I searched before. I sat and pondered. I searched again, this time feeling every possible thing I could think of. I sat again. This time I just happened to spy something - Oh my, it's the cache. Thank goodness - that's a very sneaky little hide that one. As I wrote my name in the log book I checked the time, and looked at the map....Grrr, now I'm kinda regretting following the numerical order of the 'short stroll' and wishing I had of followed a geographical order. Oh well, too late to give up now - onto number 7...

Tiki's 1, 3 & 4 out for a stroll. This was a killer! Difficulty rating doesn't really give a great indication ... if you miss it first up, good luck finding it! Again though, it was up to Tiki 4 just as we had given up and getting ready to move on to make the cry "Found it!" TFTC.
out for a walk today to pick up this series. I didn't exactly do them in order however but I enjoyed the series.
got to this one thinking I knew what I was looking for. after a while and not being able to find it I made a PAF... after a few pics sent and lots of messages confirmed it wasn't where it was supposed to b... after a little frustration I was kicking the dirt around a little loading the next cache into the GPS when something caught my eye. ooo... cache container. unfortunately it is no longer hanging. I left it hanging on a branch close to the base of the tree. there are a lot of recently broken branches off the trees (hopefully not from frustrated cachers)
was glad to find this one though so I didn't have one smilie sitting in the middle of the park...

This took a little while and just when I thought that I should surrender it popped up before my eyes. Got the log out and signed it, dropped the log container, found that, dropped the log found that and struggled to get it all together safely. TFTC
Wow. 4th time back and I finally found it. So weird that hadn't seen it previously. Like everyone says you'll kick yourself once you find it!
Hooray!!! Finally spotted it... Can't believe we looked past it so many times... Good hide, seems obvious once you spot it!
I went out for a 23km walk today. There were eight caches at my halfway point. Woo hoo.
You know exactly what you are looking for, yes you do. It's there, exactly as you thought though it's a little trickier than the rest. I had a look, turned around, looked from a different perspective and spied it. Once in hand I signed the log and realised I'd dropped the lid. Uh oh. Where on earth is it? Once recovered everything was put back in place for the next cacher to enjoy.

Ohhh! Nasty Nano in the bush! Took us 15 minutes to find this one, then another ten to get the log book out even with two sets of tweezers! Hah!

Found it! Really trust ur gps. It's within a matter of its location. Very hard to spot!
Well this one sent me around and around in circles a little. I was thinking that I knew what I was looking for after the last few finds, but well that was not exactly the case after all. But no way I was going to be leaving one little green mark here, so I got to looking a little closer at things. Eventually I managed to find myself in just the right spot and there it was. I got my name on the log and soon had the cache back in place.

Still can't find it... Determined not to let it beat us! Will wait till someone makes a find before we try again.. Hopefully another small hint will lead us in the right direction?
Like the easy walk and easy find. TFTC.

Out visiting friends, on the south side of Brisbane, so picked up a few caches in the area.
A great little series, and an enjoyable walk for this time in the morning.
Signed some of the logs as TD where ever possible, as the logs were difficult to write on.
Many thanks for placing this cache, dawesy321, for us and others to find.

Spent a good 15 mins or more at this one. definitely trust your GPS on this one, or give it time to settle. Otherwise you may be here for hours.
Found with my fellow toughies today. Misssusan spotted it but let us spot it. It was a little smaller and harder to spot than the others in this series so far. Signed in as the tough mothers. Tftc
Out caching with Remsjw, Lisylou, Misssusan and Jemillalucy. Quickly found by Misssusan. TFTC!
Tough Mothers almost missed it because it was obscured by one of us standing too close.
This one bugged me last time and it very nearly did it again. I arrived at the GZ and noted telltale signs of activity but nothing appeared. I wandered around and around and was getting close to my deadline for school pickup, so the pressure was on. With only a minute to spare, I shook down what seemed to me the most likely spot I hadn't really covered much and to my delight, spotted the little fellow at last. As I was signing, I got a phone call which I had to take, but while concentrating on that, managed to drop the cache lid. After my call which I was trying to conclude ASAP, I searched the ground and thankfully found the lid. Then I couldn't refind the cache! I've struggled with these in the past, and today I just couldn't find it again. After minutes of hysterical activity, it finally reappeared and I could replace it all and be away at speed. TFTC which is definitely one for the fluky finder!
Absolutely no luck with this one. I had an idea of what I was looking for and the elevation at which it might be. Sadly with co-ordinates that wanted me in an open area it left an awful lot of places to look.
I had a bit of a scout around, but I think luck needs to be with you here so that you are looking in the right place.

I had heard a few stories about this one. Didn't think i was going to like this one. Linden/6 says to me "good luck with this one, I'll give you $10 if you find it", Completely doubting my skill ;P so I jog up to GZ and within seconds I have cache in hand... And I'm up 10 bucks. Go me

Everything in the previous logs said this was not easy and it's not. Well hidden, tiny and well camo'd. I'm not sure if the wind was making it harder or was the reason that I found it when I was standing in front of it having a think.
Thanks for an enjoyable walk through these parklands. I wonder how your caches will be once the golf course goes in.

Me short stroll was getting longer
Early morning and the dew was thick on the ground
With wet boots, I made it to GZ and began poking around.
Hmmm !! Tough to find is this one !! [:o]
"Use the force If" !!
I realised I was looking at the wrong place, the ground was where I should be looking
The ground contained clues that would reveal the caches hiding place [:o]
I stood in the 'geospot', looked up and .... tada ... a cache
Tiny isn't it

Could not get log out but a good hide. Nearly gave up but for last ditch effort
What a lovely day for a walk in the wetlands to mop up this series...
I arrived at GZ and stumbled about for a while trying to spot the wee beastie. There was a cracked (you know what I mean?) tree nearby and I even checked there. Round and round I went peering at the shrubbery and eventually the nasty wee nano slid into view
Def a tweezers jobbie here and the broken finger didn't help
Now to hunt down the remaining cache on this trail.
TFTC dawesy321!

Great challenge! Recommend coming equipped with tweezers or similar to extract log.
This one put us in our place!
A thorough search revealed nothing. How difficult can it be after the last 4?
A forensic search was called for, this finally revealed the cache. What has #5 in store for us?

A great series. Happy to get to visit again to find this one. Managed to get covered in cobblers pegs at number 4 although I didn't really need to - it was found where expected but summer growth was a good disguise. Ants up the arm at number 5. No luck here and need to get the kids. A beautiful peaceful area in the middle of suburbia.

Arrived here not knowing what I was looking for or if it's high or low,so just start looking and as usual darkness is looming. After about half an hour reading and rereading log ins,it's getting close to time to call it a day,it's been dark for twenty minutes, the mossies are hovering around although I was well protected, almost bathed in repellent, looking, looking, then bingo, you little beauty, got you.The only problem now is I've found them all,and I've really enjoyed this series,so I have to give this one a favorite point and for the series and thanks for placing them and maintaining them.
Wow that was tiny. Dont know how i spotted it. The log was hard to retrieve, but i evebtually got it done. Tftc
Looked and looked but could not find today. Will have to come back to this lovely reserve another time.
Nope, too hard for me after quite a search. Several bugs were nearly killed as part of the elimination process! "No hints until FTF." Not to worry, I'll be back some day.
Out and about looking for a few caches today.
This little series seemed like a good place to start.
A nice easy walk around the mowed paths.
After a lot of looking here and looking there I headed to the logs.
The logs suggested that it was missing, log only, but after phoning a friend I found the cache in place with a log.
The CO might want to log an 'Owner Maintenance' to clear the 'Needs Maintenance' log.
Thanks for the cache.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 10:13am. That took a long time to find and I can understand why some people can't see it; it is very small but it is there. It didn't contain a log sheet though so we tore up some paper and put it in the cache so it is good to go. TFTC
Oops,in my favour though it was completely pitch dark on my arrival,so was looking by torch light the whole time.TFTC
Last one for the morning. THe path to gz was obvious as was the cache. Now it isn't.

DNF. Seems that the container has gone missing but not been replaced. shame as we have had such good fun finding this series a clean sweep would have been nice. Needs some tlc but otherwise a fantastic series. Tftc. We will come back and finish it once replaced.
Will find/replace cache container tomorrow afternoon ( 21/1). For anyone who arrives at GZ without seeing this note the log is still at GZ.
Happy caching!
Happy caching!
This one was a tricky little devil to find. The GZ was abounding on the GPS. Had me at the grass, in the centre of the grassy area. I was searching everywhere within a 10 metre radius, up to the barb wire out back. Geodaughter (who is not a cacher) sat down. Are you sure your not sat on it? No Mum! She wanted to go, looked up from where she was sitting and "I found it". What a good set of eyes she has! With a bit of a stretch I retrieved the container. Oh my - so tiny! Managed to scrawl a NJ and very pleased to find this. TFTC dawesy321
Just what I love. Finding nanos in the bush. When you have time limits for cache they always seem to take longer than the time that you have available to locate.
I spent 15 minutes looking and then made a PAF call and was given a hint and then it took me another 15 minutes before I spotted it. I then juggled the container, GPS, log and pen and managed to drop the container. I spent another 15 minutes trying to locate the container but had to give up as I had run well past my time.
Sorry, but the CO will have to either find the one I dropped or replace the container. I have emailed the CO as to where I left the log.

After scoring a FTF on A Short Stroll 5 we decided to try for a find on this cache while we were here.
Having done the other 5 in this series we were confident that the co-ords & D/T ratings would be pretty good. This proved to be the case despite a little co-ord bounce. However, we took the time to let things settle & every time we were led back to true GZ.
Difficulty (2.5) fell well within the range prescribed on Geocaching .com .
2 - Average. The average cache hunter would be able to find this in less than 30 minutes of hunt.
3 - Challenging. An experienced cache hunter will find this challenging, and it could take up a good portion of an afternoon.
As did Terrain (1.5).
1 - Handicapped accessible. (Terrain is likely to be paved, is relatively flat, and less than a 1/2 mile hike is required.)
2 - Suitable for small children. (Terrain is generally along marked trails, there are no steep elevation changes or heavy overgrowth. Less than a 2 mile hike required.)
This one had us searching about for a while but in the end we came up with this sneaky little blighter!
So glad we had found the cache as it was really starting to warm up.
Well done Dawesy321 on another fine cache!

**FTF** Joint FTF with Gullivers Travels54. Saw these were unfound so we headed off to see how we went. Took a bit to find this one as the terrain was throwing us off. Definately not a T1.5 but we got fingers on you anyway. Coords placed us on a grassed area opening up several possabilities. Hmmm I've heard about these before, cool idea, clever. Never found one yet till tonight. Tftc & Tftftf dawesy321
