Logs
Although we spent a considerable time searching, we were unable to recognise the hint object, nor find the cache. TFTC
I read the previous log, so headed out along the track, only to realise that CeeVee was talking about the walking track and I was on the bike track. Strong gusty winds hampered my U turn but eventually I was on the right track. I thought I had my GPS zeroed in on the tree I was sure it would be behind ... but no ... and not that one either.... I widened and widened my search. It's not got a big difficulty rating, it is a largish sized cache. Where can it be? Eventually I gave up with my question still unanswered.
Went caching around Napier with muggles 15 year old granddaughter, before we went to Cops & Robbers Xmas get together at Laser Force. We walked up the road and through the Cemery, then down the hill (slipping). Along the track would be recomended. Cache soon found, signed and placed back under growth. Cheers.
It has been one of those days! The coordinates were a bit out for us, expanded the search area and used cache sense and there it was. A good size container and nicely protected. Tftc
Finally found it after a while, it was right in front of us the whole time!
[#7260. Parked off Clyde Jeffery Drive for a little walk to explore Orotu Park this morning. GZ was pretty quiet at this time. Found after a short search. Nicely camouflaged and well covered] under plant debris rather than anything growing. [The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside.

How embarrassing - this was my second DNF today... and I had the CO looking too. We've decided I should try in daylight and see how I get on.

Well this took a lot longer to find than the others however I got there I the end there were muggles galore when I arrived at GZ coming from all directions and dogs but after they passed I was able to have a better look. I've left a tb in here to continue its travels.

Was a bit off-location. (Had to climb through the fence to get to it) Replaced it closer to original spot
Nice and easy in the end, but we took the long way around ! Cache was not hidden well (hidden well now), GPS way off and bounced around quite a bit. Thanks
The team moved around to the more sheltered and sunnier side of the hill to look for this cache.
Dad and 11YO went ahead looking for something, anything that met the description and hint; while Mum, 7YO and 4YO searched closer areas - again dodging doggie pooh.
Mum chose the exact spot of the cache to hand 4YO over to Dad - Mum looked down and spotted the cache as Dad starting saying he couldn't find anything that really matched the hint!

Bought Dad for his first Geocaching trip and his instincts were bang on!! Not sure we would have found it without him. Might have to take him to our other trouble spots haha Yay Park Island is now complete Thanks Nick!
Another nice find while in the area with Just-Lookin.
Took some searching to get the container found
Very cold and wet day, with snow on the hills!

On a road trip with tmann421 to the Hawkes Bay.
We started the day cold and wet and with snow, but by the time we got to this one the sun had come out, which was lucky as it took a while to find. I'd searched this area when tmann did another swoop and found the well hidden container.

Lovely cache once I located it! Had been moved from original place and left in the open so have hidden it again where it is meant to be.
Way too many dog walkers and dawdlers around .got it with alot of patience . Tftc
Hunted for quite a while, tried widening the search but too many options. Felt very unusual scrambling around the bank without my geo kids as cover! Luckily no one was out for a walk today ☺
This one took us awhile to find, after searching far and wide, but didn't want to give up. We were pleased when we finally found it, nice camo! TFTC
This one got us going on a real goose chase! Would have kept looking but have time restraints now so will have to come back for this and the last one further round another time
With two DNFs already in what I would of thought was a relatively simple hide, I will try to get out there this week and check coordinates. Looks like they are possibly slightly out.
First to log but second to find with a very pregnant member of TeamKiwiArmo. A very nicely prepared cache and well hidden. Quite a quick find, co-ords were maybe 10-12m out by my GPS with around 3m accuracy. TNLN TFTC

Took a moment out of my busy day to locate this new cache with a seasoned cacher KiwiOwl. He gets the glory for locating this one as I was looking in completely the wrong place. It was neat to see a new cache is pristine condition. TNLN TFTC
Thanks for this new cache. I scored FTF! Traffic noisy from here. Picked up TB. Thank you.
