###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Sadly my friend and I failed to find this one ... oh well a return trip will just have to suffice ..cheers
After spending the day at the You Yangs today with wyndham kinders- a walk on country day, we did a closer park and grab before returning home
Found it although cache is starting to show ageing, container rusting thru
Found on 30 Jun 2019 at 9:23 am.
We have been meaning to come to the You Yangs park for some time so we had a fair few hours to today so Fleabag- and I decided to concentrate on the main loop and the 100's & 1,000's challenge cache but when we arrived the whole road was closed off due to yesterday's heavy rain. Oh well, we headed off for some different ones since I have never been in this area and there were plenty of other caches to look for.
After hour plans had changed we decided to do this nice little loop of caches and a bonus for Fleabag was that there were a few regular size container which he was trying to build his count up on. No problems on any of the finds except for a few minutes at the terrain 3 one.
Thanks suehut for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Out caching with thomo31, thought we’d try our lock after a search had cache in hand. TFTC
Found with teamashy. Signal a bit jumpy but got there in the end. Container rusty and brittle. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Introducing my cousin to caching. Hops is a very good problem solver and I thought this would be right up her alley. I was right. She is quickly getting the hang of it. She will be better than me at it soon. I used to make puzzles and treasure hunts for her when she was a kid. Think this will be better for her as she’s a teenager now and his is more challenging! We spotted a kangaroo and a Joey on the way back from this one.
This was my last free weekend day whilst Tarbit was holidaying overseas and so a plan was hatched to tackle some caches in the You Yangs with SirJ-Oz. As per usual I did the driving and he did the navigating. Once we realised the Circle Drive was closed to vehicles we altered our original plans and headed to the You Yangs Views series. This was just a small diversion along the way and took a fair bit of searching. In the end I checked a few previous logs and eventually spotted the tricky find in a spot where I had previously skimmed over. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache suehut. A nice view from here of some kangaroos.
Find #4108. Found @ 11:06 with Annoying Tarbit
The plan for today was to visit the You Yangs and surrounds with Annoying Tarbit, and have a day of caching. We didn't count on the Great Circle Drive being closed, so ended up doing (according to my fitbit) almost 20kms of walking for the day. It was a long day with AT collecting me at 8am and I got home again about 10pm.
We stopped here to have a go at making the find. It took us a while, and I was completely in the wrong mind-set so looking in the wrong places. Annoying Tarbit made the find.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

It was the last day of geo husband's Christmas new year leave so we decided to head to the zoo for a lovely family day out together. But so did the rest of Melbourne.
So with a lunch packed and ready for an adventure we decided to change plans and head out geocaching. We drive past the You Yangs on our way to the western districts several times a year, and have never stopped there. (I went for an event a couple of years ago and had been as a child).
It took a while and some lateral thinking and searching but we found it.

We came, we saw, we failed to find. Having found pretty much every type of container and every hide method that geocaching seems to offer (exaggeration but, you know) I thought I could think outside the box enough and find this one without too much difficulty.
Read the previous logs, read the hint, ignored the objects nearby, decided to look in the objects nearby. No joy, though, even with 2 people looking on separate occasions.
TFTC anyway.

Grabbed this one after completing a targeted cache nearby. Noted previous logs and trusted GPS resulting in a quick find. Container as nice patina and certainly isnt weatherproof. A new log bag would probably cover it (pun unintended). TFTC.
Sure is trickey to find but trust your GPS and hint. Geopartner found accidentally during our hunt. TFTC
Definitely a little tricky although follow the clues and extend your search about a metre or two beyond what an iPhone might tell you, and it in the end was pretty obvious - great cache, needs some love.
A weekend away with FWBs. This is a generic log to help me catch up with the long overdue logging of my found caches. Please note that each cache and location can be remembered but due to time restraints unable to personalize each log. The date logged may also differ to day found. Thank you for sharing this location for us.
JABs.

After 2 other tries, I finally brought M back to look for this one and, true to form, he found it in minutes. "Trust the GPS" he says! Thanks
No joy here. Couldn’t find the cache after a decent search. Also list the end of a trekking pole
No luck for me today. Searched for quite a while bit just couldn't spot it. A beautiful area though.
Took a bit of finding. A more thorough search of where I initially thought it would be revealed the cache.

Had a picnic close by and went for a walk to locate this one finally. TFTC and Happy New Year!
#2829 After checking a few likely locations and failing to locate the cache, we then studied the cache notes, hint and previous logs. We then spent another good 10 minutes without turning up the cache. Hmmm! Decided to go with where the GPSr was pointing and started to check the area thoroughly and finally the nasty tricky hide was uncovered . TFTC suehut
Spent way too long searching for this one but found it in the end. As others have reported the container is starting to fall apart.
Thanks suehut

Tricky little hide. I had to be weary of bees and snakes, and finally found it after six or seven minutes of searching and logical thinking. TFTC
Out with au.fait, we searched for quite a while, read the previous logs, and kept searching. About to give up, we had one final look where co-ords had us, and were rewarded with a smile. Thanks suehut
Made this harder than need be as the track veered in a wrong direction so we headed straight through the bush and rocks and finally arriving at GZ only to find the track very close by. An extensive search failed to reveal the cache and about to abandon the search when one more place was rechecked to reveal the prize TFTC suehut
Spent quite a bit of time looking for this one. My gps was leading me all over the place. Particulary to near a tree and some rocks. However it took a hint from a previous finder to finally get my hands on this sneaky cache. It was in an area i had looked at previously but obviously not thorough enough.

On our day out to the You Yangs and doing a little bit of caching while enjoying the place. No luck with this one. Looked for ages.
Out for a day of caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja at the You Yangs. This one was the third one for the day. We had no joy i didn't think i could walk back up the hill so Angelique Anja and i went all thevway back to the lower road.
Find #1062
1st time in the You Yangs so after a short walk nearby we drove around the internal roads to earn a few more smileys. TFTC

After a fairly quick find at number one, we searched in vain for quite a while here.
Eventually resorted to a PAF from a previous finder.
Cache located within seconds - as I was almost standing on it, having just looked right there for it.

We were at the picnic ground for the Christmas BBQ and with the festivities drawing to a close it was suggested that we go for a walk and look for this mini series of caches. Off we went in quite a good sized group for a pleasant walk around the area chatting our heads off along the way.
All the caches were relatively quick finds with the youngest members of the group really getting into the hunt.
Thanks suehut for placing these caches for us to find.

Found while caching around the picnic area this afternoon, this one was soon found while caching as a group assault. Thanks suehut for the hide and for the walk around the area.
In Geelong for the Christmas Events and some caching with Happy pants, Happy Feet 1 & Omegaman1971. We signed logs as DRAG Team.
We found this one following the Christmas BBQ Lunch Event. With 4 of us searching, it still took a while to find. We had already searched there, but obviously didn't look hard enough. TFTC suehut.

Found as part of a group assault while at the event today. We ould have struggled with this one but happily it had been part of a mass hint!
Here to attend the Christmas events with Happy pants, omegaman1971 and Yoshi Warriors, signing as DRAG Team. This took a while before this sneaky hide was revealed.
Thanks suehut for putting on the event.

With four events today in Geelong (of which I could make it to three), why not head down this way for the day. We met the previous finders of this cache at the last one we did. They found it with some difficulty, and passed on a clue to the group I was in. But while I missed it, the same clue had been given out at the nearby event, and relayed to me, so I already knew what to look for. With that in mind, it was a quick find. Without the clue, I imagine it would have take much longer.
My thanks to suehut for the cache.

At the You Yangs today for the lunchtime Christmas event so naturally I did a few caches too! Attempted this one with OzHockeyChick and again we struggled. Overthinking the hint etc. After 10mins we opted for the phone a friend option! Nicely done -tricky hide. Many thanks
Unfortunately, I was not successful in finding that cache box here. I did not have too much time, as Enryque was running the orienteering course and one of my kids were waiting for me in the car. As I did not manage to find the cache quickly, I dropped the search and rather went back with the little one to see what the big one was doing... ah well... [B)]
Definitely not in the rocks or outside of them. Watch your step indeed. Vegetation.
This took a lot longer than it ever should have!! Now I understand the hint about watch your step, very sneaky
OMGosh.... We made this so much harder than what it really was, with two phones dead, one on back up battery, we continued to walk around in circles.... Emmi2302 managed to find this one! Good one. TFTC
Cache lid is broken and contents are wet. Didn't bring a pen so couldn't sign log.

BettyBoo3747 and I sat down last night and solved the series called: Puzzle Me Easy - sounded like something we could manage. So of course today we went to collect them all.
We also picked up a few outstanding caches, and a nice little series in the You Yangs.
Made it home before it rained.
After grabbing the first one quickly, we almost came to a complete stop here.
Not because the co-ords were not good (they were), but because we had a preconceived idea about what it might be.
We didn't step on it, but we did eventually spot it.
Thanks, Robmc.

#10817. Robmc and I solved the Puzzle Me Easy Series so we decided we should go down to get them today. It was a good day, with me finding almost as many caches as I did for the whole of August. I gathered smilies for the 16 caches in the series and also logged another 14 for the day, one being a Challenge that has been completed since the beginning of the year. That was satisfying.
We almost gave up on this one. Spent a long time looking in all sorts of places and under all sorts of things. I was actually walking away when Rob managed to find it. A nasty little hide here. None of the others caused us a problem. There are certainly a lot of beautifully scenic places on these lower slopes.
Thanks suehut

Took quite a while with some helpers. Ended up finding by accident. Great hide.
Don't try and screw the lid off! It will just lift off.
