No luck for us today. Our GPS wasn't settling, so we had searched an extended area.

Inevitably on a long trip when many geocaches are being found, some get missed. Unfortunately, at the time, this was one of them. So, although out of chronological order, I am logging them today for simplicity. So my apologies for the generic log and the out of date sequence.
Our trip commenced on Friday November 28th and concluded on Tuesday December 22nd. During that time, we visited caches in Maryborough, Childers, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Sarina, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville and Cairns, with other places in between like Proserpine, Home Hill, Ayr, Ingham to name just a few, with many wonderful single stop caches along the way.
Our party consisted of myself, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and on occasion, youngoldfella.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC, cache me up.

Today is day 5 of our northern adventures with RoddyC, Snickersallan, GrannySmith 1947 & hatzofff. We are caching in and around Sarina then travelling to Mackay caching on the way. Apologies for simple logs as I have a lot to do. Was able to park close as I could drive over the road concrete edge, Had to leave room for other cars. Co ords took me to one spot and my GPSr was indicating 4 meters over the fence so straight back to the Armco soon had the container in hand. Low and Low. TFTC cache me up
Day five of my adventure from the Gold Coast to Townsville with geo friends RoddyC, hatzofff, youngoldfella & grannysmith1947. Enjoying caching our way around whilst admiring points of interest & landmarks.
All our finds were rather quick and the containers were in good condition, well done to all the CO's.

I had driven past this one so many times without stopping. Today i stopped. On my walk back to the car, a kookaburra flew out of the long grass with a snake in its beak! SL TFTC
Took a bit to find as GPS wanted us to go 4m over the fence. But really didn't want to do that, so kept looking till we found it.
Was hot to walk from the parking spot to this one then overshot the mark whilst talking Got it eventually. TFTC
Out today with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog12 for a bit if an adventure. Said our fairwells to them nearby and started home. Decided to drop off at this one. Found at 2.30 just before we got muggled by some crab fisherfolk who heaved them selves over the fence. Then got tooted at by Rainforest Cooke as they passed us

No luck for us here. With no parking Mr beetle drove up and down the road while I searched in the rain. Not in any of the obvious spots I checked. Thanks.
Definitely can't park right on top of this one. It's only a tiny walk to get to GZ. TFTC
Our last day exploring the Sarina area - found this one while enjoying the area with CAD ... Parking was the hardest thing about finding this cache ... T4TC:) #4060
Day 4 Mackay .
Today we decided to head south to Hay Poiint & Serina as we had heard their were some good caches to be found in the area.

On our way from Gladstone to Sarina and a couple of smilies along the way. Parking is a little dubious here and we took a chance and bounced across the concrete dividing strip.

out for a drive
to plug a hole in the calendar
I remember when I snuck out to grab a couple of caches at the beach
I thought that this area might be a good spot for a cache ...
and a couple of days later, this one popped up [^]
a new concrete divider has been laid since ...
which just makes the stroll just a little bit longer.
got the cache no worries
then wandered along a bit more to look at the creek
didn't throw a line in ... just grabbed a photo instead
thanks for the cache

Our first "First to Find"
We where doing a couple on the way to Hay Point when the notification came through. Headed straight there!
My GPS had the cache about 5-6m away from GZ but it was a simple case of elimination.
