Thanks for the adventurous find! Nice and early before the mosquitoes and wriggly sticks come out! Thanks for find 538!
Driving around Kinglake and surrounds today and caching before work this evening. A quick stop off here to grab the cache which is in good condition. Quick toilet break and off to the next cache. TFTC
Thanks for the cache, found during a recent outing to replenish chocolate supplies from Yarra Valley. Cache found easily enough, with assistance from a handy geotrail; contents in good condition.
I was in Coldstream this morning hunting a first to find then decided why not take a drive down the highway and collect some smilies. Thanks for placing this one.
Yesterday during our road-trip we had quite the amazing time, seeing wild koalas and traveling over 500 kilometers across the country. Today we woke up in Warragul and our plan was to get relatively close back to Melbourne, though it wasnt necessarily our destination. I had planned our trip to head a little further north before returning to the big city to visit three stashes which would help us with our Jasmer grid, and we werent really in a rush to make it back to the city. Our day was nonetheless quite busy and ended delightfully in [an STF](https://coord.info/GL1BXAH1P); but more on that later. As we continued on our trip, we stopped nearby and came to check up on this stash. We found it quickly and think that some wildlife must have found the stash before us, since the container was loosely on the ground. Were *really* curious who lives under the tree, which is a great big hole. The container and logbook are in relatively okay condition; I got out the logbook and at 3:33 pm inked our nick into it, making this our 7178th overall find. Thank you Jobloww, for placing and maintaining your Wumindjika Taungurung Biik stash; we were glad to visit it and spice up our Wednesday while down under in Australia for our spring break, visiting from slightly-distant Myanmar! We snapped a photo and returned the stash as we found it, and appreciate the opportunity for a find and visiting another new location. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. I absolutely loved the many little and burrows I saw on the trail around here. For my own personal statistics; this is the one hundred & first of 112 geocaches we visited down under while on spring break, excluding the 56 adventure lab caches we visited and 28 Waymarks visited. Lastly, I was quite surprised to see in the online logs that an infamous geocacher from the Czech Republic visited the location not long ago and wasnt able to find this cache!
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Bad acces
18:21I came out this way to nab a cache that nobody else seemed to notice... and a challenge cache I recently qualified for.On my way home from Chum Creek and Toolangi, I made one more stop to visit the bushfire memorial. And of course, this cache.I can't imagine what this place must have been like fifteen years ago. Thanks, rossvdv, for the welcome, the cache, and a chance to reflect.#8346
Finally, we got to tick this one off on our way home from Seymour after a quick overnight stay to do the first Goulbourn River Trail Parkrun, we have driven past this a bunch of times, but finally took the time to stop tftc
We are heading to Toolangi to fill an LGA. This cache was an irresistible stop. Camo is fading after being so long here, but still effective. Thanks for the fun, and the great pen retainer.
PS watch out for the leech attached to the container.

Found this one also the other day when I was out delivering don’t know why you didn’t log
On the way to Kinglake for a spot of caching in the bush. Any excuse to get out of town.
I wish I still had my horse, he would have enjoyed a short stay here.
Thanks for the cache rossvdv

Heading out to Kinglake with +Wife to do some cache maintenance for a good mate.
We stopped by here to stretch our legs, and find a cache of course.
A nice easy find thanks to the hint. What a delightful area so close to the highway.
Well worth coming back for a bit of a trek around the trails.

On our way to the Mega and this was a good time to stretch the legs and find a cache. Beautiful area and thanks to the hint, it was a nice quick find.
Thank you rossvdv for bringing us to this location today.

You could hear lots of bike activity in the area today - everyone out and about
A trip to check out all the awesome places in eastern Victoria. TFTC.
Looks like a nice hiking spot for later. Quick stop today.

Out with echidna44 on our way to Bonnie Doon. This was a quick find in a lovely natural parkland. Thanks rossvdv.
Finally got back here to change the frown upside down
Lovely walk in. Nice & fresh out. Quick find. TFTC

A road trip this morning after dropping two iTEEM members at work, specifically to find a historic cache for a milestone.
I then cached my way back south during the morning.
A good spot to stop and stretch the legs, and a reminder that a straight line is not necessarily the quickest route between two points, after I waded into the damp undergrowth only to emerge back onto a track that took me close to GZ.
I noticed a geotrail, and soon had the container in hand.
Most of the applied color camo has come off, but natural camo remains.

Compass in this location has us running around in circles, but we finally spotted what we looking for and had the cache in hand. Thanks

Heymissjo and I had been here before, some nine months ago.
That day we collected some memories and a DNF.
This was different.
It was our rest day after a weekend at the Wangaratta Mega.
The Geo-Pup had been pampered at the resort around corner.
Geo-Bug and Geo-Ninja were also in tow. Geo-Ninja and I reflected on the Black Saturday memorial near the picnic shelter.
Bushfires...
This catastrophic force of nature was on the forefront of people's minds for years.
It felt like half the country was burning down - initially with Black Saturday, and then more recently with the Black Summer of 2019/20.
But that was then...
That was before the humidity of La Nina and a little thing called Covid.
Now the Minis can't seem to recall any bushfires.
I'm sure they aren't the only ones...
We've all been through so much in recent times, but we ought not forget the cycles of the past. So, at home tonight, we will screen the ABC mini series, 'Fires' for our Minis. It was such a great production.
As for the cache, all is well. We didn't even use our GPS today as we knew where to look. It was good to see that, so far, Mr Wombat has resisted the urge to steal this container.
Hopefully it a sign that he's chosen to give up Sistema-based crime and decided to go straight.
Thanks, rossvdv.

Nice to change this from a blue frown to a yellow smily. Last year The Welder and I had come to collect it due to the unlove, but a friendly wombat had decided to claim the cache for his own.
Today we happened to be in the area, collecting geo-pup from near by holiday camp as we have been away at the Wangaratta Mega… and oh what a fabulous weekend it was!! Catching up with old friend, making new ones and achieving some new milestones!

Nice testing support.
But of Wombat activity, but the cache is just fine.

Tftc rossdv. On our way back from Nagambie to Moe, this cache needed to fill a gap in the Well Travelled cacher series. Wombat has just taken up residence!
Not many caches left in my 5km so I'm rationing them... all good at gz, no sign of the wombat. TFTC
We are on our way to Flowerdale Estate for a couple of days and taking the opportunity for a few caches on the way. Having found we headed across the road to the Castella Central Park for a short walk and a quick find. Heading back to the carpark we decided to make a stop for lunch. Quite a few eastern spinebills and wrens nearby as we ate. Thanks to rossvdv for the cache.
On my way down to the footy thought I'd call in here, think I found it before but no smiley on my map so I headed out to make sure.
Thanks for a cool cache and to break up the drive

Replaced cache, I think a small wombat or something similar may have taken the last one. New cache is in a slightly different spot to last cache to avoid the same problem, however still much the same gps coordinates.
Heymissjo and I thought we'd try to clean out the Unlove that had built up here, but sadly I think a resident wombat may have beaten us to it!
Thanks all the same, it's a lovely area to stop at with many equine friendly features.

What I thought would be a quick drive by with The Welder ended up being a sad blue frown. Can’t find it, likely gone from an obvious hide spot. CO may need to check.
I've been meaning to have a shot at this one for quite a while and figured that today might be the best time to do so to close out a great week of motorcycle touring.
I parked on the side of the road and took the short stroll to GZ where I soon had the stash in hand at 15:40.
TNLNSL. Thanks rossvdv.

Great find. Love the bush setting and great walk. Great way to stretch the legs
We're traveling from Bunyip to Kotupna near Echuca to spend the long weekend with mates but since it's Friday and M is supposed to be working, we had to stop so he could attend a teleconference. This rest area popped up at just the right time and after a quick lunch, he took care of that while I wandered around the walking tracks enjoying the break and collecting the nearby geocaches.

We’ve passed this location quite often, never with enough time to stop and look at the caches in the vicinity. Today we had time to explore, but I was quite exhausted and it was getting very warm and smokey from the bushfires. We easily found a car park and ventured off to find a track to lead us the picnic area which was next to the track. The maps on the app didn’t quite relate to reality, but my hunch to go down the hill proved correct. We found the side track and headed across the hill till the numbers got to a place where the finding device indicated that we were pretty close. He headed to one likely looking cache location, I to another. He was right.... this time. I was too exhausted to look for the one over the road.
Out and about with AESPL for work. Stopped off for a break. Nice easy find. Watch out for the jumping ants. TFTC.
On the way back from Melbourne, we decided to go the back way and find some caches. This was our second for the day. After reading the information on the signs, we went to the cache, after the short walk, I saw a spot that was obviously housing the cache. Sure enough, two seconds later, the cache was in hand, signed and returned. TFTC
I found this cache on another trip up to see my mum in Mulwala. This time taking a slightly different route than usual, to grab some earthcaches that I had been eying off and to attempt a find on an older cache (ended up getting a DNF).
Upon finding a park and making my way over to the obvious spot, I found the cache easily as I gently tip toed through the long grass. TFTC!

Since the weather forecast was rubbish for today we decided to spend a lot of our free afternoon driving and headed off to search for a long sought after project we had spent a lot of time working on. It was pretty cold but no wind at all and the whole day we managed to avoid the rain totally so it worked out well.
Some years ago we found a cache just across the road from here but today this was a regular size that Fleabag- needed to build his count up on so we stopped here for a quick break and Fleabag- made the find. We forgot the pen as usual for the first cache of the day but luckily there was one in the cache.
Thanks rossvdv for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

It said it was 6 degrees outside and it felt ii as Spiffy- and I made our way very briskly to the nice hide. Thank you
Congratulations rossvdv on your first hide. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks rossvdv for the cache.
Dropped past this one on the trip home from a family gathering.
The kids had a great time running around looking for it.
Container could use a re-paint but otherwise a fun find.
Thank you

In the area for work today, so got up a little earlier and took a 30min stroll. Ac couple of nice quick finds and managed to dodge the rain. TFTC rossvdv
with my husband and lovely place its nice walk around nature and its lovely day walk
Needed a leg stretch and had no idea this memorial was here. The plaques certainly highlight the severity & devastation. Cannot believe it was 9 years ago! Cache is in great nick. Thanks for placing it for us to find. Fav for location.
Great for a tramp through the bush. Has a pencil in the cache fortunately for us. TFTC
Thanks Rossvdv for the Welcome to Country and also for getting us to stop at Castella Central Park. What a delightful spot for a stroll! A short walk from the carpark and we were soon in the vicinity of the cache hide where Mr Ozjeeper had a quick, easy find. Thanks for bringing us here.
