I had taken a look for this a year ago or so and had no luck, but I had had some new ideas about where the cache might be hidden, so despite my skepticism about the cache still being in place I had a brief look but didn't find it. If the owner checks on the cache I'll give it a more thorough go.
GPS was all over the place and the hint is a little too subtle for me. Out of time, another day perhaps.
After a DNF on a solved puzzle nearby made a quick attempt at this cache. I searched high and low and could not see anything stand out at me. I'll have to come back another day when in the area.
Found it. Cache needs some TLC as container is in poor condition and contents is waterlogged.
Thehint is great. We were being too literal to start with. That’s our first Sydney find
This involved a bit of time surveying my surrounds while dodging bush turkeys and slapping mosquitoes. When I spotted it in wasn’t I’d be able to retrieve it, but I surprised myself. Thanks for the challenge

With a few turkeys watching on, I made a step up and could reach for this one.

Wow so many turkeys glad one of us could retrieve as would hate to be so close and not be able to log found cause u could t get it to sign TFTC
Visited here mid afternoon and the place was crawling with turkeys. This was a very clever cache. TFTC!
Sitting here wondering how long it will take me to put the cache back. Great hide. TFTC. Turkeys keeping me company!
I had a good look, but my GPS was swinging all over the place so I am not sure of I was in exactly the right spot. So many rocks!
I will have another look one day without my impatient children. I'm sure its there somewhere.
Cheers,

Companions: None
Muggles: Quite a few
Weather: Lovely autumn morning
Cache condition: Good
I had a rare workshop in the office (with appropriate social distancing), so decided to drive in, which had the additional benefit of allowing some caching enroute. I parked nearby and headed across the road and was soon at GZ. There were a few muggles walking dogs etc, but they were satisfied with a friendly nod. I soon determined the container's location, and found a suitable way to retrieve it (TNLNSL) and return it. Thanks, nice cache.

Second try, first try forgot a pen so came back with a pen. When I found it and signed it I wanted to climb a tree near by and when I did the the tree fell down. I wouldn't really call it a tree it was more of a 5 cm wide stick that is about 3.5 meters tall but I ran away quickly enough for the tree not to hit me. So be careful if you want to go climb a tree or you can have the same incident as I had. You might also see the fallen "tree" lying down on the ground TFTC nice cool camp but stands out a bit.
Loved this one!
It took me quite some time to realise what I was looking for, but when it clicked, how very clever!

Where I found it not sure if that’s where it should be. It was really exposed. In end it wasn’t that hard to find.
I returned and after a few minutes cleared my DNF. Unfortunately the twelve months unloved are gone now!?!

Today we headed across the Roseville Bridge to try our luck at a D5 cache in East Lindfield, and to do a checkup visit at the nearby D4.5 cache "GC782TC Sticky situation" which is currently under threat of Archiving due to someone reporting it to the Reviewer (a disgruntled DNFer we suspect). Then, after some shopping at Chatswood, we grabbed some more caches around the Lane Cove area. This was the 2nd of 8 finds, and 1 checkup visit, for the day.
After a surprisingly quick find (60 seconds) of a D5 cache at East Lindfield, then some shopping at Chatswood, we arrived in Lane Cove for this one. Parked the geomobile in Arding Street, then did the dash across busy Centennial Avenue and down into the bush to GZ. Quickly spotted the cache and, with the aid of a TOTT, soon had the nicely crafted CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found, again with the aid of the TOTT. Lots of Brush Turkeys were scratching around near GZ during our visit. TFTC leonieh.

Hi that was a great spot I would do it again but one problem I know where it is thanks that was my first one good job hiding it
THANKS CAM AND JAMES

Finally back in action...sorry for the delay! Please ensure it is replaced where found! Happy caching
After a really long search I got a photo from a previous finder. Definitely not in the spot it was.
Is it still there?
Is it still there?
Sorry for the delay but back in place now. Remember to be careful retrieving it and put back exactly as found Good luck!!
Out for an afternoons caching after a day indoors with the rain yesterday. A pocket of caches in the Lane Cove area was selected. At the majority of the caches I encountered road closures due to Sydney Water works, flowing creeks and run off debris. Fortunately all caches were found in good condition. Here the GPS had me among the rocks; but the hint said otherwise. After circling the rock for 15 mins and watching a brush turkey scratching around it dawned on me where it might be. Ah there it is, now to retrieve it. TFTC leonieh a clever hide.
Just doing a final check of our orienteering map called Strinybark Creek we saw this cache we had not attempted before. A good hint gave it to us quite quickly. Not too hard to retrieve and replace. Quite a few muggles about.
Located at 12:33pm. Searched for a good long while before making the find...unfortunately the cache was not in its natural position, most likely the turbulent weather we have recently had has disturbed it. I replaced as best I could and will send the CO a photograph in case they need to re-adjust. This is a grid fill for me, many thanks for the hide, love the area as well, great place for a cache and a lovely bushwalk too. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
I need a daily after work during my trip up to Sydney.... this is the closest unfound to my hotel so off I go. At GZ I am wandering around for a few minutes before I look at the hint... OK, I am looking in totally the wrong places, I assumed from the name of the cache that it would be somewhere in the rocks. So I turn my attention elsewhere and spot it almost immediately. Hmmmm, now how to get that?? I ferret around for a tool and find exactly what I need to make the retrieve, and more importantly, the return.
Cache log was then immediately in hand and I sign the second of the two logs in here, then make the return on the first attempt, very happy with that.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Took a while to find what was in plane sight all the time. Was I getting strung out about the quarry, or hung up about the stringybark, or just on a wild turkey chase?! TFTC leonieh
Nice sneaky hide. Spotted from afar but luckily we had monkey boy with us so didnt take too long to make the grab. Giving a fav here as its a bit different to wat we have been finding lately
Nice one!
Spotted this one from the distance and while monkey boy collected i chased the bush turkey.

I enjoyed a lovely walk to find this cache- great camo!
I will warn that getting it back into its original hiding place is a challenge. Also encountered some friendly local bush turkeys. A few muggles passed as I was trying to put it back in its location and managed to hide myself by hugging the tree. Quite hilarious! Thanks!

So clever! Thanks to the hint I found this cache within 10 minutes love it
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. What a nice camo for the cache. Loved the uniqueness of it.
After I finished my work commitments for the day I went for a walk to find a few more caches. After a shaky start with a DNF I came to this cache. A careful reading of the listing, hint and a couple of logs and I had a fair idea of where I should look. Took a few minutes to spot the clever hide and then I managed the retrieve and replace without further incident. Lovely bush walk round here too. Nice one! TFTC, Biggles.
Find # 1067. Found at 5:20pm.
I was on my way home from work but decided to make a detour to Lane Cove which sadly was only for the one cache after my plans for more were foiled. I took the long way in to get to GZ, approaching from a street 600m away as opposed to walking in from Centennial Ave. I'll just pretend that was intentional for the pleasure of views and strolling, although i do enjoy it.
I struggled to hone in on the cache when I arrived at GZ, mind you it was made a lot harder thanks to some muggles walking by on a few occasions. One guy stood there looking at his phone as I loitered and he was rubbing me up the wrong way big time. Anyway after he left I was able to focus on I made the find. Retrieval was tough but enjoyed the challenge.
Nice camo, signed log, thanks for the cache leonieh

After not being able to find the other one on the path. This was a nice one to find.
Spent ages looking through Sandstone quarry. I had to read the comments about a retrieval stick, which got me thinking. I just saw it out of the corner of my eye. Very creative and good hide.
My leftmost metatarsal on my left foot got stuckwedged as I retrieved the cache. It was sore for a while after that but all good now. My footwear was not solid enough. As for locating the sneaky hide - that took ages. The tree cover prevented my geoPhone from getting the kind of accuracy I needed. But persistence got me over the line eventually.

Came to the area to find a nearby puzzle cache and decided to look for some other caches while here. Quite a nice walk along the track and interesting history about the quarry. The iPhone wasn't too stable under the tree cover but I eventually pinpointed the area and spotted some clever cammo. Used natural tool to help with retrieval. SL and returned to its hiding spot in a similar manner.

Once at GZ I spotted the camo and cache. But how does a vertically challenged chap get to it? Fortunately I've been watching Survivor (and reading the logs) so found a natural retrieval tool and it was CIH.
Replaced carefully and sat down to admire this lovely urban trail. Similar to one near my place in the Sutherland Shire where I have a few hides! Spotted a friendly bush turkey on the way too. TFTC.

Just moved to the area and a spot of caching is a perfect way to explore the new surroundings. This was a fun one, I spotted it quite quickly but Sharon was definatley not wearing her geo glasses

Made my way in and despite the tree cover the iPhone got me pretty close and the cache was spotted soon enough. But how to get to it? I ended up using a method mentioned by others in their log and had the thing soon enough, so the log was promptly signed and the cache replaced. Thanks leonieh.
Challenging but great find. Retrieval stick was very dirty though. Camo was cute
Well this one certainly had me going. Wandered around everywhere. Then tead the logs. And thought I would revidit thr ace of my first instinct. Mmmm....looks well used area and reet but nothing here........but...what is that? That's not normal...ah and that must be part of the attachment. So there it is...how to
...oh yea, that's what the tool is for and stay well grounded....Thanks for the special tool. Okay, worthy of a favoutit point.

It's been a very long time since we have found any caches. We went out as a family some months back but, soon after one of our caches got muggled and it really took a toll on GeoDad who had spent a lot of time working on not just the container or the hide location but also the oaccompanying puzzle.
Well, after GeoDad competed in a race he had been preparing 8 months for last weekend, we've now got much more free time and have decided to find more caches.
Today, GeoDad went it alone and decided to find a cache on his lunch break before the rains came.
He parked around the corner, making the short walk to GZ. The walk was peaceful and the view beautiful so, naturally, some photos were taken along the way (these will be attached along with the log entry).
After a quick search and indeed finding that the GPS reception wasn't the best, GeoDad decided to look at some precious photos. After that, it wasn't long and the cache was in hand.
This cache is very impressive and, as such, will be receiving a SWAG Gang favourite point.
Thank you leonieh for this impeccable hide, the trip down here and the view.

I was up in Sydney for a 'work weekend' and met up with a friend to do a couple of caches this morning. He brought his kids along and after doing a virtual cache (which didn't impress them) they really enjoyed the hunt and retrieval here, which enthused them to go and find more. A fun and clever cache that I really enjoyed too. TFTC
Found this one with mp-tp after 2 rugby games at Riverview. Camo is great and the retrieval stick is handily positioned nearby. Tftc leonieh!
Found mid Friday morning on the way back to the office from Willoughby. The GPS signal was lousy and I only got near to GZ by referring to an earlier picture. Spotted the cache after a while but the problem was how to retrieve it. Found a suitable implement nearby and I soon had the CIH. Getting it back as it was took a bit longer but fortunately there was no one else on the track to be seen. A favourite point from me for the historical context and the camo. Dipped all TB's through. Many thanks leonieh
Ha ha ha too funny, that's a cute hide.

We met some people maintaining the park here. Had a good chat and then moved on to find the cache. Previous logs helped and geodad soon had the CIH. Thanks for the cache series. Such a beautiful walk in the area!
In true Nibletricecakes fashion I dove into this one with a newbie cacher without reading anything about the difficulty etc. With a bouncing gps we looked down by the creek then back up towards the houses.
Then.. trying to explain the game a little more to LCCC I said we need to be looking for something out of place and probably up high! "Like that?" She queries. "Exactly!!" I exclaim. With a bit of a push from LCCC I soon had the cache in hand but alas had forgotten a pen. LCCC dashed back whilst I looked casual up at GZ. Log signed, a monkey manoeuvre had me back to LCCC and we headed off keenly satisfied. TCTC what an awesome little find

My favourite type of cache: secluded, few muggles, well camouflaged and with a bit of adventure! Favourite point coming your way - tftc!
A Sunday afternoon walk brought us to Stringybark Creek. Started our walk at the west end. We liked the history here and did note all the sandstone blocks. Funny how one of the photos is both a deadset giveaway but also gives nothing away. Teamwork helped at this well disguised container. We liked it. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Noice!
History lesson good too.
Got it with a stretch - care on the way back needed!

I looked around a little to no success but after reading the hint I quickly spotted it . Retrieving it was easy enough, replacing it in a way so it wasn't extremely obvious was another matter. I had to redo it a couple of times but I got there. Thanks
Looked high and low at the creek one for a DNF, so ventured along to this one to give myself a break.
Walked along the trail past GZ and nothing stood out as per the hint.
Checked the photos and one suggested I look at a certain item and soon had a visual of the hide.
Great recycling effort leonieh

Great little cache, I like that it wasn't the obvious hide and some thought in the construction. GPS was all over the shop but eventually spotted and retrieved. Cheers! FP for the extra effort. Hope it's sister is back soon.
Found this cache before work on nearby building site. I arrived at GZ and saw all the possibilities here, before taking in the hint. Ahh there you are! Used geocaching tool#2 to retrieve the cache and did the legals and replaced as found. Loved the bush around here. TFTCM

The first cache for the day on a nice spring Saturday. We parked the car in the nearby street and walked down to GZ. After a short while of searching we spotted the cache, and after some effort got it in hand, signed the log and replaced it.
(BTW, if you are not tall enough or agile enough or resourceful enough to be able to sign the log in the cache, then it is not fair dinkum to log the cache as found. The cache has a D/T rating for a reason.)

Ok its very clever I'm claiming this as a find - I found it, i can see it, it's obviously it but I'm on my own, I'm short and don't want to risk a fall so log is unsigned.
