Cache check today as we found what we expected - no cache. Time had had an effect on the place where the cache was hidden so seemed the right time to archive this.

DANG! A DNF for me here.

We looked for about 15 minutes but my daughter got hungry so we had to leave. Definitely gps issues. Had hoped for a better hint.

The Seagnoid has snagging solved puzzles and an odd multi on his radar for the weekend in Nelson. Zara was in the body shop Thursday so we are here early. Rabbit Island is on my radar today. So lets go! Leave Zara at the beach checking out the sights while I start walking.
Its back to Zara. But before leaving its time to do this one. Snagged and tagged. Cheers

Out with two of our grand kids on a small treasure hunt before they had to be home so this was our last one for the day so we ran out of time for more. Cheers

The trees always give you a challenge with the GPS but got there in the end. No paper in the plastic bag but replaced for the next cacher to fill in

First time in Nelson! Came for the night from Palmerston North just to do some geocaching on Anzac Day! We only have a few hours here but totally worth it when you find cool caches like this one! TFTC

A few days in Nelson and a drive in the surroundings ...

And on the way around the world I also found this cache.
I strolled over to ground zero and searched for a short time and found the container.
The coords are right on the mark. The cache is in good condition and the log paper is nice and dry. I took nothing, left nothing, and signed the log paper.
I carefully replaced the cache at the same place.

On a misty day we took a bike ride to Rabbit Island to find some geocaches. Tftc!

What a beautiful part of the country. Was visiting with a friend and had to sneak off and grab a geocache. Tftc

In the evening we have a little walk with the rabbits[:p].
This was an easy found it.

We are keen geocachers on holiday from Tauranga. We are biking this part of the Great Taste Trail with Muggle friends, so can only spend a short time at each cache before they get restive. So this was a quick find. Cache all good. Picked up the Alaska TB. TFTC

Good day for a walk on the island

I had time today for a few caches while dropping Mr 11yr old off at his school trip. So nice not to be rushing and have time to soak up this wonderful beach area. Mr 11 yr old was impressed with the location of the hiding spot. TFTC

We came out here for our coffee time after visiting some local wineries and having lunch at one of them.. Good to see a regular sized cache with lots of swag.

Quick find after a cold swim.

Time today to visit GZ and find the empty box just where the full box should have been. New log and swops added - just in time for summer. Thanks to WhereInTheWorldAmI? for retrieving the container, leaving it safely in the right place and alerting us.

We have had a report that the cache was disturbed and needs a check and a replacement log we suspect. We should have time to sort this in the next few days.

Quick find

Found this on Rabbit Island while holidaying in Nelson with Rebel98, Gorby and rustynz !
Had no idea how massive this island was ....even though we could see it from the plane !
Will need to come back to do all the rest another time !

Nice to do another one of your caches great fun still cant go to bed till we beat 20 caches from the night before and dinner may be around 9pm TFTC

I sat in the car while my team mates went of to collect this cache, in the mean time I tried to solve a mystery cache nearby. But that's another story! Caching here on Rabbit Island with Rebel98, rustynz and supernanny.

After not completing the wherigo, and then problems with a missing letterbox, I was starting to think we were losing our mojo? luckily this one saved the day, and once the log was signed we were on our way

A quick find in the rain with TregearP whilst exploring the local area - and the first time on Rabbit Island.

All in good condition, TNLNSL, TFTC.

A quick find as SJT_NZ and I were looking for property around Nelson / Tasman area. TFTC all in good order.

Out by myself today and headed for this one while there was nobody around. Found a nicely defined track to follow and soon had my hands on the cache. Thanks to the orienteering club for making such a good track.

First find for the day, went for a ride across rabbit island for the first time. TFTC took trackable.

We read the description to this with interest. We missed Pink Flloyd in our early years hence to us "Time" is a culture club hit. No Boy George near this cache. After our picnic lunch I asked Jules "shall we do time ? A prison sentence was the thought then. When we got to GZ Jules comment d that this was her favourite type of cache. A great location, a nice big box for trackables and a not too difficult hide. It therefore gets a favourite from us. Thanks SoBads for the cache. Our 1400 cache.
