Found with cache owner CaligulaNZ, as he was collecting the cache container prior to archiving this beautiful piece of street art, due to new guidelines.

Archived due to recent new guidelines concerning Utility Boxes. When placed these BB caches did have Chorus permission - but 4 or 5 years on who knows if the original permission-provider is still with the company. Thanks to everyone who visited and enjoyed the fantastic art. Passing by today, so removed the cache container, and now to archive. The last remaining act is to add a photo of the Box art that was originally omitted (to help increase the pleasure of catching sight of the art yourself).
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
Great what a beautuful bird and great artist it was an easy find my geo.colleg and I spoted it at the same time together..Thank you for sharing this beauty with us ..from Swiss guy!
A quick easy find on a tour around Masterton. However, as the cache had been replaced with the lid up, it was full of water and the log was mush. We replaced the log with a small waterproof sheet. TFTC
Nice painting of the kingfisher and cache was quickly grabbed and signed. Thanks CO for the cache.
After work today, I thought that I would take some time to grab a cache or two. That is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. I am currently trying to maintain a daily geo-streak which is turning out to be a lot harder than it sounds. Anyway, once I parked as close as I could I made my way to GZ on foot. However, once I was there... and once my GPS settled, I made a relatively quick find. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. So thank you CaligulaNZ for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC!
#725. GB Leader and I have spent today doing more caching, starting in Featherston, then north to Masterton and Pukaha Mt Bruce. Final tally for the day: 9 finds
Nice easy BB box arty cache. Thanks CaligulaNZ.

A quick find and a good cache.Dropped by here while in town for the CITO event.Extracted it with stealth, wrote the log and re-concealed carefully.TFTC!
On a drive up to Napier today, with plenty of time to stop for caches on the way. Log was soggy and lid wouldn't stay shut, so added more paper and a piece of tape. TFTC
I had done the other caches in the series but hadn't got to this part of Masterton till today.
As usual with the BB series a quick easy find.
Lid is a bit rusty and some dampness has got into the cache, nothing major at this stage and I was able to sign the log OK.
TFTC.

Over in Masterton to see the hot air balloon night glow and, as we need a few more points to get the remaining souvenirs in the Planetary Pursuit series, this was a good opportunity to grab a couple of caches. Nice and quiet here this evening and no problems making the find. The log was a little damp and delicate but we were still able to sign it. Thanks CaligulaNZ.
I pulled up to this cache and I only needed to wait for a couple of cars to go by for an opening to reach for this one. I was pleasantly surprised to find the cache in the first place I looked.
Replaced as found with no cars about.
Cool artwork!

Nice and easy find on a nice walk around town. Could see it from a distance, but if i hadn't known it was around there would have never saw it. TFTC!
Very very busy corner but managed to retrieve, sign and replace without much ado.
Cheers

Well me hearties, we went on a raid into the Wairarapa today accompanied by one of our crew, haydn.seek. After the recent stormy weather we had plain sailing, apart from a chilly wind off the snow-topped ranges. We struck gold at all but the first location, so we be mighty good pirates, arrrgh!
Another quick raid and the cache located. This is a colourful box, but pirates prefer parrots, of course! TFTC

TFTC. The rookie with us spotted this within seconds of getting to GZ (she's getting a bit good at this game...) all in good order.
Another day in Wairarapa on gravel back roads to find solved puzzles and some other caches around Masterton. Thanks CaligulaNZ for the cache.
Just 2 caches short of another milestone, 900 finds, and the last day of our latest holiday in Barnaby. We had stopped in Opaki to see family and Mrs B suggested I headed into town to get some diesel in the tank and that I might as well find the last 2 required caches while I was out. So after getting the diesel I looked in the Garmin to see what there was still unfound nearby. This one was on the way back to Opaki and I'm familiar with CO's BB series caches, so I knew it would be an easy find so long as there were no muggles about. Parked Barnaby opposite, headed across the road, took a quick peek and checked for muggles, then retrieved the cache. After signing the log I had to spend a minute hanging about waiting for traffic to pass until the coast was clear again to return the cache to its hiding place.
Thanks for another BB cache find to put 'under my belt' CaligulaNZ.

Day # 13 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Made it from far and rainy South to the North Island. Today’s sunny and pleasant tour [^] took me further up north from Masterton to beautiful Ohakune [:X], close to Tongariro National Park .
Believe it or not : This is my third visit to this scenic area of the central North Island - but today was the first time I was able to see ‘HIM’: Mount Ruapehu [^].
During my last visits he had shyly hidden behind clouds [B)], mist and rain .
But today I could see him in full beauty [8]. How lucky I am !
Of course there were some cool treasures hidden along the route, that I loved to pick up .
Ended up with 23 finds , including two great earth-caches [^], a challenge and a multi-cache . Cool!
I take this cute little box [^] as a nice souvenir from Massterton!
Hey - owners on the way up north - you have cool caches [^] !
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining .
Cheers from Germany

Day 14 of our North Is trip, time to leave sunny Hawke's Bay (now that the sun is shining ) and head for Wellington.
Usually we take the heavy traffic by pass but today we decided to get some petrol there and, of course, find a couple of caches. Good to see the Masterton boxes being beautified too. Nice to find another BB cache - thanks Caligula. TFTC.

#13874. We've found a few caches on painted cabinets in the Hutt; good to see they are east of the divide as well. TFTC.
Today we drove from Upper Hutt to Napier: 300km and 10 caches. The weather was rather cloudy and very windy but nice enough for driving and geocaching.
After the Edwardian Pissoir we found a second cache in Masterton, near this beautiful Kingfisher. It is such a good idea to decorate these boxes!
Thanks for showing!

A great opportunity to practise stealth mode while enjoying the art. Took the trackable, left a magnet.

On a trip to Wairarapa today to make a dent in collecting some of the 100 Wairarapa puzzles I've solved over winter. Left home relatively early to collect as many of the puzzles and other cache types that I passed. Lovely day in the Wairarapa today.
After spending the morning caching around Carterton, I'm back in Masterton for lunch and a few more caches before I head for home. Quick find here, although it took longer to replace as the muggle homeowner started to mow her lawns right by the GZ and was looking at me funny. I moved the car around the corner and walked back to replace the cache. Swapped TBs. TFTC

#2529. I have been on leave all week which was a good option as I have been caching away during a long run of dot days. With stunning fine weather forecast, I decided to head over to the Wairarapa to pick up a bunch of caches to get my July numbers up. Having a quick look at roadside caches around Masterton late in the day before I head back to Wellington. This one was another quick find and pleased to see the cache was still intact. Struck the commuters returning home from work as I was signing the log so had to play act with lots of photos before replacing the cache. Nice artwork. Thanks for the cache.
Happy to be in Masterton after making our way down from the Tararuas. Picking off a few random caches of which this was one.
We made a straightforward find on the cache; signed the log, and then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Doing a spot of urban caching after a visit to Holdsworth, all good here, TFTC
Was there I just couldn't find it. And my friend who had found it once couldn't find it either
