I like a cache that takes me somewhere interesting and shows me a time in History that i missed out on.... I was looking forward to viewing the photo but sadly I found the cache empty and just lying on the ground. I returned it to its hiding place but there is no log, photo or anything else in the cache. Needs maintenance by replacing the log book and photo. The cache and hiding place are in good condition.

13-Jul-23
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. The cache was found open and empty on the ground beside it's hiding place.

#6364.
We visited friends in Sale and decided to take a different route home, this time through Yarra Junction. We stopped to quickly stretch our legs and attempt a couple of caches. This was a fun and interesting cache to find. Thanks for creating and maintaining this cache for us to find! FP awarded.

TwoEms were exploring the nearby Lotus and Waterlily park, when we decided on ‘Once Upon A Time: Yarra Junction’ to mark the occasion. We took hundreds of photos, and hundreds of other people took hundreds of photos, making hundreds upon hundreds of photos taken on that particular day at that particular place in that space and time. With all these digital records of light being dispersed and carried around, it might be troubling to foresee that all these slices of history will soon one day disappear, be forgotten, buried, deleted or never known.

We diverted our attention to finding ‘Once Upon A Time’. My other M gave the biggest grin when he discovered it, while this M was amused to see the piece of bark signed by previous finders inside. Unfortunately we could not find the photo that linked the cache owner’s poetic history to this place. Our imagination went from dwelling in the past to the strange possibilities that may be waiting in the future. Could anyone a hundred years ago have believed there would be dragons, crocodiles and a giant golden lotus residing not too far from here? We will leave you with three photos we took in Yarra Junction just a few hours ago. Thank you for the cache.

Myself and Shoopster3 hunting together saw this on the way and had to stop past. A good stop and well hidden Smile
That said, couldn't find the photo, but the sign sheet was there.

I was in the area today working on trying to find some unloved caches as i am working on qualifying for the [Spread the MEGA-Love Challenge (GC58NTE)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC58NTE).

However, as my path was going to cross this one...

*How could I not stop to look to see if I could find it*.

It was a nice quick little park and grab and the cache was in the first location I looked. A nice little area here. Thanks for the fun and TFTC.

**Cache Maintenance Status**

The cache container was in good shape, and the attachment mechanism still seemed strong. I did see the bark the previous finders were talking about. However, I had a spare sheet of paper that I signed and put into the cache for future cache finders to sign.

05-Jan-23
No log, we also signed the last finders piece of bark

Beautiful day for a stroll on the trail today!!

Here for the weekend and not cyclists, there seemed to be only one cache to seek. After an interesting visit to the musem, we found it at 1.56 pm. First name in the new log in thr refurbished cache, an excellent container, very well crafted, we trust cachers will treat it with the respect it deserves. We enjoyed reading the cache page and contents, thank you, HeliKelli & VinniClotho. Definitely a Favourite from us for the crafted container, story and relevant placemnt, well done!

Today Vinz visited this geocache and returned it to operation.
Go get it!

07-Feb-22
Vinz is displeased, that means Gozer is displeased and that my earthly friends is, as they say in the classics "bad"!
It seems that one of Gozers artifacts has been damaged thus she has called upon the Keymaster to affect repairs.
Out of play for now, but should be back soon.

05-Feb-22
Found. I have my own geocache with the exact same idea. So because of that I found almost instantly. Although I was scared that when putting the container back in place the logbook may fall out. Thanks for the cache!

27-Jan-22
Found it , came into Yarra Junction for some supplies and had to find a cache also. A nice quick find, however the tube with a cap is missing, the log and information sheet were extracted with a near by stick. Replaced so hopefully the next finder doesn't have to work as hard as us. Co, this one might need some attention. TFTC

29-Dec-21
Great cache very fun, we ended up looking at this tree (photo) but found the tube obviously sticking out of the ground.
Found by Bowie, Lachy, Jasper and Bella
The cache is not in the photo

27-Dec-21
Easy find if you use hint ! Beautiful spot

27-Nov-21
The log will need replacing shortly, it’s almost full.
We didn’t have any problems finding the cache and even spoilt with a hint!
However, we hid have some fun getting the log out to sign.
All good and replaced a bit easier for the next cacher.

Off for a Sunday morning geocaching run and selected the Warburton area, specifically so I could find the final of a multicache that I've been working on for a few years.

After falling to find the geocache in the first few places I looked, I took another at the GPSr and followed it to the geocache.

Thanks for the cache Heli Kelli & Vinni Clortho

I Vinz Clortho, the Keymaster have once again inhabited an earthly form. As I search for Zuul, the Gatekeeper, my travels have brought me to this place and this hidden artefact.
With finishing time for the little humans fast approaching, I was forced to hurry in this place, else I be trapped for another millennia in the nearby carpark.
Memories of my past are as strong as those past on the image within, almost like I have been here before..
Although my search for Zuul here was in vane, the artifact remains where it was placed, so I thus console myself by marking my presence upon its record held within.

We are heading up to Warburton for a weekend away and finding some caches on the way. This was our last for the day and a great one to finish off on. The GPS took us elsewhere first then changed its mind and JMelb spotted what it was heading for. Great cache hide. The photo took some convincing to be extracted and wow yes what a difference!!
TFTC Mark&Kelly - fave point from us - GJMMelb

Heading home after a couple of days away in Warburton.

Coords took us straight to a likely spot but a snug fit convinced us we were mistaken. We wandered around and tested other options before returning to the initial location. With (slightly) more force the cleverly hidden cache was revealed.

Nice hide! The construction is just right, and weathering has blended it in perfectly!

“Nothing to see here!”

30secs it took us to realise we were driving down the rail trail woops. Reversed hastily before we were caught by cyclists. Then walked instead and soon had a hand on it. Tftc

Was doing a relay with my sister, taking our Dad for a holiday and we met here for lunch. Lovely day and spot except for the lack of picnic tables. This one was about 300 meters from where we were so I wandered up while everyone else headed the other way to the toilets.
Thanks indeed

24-May-20
While it was rainy early, this was a great option to clear the house for Mum who was studying and get some exercise with the kids. I’ve been wanting to do this rail trail for years and it was great to pack / strap the bikes to the car and get out there. This cache along the way to Warburton was a nice surprise and the hint guides the way. tftc

After a ride to breakfast event on a pleasant sunny day I ambled along the bicycle/walking track to the dot on the map. I waited for a few muggles to pass then inspected a nearby feature. Tftc and a fav point for the clever container.

24-Nov-19
Drove right up to the cache! Cool hide. Logbook is just loose inside and getting caught and torn up, could do with an install that keeps the log intact. Plenty of room for a pen inside but none to be found.

11-Nov-19
Great cache. Had to wait for a couple of muggles to pass but it was a nice easy find. TFTC

06-Nov-19
Arrived at GZ and wondered , what is that object over there ? It doesn't seem to serve any purpose unless it houses a Cache . Sure enough , I was right . Cool container . Thanks Mark&Kelly

29-Sep-19
On our way back to Melb after a trip to Warburton for the GF. Decided to stop and get a cache. Needed to use car key to help with this one. TFTC

and we saw him!
the cat in the hat!
and he said to us,
'why do you sit there like that?'
'i know it is wet
and the sun is not sunny.
but we can have
lots of good fun that is funny!'
So we did. Went walking and caching. Fun that is funny

Find #4232. Found @ 19:51 with Muggle A.S.

We were staying at the nearby scout hall as part of a bike hike along the Warburton Trail for the scouts. Everyone was pretty exhausted, but as this was so close (and I'd damaged myself so wasn't actually riding), I came for the short stroll to collect. As it was, my muggle companion discovered the hide as I was looking at something very similar, but further away.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Mark&Kelly

09-Apr-19
Great location, thankyou very much!
We didn't sign the physical log because my pen wouldn't work, doh!

04-Apr-19
Popped over to this area today - grabbed a few caches on the way.
Had a good idea what to look for and where to look. At GZ , several options though one stuck out - but that appeared not to be the case. Havig tried other options we went back to it and it needed a little more persuasion than we expected but got there in the end. Nicely crafted
gets a fav from us

Walked straight up to it today after a gentle hint from the CO. Don’t know how I missed it yesterday. Lots of work and love went into the making of this cache. A group of muggles cycled past as I was sitting on a nearby stump admiring the old photo. Nobody else around. TFTC

23-Oct-18
Found as described by clue but nothing to be found

26-Sep-18
Found the hint definitely gave it away. Maybe a little more subtle would make it more fun.
