Given permission to log the cache by the CO after it turned out it had been muggled. Slightly disappointing as we came prepared with the necessary equipment but there was no cache or housing to be seen. Thanks injuryman nonetheless. Shame to see this one archived but I’m sure there’ll be something just as good to replace it soon!

The bracket holding the cache has been forcibly torn off, probably because somebody didn't bring any water and couldn't stand the idea of not getting one cache. So now the option is yours. You can choose to do it with water as originally intended, or you can turn the tube upside down. I won't be fixing it - Up to you. Although it looks like there was already both of these options...

Sounds like repairs are needed. Log is still there, so welcome to find at the moment still. I will aim to complete maintenance by 24/09
Nice puzzle but no need bring 3L, there is little damage as easy pull out… could be maintance it.. signed it with good dry.. TFTM
Having read the description I was confident with what I had brought. Rolled up last week but unfortunately fell well short. Took note and returned today for a quick and easy. Signed and replaced as the sun set, nearby muggles preparing dinner (you can see them clearly through their window). TNLNSL TFTC
I brought sufficient water with me today, and glad I worked quickly - there's only a short window to retrieve the cache before it descends out of reach again. Log's in nice, dry condition.
This was lots of fun - thanks, injuryman, and a favourite from me!

Certainly soaked up some water today - needed a bit more tban suggested. Managed to successfully extricate though and happy to collect today while visiting some friends in the area. Tftc
Yay got it! Took two attempts though because of friendly neighbourhood spider haha
#1000 find.
Decided to make this one a family find with DustyEartha and Lacelot. We all loved this hide.

I needed/ wanted a mystery cache today and had saved this one for when I had someone to help. Pa generously agreed to be the water carrier and pourer so that I could have two hands ready for the grab.
We identified the cache from the parking coordinates and so it was on for the deed. It all worked extremely well though I doubt that I could have done it by myself.

This was a fun find! Parked nearby and brought a friend to help me carry the water. Cache is dry with room.
What an awesome cache! Had our 10L Jerry can in hand and spotted GZ from a distance. A great cache for our 300th find! Definitely a favourite from us! Thanks for this one injuryman!
Well that was fun. Make sure you bring enough water - I had to race back to my car for my water bottle.
Condition Report:. Log book was soaking wet
Log Status:. New log sheets - double bagged
Thanks for hiding this cache KingPin4

The lure of a CITO today was push enough for fitzy_1965 and I to head back into Canberra for more caches. And what a glorious day to be out caching!
After the CITO we cached our way around North-West Canberra. Love different cache hides so happy to go grab this one. Had the required tool to access the cache but should have read the previous finds better before getting to the cache. Had a replacement bag but not paper. The paper is totally soaked so was unable to sign. Can provide a photo of my find if the CO requires.

been eyeing this one off for a while, made the trek out today and it was definitely worth it, a very cool hide for sure. TFTC!!
Made a bit of a meal of this initially and had to make my way to the lake for resupplies. After taking a bit more care this time around, I soon had cih. TFTC injuryman
From trying four caches today, this was my only find, so thank you for a cache that's actually there and doable! I came prepared with about 5 litres of water, and that was plenty. Lucky I used it on the right thing! There seems to be quite a few of these caches out there, but I've only done a couple of them previously.
TNLN - thanks injuryman!

I have been eyeing off this cache for awhile, and today was the perfect opportunity for a cache. A three litre milk container (full of water of course) was just what we needed - though we nearly had to go back for more! Krispystrips managed to make the grab in the Knick of time and the cache was safely in hand. Thanks for the but if extra fun and the effort invested in making the cache! A fav from me. Thanks for the cache.
Lots of fun with quick hands needed another great caching adventure with Nibletricecakes
Out for the second day of our Canberra blitz picking up puzzle caches that have been worked out for quite some time - some of them so long ago they've even been forgotten by this time. Anyway, this go around we flitted from suburb to suburb picking up park 'n grabs (or very nearly so) clustered around the northern end of the ACT. By no means a power trail as most were scattered here and there higgledy piggledy which turned into a slow moving day in terms of overall numbers but we were thorough and painstaking enough so that at the end of the long day we still managed to scratch our way past the sixty-cache threshold, which was about ten better than we'd hoped to do. A few finds turned out more challenging than we wanted but overall everything was found in short order and without major difficulty. Well done to the CO's on that score. Apologies for the copy n' paste logs - most puzzles deserve a few more words than this - but gathering in a couple hundred puzzles in a short span of time amounts very much to binging the area leaving little time to reflect on what brought us here. Not to worry, tho, everything has been well worth the effort, and will bring us back several more days before we're done. TFTC.
Another day spent ticking off solved Mystery caches in Canberra with 154Crows. It's been very rewarding to convert hours of puzzle solving into finds. This time around, we tackled the NW section of the ACT. Again, we had another big day - 61 Mystery caches (10% of remaining) with 0 DNF's!! Thanks to all CO's for their puzzles and hides (apologies for the generic logs).
Fun gadget cache! Thanks Injuryman

Wow - I have been putting off this cache for years to the point where it was now one of my very last caches in Belconnen! I have even been to GZ before to sus it out, but every time I am caching around here I am either too forgetful or lazy to bring 3 litres of water with me! It's a large amount, and I quite like to savour my drinking water!
So today I came very prepared, brought 4 litres of water with me just for the task and got to work! I worked out the most efficient way to do it, and on my first go I had the CIH! Woohooo
Thanks KingPin4 for the cache!

This sounded fun and we came well prepared with lots of water. I had seen such a cache in Germany a couple times but not around here yet. these are always a lot of fun Dino will give the point as I am out. Very nice and surprised that the container is so watertight.
Thank you injuryman for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found 13:49 28/10/18 on a warm day with TheTrueCornDogs, Simber15 and Aussiefighter71. This was a fun cache to make work. Thank you KingPin4 for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Sumbloke suggested we do some caching today (21/10) given it was a lovely day. Decided to buy some food and have a picnic nearby. Love to ingenuity of this cache and concur with sumbloke that this cache deserves a FP. Tftc!

Jazzy3008 and I went out to find a couple of caches and have a picnic lunch today, since it was a nice day (especially after how wet yesterday was).
I'd had a look online for caches in the area that neither of us had found. I had a look at this cache and thought it looked quite interesting, so we headed out here. I brought the requisite supplies and we quickly found the cache. We both liked the design of this cache and I'm giving it another FP.
As the previous finder noted, the log sheet is pretty wet. I think it needs to be replaced with a fresh ziplock bag.

We had water courtesy of the Cotter Dam reserve and so were prepared for what we would find. We have seen similar caches before but nowhere near as big as this one! Great fun - thanks.
Picked up some water on the way back from Tidbinbilla and so were ready for the challenge. The GPS wove through so many streets to get here I was praying it would not quit and leave us in a strange place with no real idea of how we got here. Duties done at GZ we tried to sign the VERY wet log sheet - you will find a date and A and B there somewhere. Thanks for the fun cache.
While visiting the area today we stopped by and had a go at this one. We had an idea of what was needed to find this so we came appropriately prepared. Once at GZ we did what was required and caught ourselves the cache.

Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink. Log damp so dried out completely before signing and replacing. Loved the cache. Favourite Point from me!
Took 4 litres of water as knew I would drink some. Yes you have to be quick. Great concept TFTC injuryman.
Yay! We hit #1000. I picked this one for the milestone because I knew this one would be best done as teamwork. All of Team GLISS! were there for this one. Thanks for the creative placement.
out to day for a cache so got this one had all the stuff we needed. cool cache this was fun TFTC
Goldenwattle and I came prepared with plenty of water and fortunately some waterproof paper to replace the log.
The system worked well.
Unfortunately the paper logs were just mush. We will try to dry them out and send photographs to the CO.
I happened to have some suitable waterproof paper which we labelled and signed. It still needs people to use a waterproof writing instrument!
I am awarding this one a favourite for the simple ingenuity of the cache design.[^][^][^]

That was fun ! I found this with Decrypter. The logs were a sodden lumpy mess, so we dried out the cache and plastic bag and added a new waterproof log. It will no doubt get wet again, but we hope this log will prevail better. TFTC injuryman.
Log sheet saturated so couldn't sign but brilliant cache! Very unique.

After a morning of grabbing caches around the Inner North, I messaged Aquilus1 & dty73 to see if they wanted to go out and grab a few caches. A plan was made and off we went.
I had been looking at this one the other day and was keen to give it a go so with Aquilus1 and dty73 with me we had a pretty good idea what this was going to be. Yep as expected. Cache was in hand shortly there after. The logbook was wet as is to be expected given the nature of this cache. After replacing the log with a temporary log (a page from one of our notebooks) we put the cache back and headed off to Curtin

Aquilus1, DRT and I headed here to complete this challenge. DRT was prepared and ready to go when we got together. A quick, easy retrieval once at GZ, however log saturated, but the cache container isn't really made for these types of conditions. TFTC injuryman!!!
A plan came together this afternoon and with dty73 and DRT we headed off. DRT was well prepared and we soon had the cache retrieved. Unfortunately log was mushy and unable to sign so a temporary sheet was put in place until it can be replaced. Still, I do love a cache with thought and effort and a fun retrieve this afternoon. Thanks for the cache injuryman!
With a day off it was time to visit a few local recently solved puzzle caches. It was pretty hot out in the sun but apart from grass seeds at all of them it was a fun afternoon caching. The cache here was quite wet despite the heat.
Thanks.

I came prepared for this one and soon had the cache in hand. The log was quite wet but I did manage to leave my mark. I suggest a new (preferably waterproof) log sheet. TFTC.

Very cool hiding spot. Love it!
The log is sogging wet and has no bag stated in previous posts. Screws on bottom hinge has come out and i had no supplies, lucky enough i live close by so i will take my screwdriver, a new zip lock bag & new log paper and will add something fun for hopeful Geokids. Unfortunately my own Geokids were really disappointed with this one so i will spruce it up to encourage others to do the same.

More than one way to float a boat . Log is saturated so added a piece of paper but given there's a hole in the bag I don't think that will last long. Thanks injuryman
I have done a few of this style of cache and had all the right gear with me. The cache container practically leapt out at me (thankfully) and made for an easy retrieval. Unfortunately the log sheet is soaking wet - not sure if from the previous find or from my efforts, but it is in need of some further thought/action to keep it dry. TFTC
Went for a little walk today with may_45 to take her to her first few caches

Well, half maintained. Ii brought everything I needed to the cache, except the required water. So the rusty cache is currently still there, but the screws have been fixed.
Got to this one todday with Just a cacher and the item is in need of some maintaince. Managered to get the log TFTC
Out with Mr_Roo. This one is badly damaged, with about 3 screws in total, log soggy and metal bits starting to rust. Mr_Roo managed to sign - not sure how legible it is.
I tried to "find" this on my way home last night - took required water, did the logical thing with it ... but if there was a boat in there it stayed well and truly sunk ... was starting to get dark when I arrived, and was a bit hard to see much with torch shining through the water I had poured in, but it looks like it may be either firmly stuck in the bottom, or possibly what I could see was the bottom and the boat is missing? ... whole thingy is a bit loose too - may need some bigger/longer screws?
If it is still daylight when I head home later I might drop by and have another look ... and if I can't "find" it I will just have to wait until it is fixed, and go have another look for another mystery cache sort of nearby, that I solved, but could not find in a hurry one day ages ago - I think I needed to find a mystery on a particular day for a Geocaching souvenir - I was planning to find this as my mystery cache for the road trip souvenirs, which I have kind of left until almost the last minute - lol)
btw - this is a brilliant idea for a cache (just needs a bit of tweaking/fixing to make it work properly again

Ok ... Went to get this one after work yesterday, had plenty of water, but no floating of any boat was happening (as I explained in my "needs Maintenance" log ... I could see something down under the water, but it stayed down there even when the water level was way above it) ... so ... Because I really do like the idea of this cache, (and wanted to find it for a road trip souvenir I came back this way again on my way home this evening, but this time - seeing I wanted to catch this "fish" even if the boat would't float - I brought some "fishing gear" ... which hooked a nice catch ... er ... cache - lol
It didn't seem to be stuck ... Just didn't float up like it should have yesterday ... I didn't have a bucket of water to check, but I am guessing it has lost some buoyancy? ... or maybe it is so close to neutral buoyancy that if it is waterlogged from rain (or a recent find then that is enough to make it not quite floaty enough ... (Highly technical scientific terms there
Log was slightly damp, but my pen wrote on it ok
TFTC ... was kind of fun carrying a 3l plastic milk carton of water with me and using it to "find" a cache ... even if it didn't quite work like it was meant to
And the ... er ... Camo ... ? ... LOL - perfect

Great cache!! (The hardest part was finding containers to carry the required water to GZ). A favourite from us. Thanks for the fun cache.
Easily made the find. This was an interesting way of geocaching. However the log paper is very damp and falling apart. Maybe some better waterproofing is needed? TFTC
This one needs a little TLC, we took the required equipment but it wasn't needed.
The log will need to be replaced as it was very damp, but we were able to sign it okay.

Today was going to be a very busy day for me with a double shift lined up. I decided to get up early and make an early morning cache run before work. I decided to come out and give this one a crack.
On arrival, it was still dark and was rather chilly. On went the torch and I followed the GPSr to said location. Once there, I noticed something that looked "cachey" and had a closer look with the torch. Yep that's it alright. The CO may want to pay this one some attention as the attachments are very loose (bottom one is not even attached, just hanging there). Didn't take too much to have the cache in hand.
The log sheet was damp and tearing, however I was able to sign the log.
Thanks for the interesting cache injuryman

This was a bit of fun, we must have looked pretty strange walking over with milk containers filled with water...luckily we had the cover of darkness and we quickly extracted the cache. The things you do in this hobby sometimes. Have done similar caches and this one was executed pretty well we must say, the logbook was still a little damp, maybe need a few extra drainage holes to get rid of the water faster might help...great cache injuryman!
A fav from me for ingenuity but I had problems too, the log is also soaked thanks to the rain though, I didnt have to use as much water :p
Found 10:09 pm with LuckyL10n. We worked the puzzle and brought the goods. The goods didn't deliver immediately but with some perseverance we came up with the cache. The log was signed and replaced and cache replaced as found. At first we thought it wasn't there given the lack of sign of it. Perhaps the bouyancy is no longer as effective. We left and were on our way home when I recalled I had left some of our tools behind. I hope we can be forgiven as we didn't return perhaps someone can use what was left there. Thanks for the cache.
#3037 - 20:10; I was out and about with MrDamage for our nightly daily. We had decided this one would be our goal for tonight, so with MrD lugging the required assistance we headed to GZ. Did a short tour of the suburb before we found the right 'place' and parked the geomobile for the short walk to GZ. Encountered a similar problem to previous finders and just couldn't float our boat despite our best efforts. Found another way to retrieve the cache and had a dampish log signed. Reassembled things as they should be, but might need some TLC from the CO to get things functioning as intended. TFTC injuryman
Found this with Shadow! on Sunday 8 Feb - we bought the necessary equipment but the cache did not appear. At first we thought the cache was gone but then we realised it was just stuck - either the method of retrieval is too big, not strong enough or the bottom of the hide is too sticky, either way it looks like it needs maintenance again. The hide was also suffering detachment disorder so we fixed that too. Found logs will follow later today - we just wanted to get this NM log in the system.
