It took us a while to locate the cache in this brightly coloured bus shelter. It was a bit awkward when a bus came along and stopped, but we just waved it on. TFTC
#6586. I have come up to Hamilton for several days for a work trip but have added some extra time to the trip to give me a chance to find some Hamilton caches. Haven't done much caching in Hamilton before and the map on the GPS is full of boxes. So its a case of finding one and looking for a nearby cache to go to next. This one is not far from the hotel where I am staying. So headed off to locate the cache. Spotted it fairly quickly but had a lack of tools on me to get it out but eventually the pen came to my aid in prising it from its hidey hole. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here kiwis69
Cute little place to take rest. Had to wait across the street until the muggles waiting for their next ride left. Thanks for the cache and thanks Jeremy for the lovely art.
I went out with my wife, Monolita42, for a short Christmas Day cache hunt. We found three caches relayed to Jeremey’s bus stop art. After some searching on the first one, the others were quite easy to find. Nice art. TFTC!
Every time I went past this cache there were muggles everywhere, not today at 5:00am, easily found.
Popped out late tonight to pick up some of these more tricky hides. Nice easy find but as I was sitting signing the log a bus pulled up. Didn’t realise than ran this late in a Sunday. Everything is in good order and another example of great creativity for a bus stop
The guys were talking about this at Keas. Looks like a good thing to do with the kids.
Sounds like there is a big event in Upper Hutt soon. We will be down that way in October so I might make it.

Out today clearing some areas and to turn into nice yellow smiles was nice to be accompanied by caching buddy NZ Flossy Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placement. Cheers
On a road with McJandals over the hill to Hamilton. An early start to make the most of the day. We had lots of laughs and quite a bit of mud and took a few wrong turns. Thanks to all the CO’s for their caches TFTC
While heading to cache I got to watch a bit of tennis. Lots of car traffic but no foot traffic so a quick stop. TFTC
Creative cache container. We came by earlier but there were muggles waiting for the bus so we had to double back. Tftc
After our first attempt was delayed by people waiting for the bus, we came back a little later. We had an idea as to what it might be, but luckily, after checking out a dead end, I was at the right angle to see it. Thanks!
well I wasnt expecting that, after waking up super early I got up had a shower and went for a walk, being that it was only 7.30ish the area was quite.
nice quick find at GZ, gets a fav point from us

That was a quick find. My granddaughter has sharp eyes. This was her first search. I think she is a fan now. Tftc
I didn't have a pen on me so will come back later to sign on

Walking around town collecting some caches and dodging the rain showers...arrived at GZ and was full of muggles ...waited for a while and they were soon gone...yes the place to our selves.... soon the cache was in hand...what a sneaky placement...well done and thanks for a great we cache
Thought I could short cut through to this one but there was a fence in the way. Walked around only to find a large family of muggles waiting in the shelter for the bus. Luckily the bus didn't take long to arrive and then we could move in. We have extraction devices on hand so removing container and log was ok. May need new log but back if existing log ok for now. Thanks for bringing us here
Found on the stroke of midnight after looking far too long! Scroll is just about full too.
Finally!! I would not agree that this was an easy find but t then I’m pretty new to this. I couldn’t get the container out though.
Sometimes I hate geocaching this was one of those ones where I spent far far too long searching and getting frustrated and when I finally found it (after almost walking away many times) I kicked myself and wondered how on earth I didn't see it straight away. Thank goodness I found it! In the pouring rain today making sure I keep my streak up. Luckily I was semi covered while I was searching. Thanks for the damn cache
I had to check all the usual places before I found this one. It was stuck in quite tightly and couldn't get it at first. I was tempted to go back to my Geovan to get a ToTT, but it finally started to move and I got it. TFTC.
First time I found a Jeremy cache first try! No muggles today since it was 6pm. TFTC
A quick spot as I wandered past but had to wait for the bus to come and remove the family from hell before completing the deal. TFTC.
Day #19 of 23 1/2 days in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Today’s rather short trip with mixed weather-conditions took me further up north from Mount Manganui [:X] to Hamilton .
Had to say goodbye to the beautiful Mount [:X], where I had spent two splendid days [^].
But I was also looking forward to visit Hamilton, as a personalized event was waiting for me there at the end of the day, organized by Cats&Dragons [^] .
Of course there were again some cool treasures hidden along the route and in Hamilton, that I loved to pick up .
Ended up with 12 finds , including a webcam , two great letter-boxes [^], a cute little multi-cache , several handsome traditional caches at the side of the road and of course "my" event in Hamilton.... Cool!
After the careful inspection of the location there was only one single spot where a non-magnetic cache could have been hidden...
Bingo - Gotcha!
Hey - owners on the way up north and in Hamilton - you have cool caches [^] !
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining .
Cheers from Germany

So obvious once you find it. Definitely overthought it but sitting and thinking about it helped a lot. I love Jeremy's art. A good one to find in the evening. Tftc
Phew needed the stop on a beautiful hot day. No pen so photo evidence. TFTC!
Travelling around beautiful NZ on the next part of our holiday. We stopped off in Hamilton for lunch on our way from Auckland to Taupo. Geokids wanted some stretch time so we entertained the family with a spot of caching. Nice easy find. TFTC
Great hide! On my way home after work and grabbed a quick one! Absolutely love the colourful bus shelters - and electricity boxes! ! TFTC
Brought my little minion with me as a decoy today. She did all the work while I was on watch. Nice artwork! TFTC
The Jeremy artwork is pretty special. Took us a long time to get log to sign it after knowing where the cache was. TFTC
On a mission today to find 120 + as a team of 4. All logs signed Naki 4
Team is Blenheim Bear Thatsneat Tmninjaturtle and 2 Bulbars.
It was a fun filled day finding many sorts of different caches and visiting many interesting places.
Many thanks to all who placed these caches to help make it such an enjoyable day
Found this with the team "Naki 4" (Blenheim Bear, 2Bulbars, TMNinjaTurtle and myself) on our mission from Huntly to Hamilton on our hunt to 120. Was a long day but pleased to have it completed! Thank you for the cache.
Loved this container, very different

Looked everywhere but the obvious lol. Had to use a tool to retrieve. Nice placement. Log signed as b&p.Tftc kiwis69. Find # 2999
Time to visit Hamilton again to get some Whereigo's, multis, Earthcaches and any traditionals that strike my fancy.
First stop and I looked for the tell tale Jeremy cache but couldn't spot it, read hint, checked a different location and bingo.
Had to sign and replace quickly as the was a muggle heading down the road towards me.
Thanks kiwis69

We had a big crew searching for this one, and we all missed the obvious. A second look was what was needed. Tftc
Quick find. Loved the artwork and loved the container.... am so pleased it wasn't just another magnetic eclipse tin
We are spending the night tonight at our new property at Redbrook, before heading to places south in the morning. We came over to Minogue Park this evening to use the campervan facilities there. While in the area we came to check out Jeremy's artwork and to pick up this cache. Thanks.
Thankfully no muggles around todat so in for a quick find. Loved everything about this cache, the container, the placement and the art. TFTC
We were in Hamilton for the Easter Egg hunt event and stopped off at the nearby supermarket for supplies. As this was close just had to go and have a look. Quick find but a little trickier to retrieve. TFTC.
I have tried to grab this cache on a number of occasions but it had always eluded me so I was determined it was not going to beat me this time. It got close but one last try showed me the way and I was able to sign it once I was able to get it out from the hidey hole
Had almost given up on finding this, and was walking away when I thought "nope, I don't want a DNF on this!". Turned around and spotted it almost instantly (although wasn't entirely convinced it was the cache until I had actually retrieved it!). Had to use some nearby rubbish (plastic spoon) to get it out of its hiding place. Great container & great hide! SL. TFTC!
Had planned to replace log on my way to tonight's nearby event but forgot log paper! Temporary new log in place until I can re-visit again. Otherwise cache all good - happy hunting!
Dodging the rain and attempting to snare a few random Hamilton caches as we go. This was one of those.
We admired the 'artwork' and then got on to the search. Soon the cache was in hand.
All in order, although the log is now super full (the consequences of popularity) and a replacement would be good. Signed the log in a squeezed in space. Then re-hidden safely, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 caches by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promising as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come two days to the end of 2015 and we realised we were much closer than we realised, so set off to Hamilton for some binge caching to reach that milestone! Today was a day with a lot of more DNFs than expected and less numbers than we wanted, but regardless, it still brought us that little bit closer to our goal.
Spotted this one from the car, so hopped out and made a quick grab. Thanks for the hide!

On the way to do some Christmas shopping decided to park near here and walk in.
Nice hide.

Nice hide.
TFTC
No problems with this one, happened to arrive just as the bus left so no one around to stop us from completing our mission. TFTC
A quick find here, although I was really hoping it was the cache as I removed it from it's hiding spot. Thanks for the quick find.
An early morning walk and a chance to grab a couple of caches. A quick find and few muggles around at this hour. Tftc

We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Third day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. This day we started to head towards south and to Christchurch Mega event.
After attending todays event, we started heading to our next night accommodation, via some caches of course.

On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
This was last cache for today. TFTC!

Found this cache in the morning before my caching buddy had to go to work. A nice easy find at a place I go past often!! TFTC!
Over in Hamilton for the morning claiming a few caches with shellabellabee before heading off to work in the afternoon. Pass by here regularly on my way to work and never suspected that there was a cache in here. Good spot, TFTC
