This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Was 5 minutes away from going to find this one when I got the disabled notice! That’s too bad. Look forward to checking this out later.
Didn’t read logs before attempting, tree gone, cache gone, no idea where it has ended up, may need to be archived
Tree gone and unlike previous post, no cache in the open - had a quick look around but didn't spend heaps of time to see if was in alternative location.
Found it but the tree has been cut down and the cache was out in the open. TFTC
Badja and Badja Jnr out for a drive for lunch at the Jugiong pub, The George. First cache found in years.
Had a brief wander around the cemetery until the cool wind drove us to the cafe for lunch. Cache was quickly to hand and log signed. TFTC
TFTC SL TNL a swap.
Yes geobunny needed to hop high to spot this one. Cheers Nannymo & Tigersden for taking me to this location

Quick and easy find it with sevabo and we are on the way to Wagga Wagga for the weekend. TFTH
I rode my small motorcycle right through the open cemetery gates and came to a rest between the lanes of headstones. This didn't seem like the kinda place that received many visitors, so I wasn't worried about blocking the turnaround.
The cemetery looked like something out of the old west, like boot hill. Some of the graves were simply marked with a wooden cross, engraved with the names of those who were buried there.
I wandered around, struggling to get a fix on the coordinates. Then I read the hint and followed the clues, right to the cache and where I had looked, apparently not close enough before.
Thanks for the find.

On the way to Coota and thought a stop at the cemetery might be just the ticket. A quick find. Off to the bakery ...

After a hot night camped at jugiong the morning brought cooling breeze and time to get out and grab a cache. Nice size cache and a TB as a bonus will take it onwards. Tftc
Does God demand more gold coins if you are buried on the hill with a view ?
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks nannymo & tigersden and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

A trip from Canberra to Melbourne to see my loved one and help her move into our future home together. I had often thought of pulling into Jugiong on my regular drives and so this time I did exactly that.
Reaching the cemetery I parked opposite on the road and sussed it out. A mourning muggle was set up at a grave just near the entrance, obviously visiting with someone lost and loved. I soon worked out that GZ was quite close to her. I nearly abandoned the quest, but decided to drive up to the entrance and see if it was possible to make a find without disturbing here. I quickly spotted GZ, hopped out of the car and saw the cache. Luckily the feature at GZ provided a shield, so I did not disturb the mourning muggle and she could not see what I was up to. I quickly signed, returned and left her to her remembrances. TFTC

Dropped into Jugiong to meet friends for lunch and we had time to try and find a cache or two. Thanks
After a failure at the nearby Old Entry cache it was good to actually spot this container as we pulled up.
First for the day, a day which had to be more about travelling and unfortunately less about caching.
Thanks.

Thanks nannymo and tigersden. Nice day for geocaching too. The warbles of kookaburras and other native birds was great to hear.
Found with MrsVault101 on a sunny winter day. Lots of swaps but we TNLN just SL. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot nannymo and tigersden!
It was a nice easy find after turning off the road and enjoying the spacious parking. It was quite saddening though to see the nearby grave of a teenager who died after being concussed during a game of rugby league. Thanks for the cache!
What a beautiful spot for a cemetery!
Cache quickly found and sitting on a rustic bench nearby examining its secrets I heard the gentle sound of wind chimes over a nearby grave.
A perfect accompaniment.
Log signed, treasure left.

Found with LetThemEatCache. On our way to Sydney from Melbourne for MIL's 87th birthday. Love a cemetery cache, but didn't have time this stop to explore the interesting inhabitants & their final resting spot. TFTC.
Big kookaburra was sitting in the old gum tree. I almost broke into song, but then remembered where I was, so a bit of decorum was called for. TFTC

There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
I love cemeteries, the history, the artistry, the ambience... This one has some interesting structures which I would have loved to explored further, but we were on a mission and didn't have a whole lot of time to stay at anyone cache for long. Tftc nannymo & tigersden!!!

A canberra caching invasion of Tumut this weekend, saw dty73, Tankengine, Mtrax, Joolay and myself stopping for this cache. Logs signed our caching team name, CBR5.
Love a cemetery cache... this is a great cemetery, up along the hillside, loved it!

An amazing part of Jugiongs history, so many family names as well as some that look like rellies, even the same spelling.
Very interesting as we are traveling from Western Australia, and came across the family names )
Thanks for sharing this interesting historical spot.

Last find of the morning on the way home from the MEGA. Nice and quiet here and the largish cache was easily found and all is in good order.
Cheers

This is a lovely little cemetery just outside the town. The was cache found easily and retrieved with a scratch or two to my arm. I’ll survive! Country cemeteries are a wealth of resources. This was very well kept and nurtured. The cache was in good condition and contents dry.
With our stay at the mega at an end we passed this on our way home with this being our second cache and second state for the day. Nice quick find along our run home.
Thanks nannymo & tigersden for the cache.

After spending a long weekend in Canberra it was time to head back home. I decided that I would hit a few stops on the way.
I had to wait for the lawn mower to go up the hill to retrieve the cache. A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

Caching day with Crank1 on our way home after the Mega event, thank you so much for placing it.
On our way home from the Mega and called into town to collect a few smilies. Cache found and secure. TFTC SL
This was a fairly quick driveby. We decided to do it as some of tigersden caches are being archived. So we added this one to our tally and ended up doing about 6 caches in the Jugiong area.

We are on our way to Canberra for the Mega event and this was day 3 heading from Wodonga to Canberra stopping for a few caches along the way with three of us caching as JAM (JJ52, Aussie M&M and mogni) [^]
A quick find here today but no time to spend looking around the cemetery.
Thanks for the cache Nannymo & tigersden.

Out with JJ52 and Aussie M & M for a huge day 3 of travel to the Mega near Canberra. We are caching as JAM to save taking up space in all the caches we find. Todays leg was Wodonga to the Mega. Another glorious day for travelling and much fun and laughter was had. The ladder was well used and no injuries were had.
Thanks to nannymo from mogni

It was getting towards dark and we wanted "just one more" to fill a souvenir requirement. This was a quick grab for us, but not a quick visit as a nappy change was required... nevermind. TFTC
Lots of swaps here. Spotted a great little collectable then realised it was the log book! LOL TFTC Well located, always interesting to check out the dead centre of town!
Today the grumpy workers weren't in sight so I had another go at this one. I was perplexed at heavenly music seemingly emanating from the newish resident there and walked round and round trying to work it out. Indeed, it was heavenly - a set of chimes in the tree. Nice hide, thank you.
6:43pm
No one around the cemetery to interrupt making the find. Not too many places it could have been so found it pretty quick.
TFTC, TNLN Cheers.

After seeing an event pop up at Jugiong, fitzy_1965 and I decided to camp at Oura Beach and hold our own event the next day. We headed off early Saturday morning with three of my geo-kids, Lovetherabbitohs, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Most logs were signed as MK, F65 & geokids.
We arrived early into Jugiong so I was able to convince fitzy_1965 to let me collect some caches that he already have. Quick park and grab here today with the help of lovetherabbitohs.

I noticed there was an event in Jugiong this Saturday, and had decided to go to that, then noticed one the next day, with overnight camping beforehand, at Oura Beach - so I decided that this weekend would be a Geocaching weekend ... so, as I was out somewhere else on Friday evening, I got up on Saturday morning and packed camping gear and food, and all my other stuff, and drove from Canberra to the "A Country Town Event #1 Jugiong", then while I was there I found a cache nearby (that I had not found when I was here and looked for it 2 years earlier) then after that event, I went and found a few more in Jugiong, then headed over toward Wagga Wagga to camp overnight, for the the "Come to Oura Camping Event!" which was officially on Sunday morning ... hung around after and found a nearby cache, had a swim and lunch, then found the cache in Oura, before I headed out to Kapooka to find a couple caches there (I had not been there, or even to Wagga Wagga (apart from driving through the edge of town on my way to camp at Oura beach - lol), since I did my Army recruit training back in 1987) then I headed back past Oura (decided that was a more interesting way to go home) and found a few caches here and there on my drive home to Canbera ... and my last find on the way home (between Murrumbateman and Canberra) was actually just after Midnight - oops? - lol
TFTC - I was just about to replace this when a car pulled up nearby ... uh oh? ... oh - no worries - it was Gliss coming to look for it to

Was in Jugiong today for a geocaching event. Dropped past here on the way out of the town. Found the cache quickly enough and added a few swaps. Then took the time to wander around the cemetery checking out the grave stones. Now I must admit, I haven't been to many cemeteries but I can't remember one being on a hill like this. Just seemed odd. Why here and why have some up the hill like that? I also heard a wind chime but I don't know where it was. TFTC
With a busy Sunday ahead of me, I decided on having some fun by attending the Caching event at Jugiong and collecting some caches that have been on the to-do-list for quite some time. I started my day by doing a detour to collect the caches in the middle of nowhere and then I drove around Jugiong collecting the other ones. I then attended the event and headed home via Cootamundra to collect a newish cache over there to get it off my to-do-list. TB visit on all found caches and as much maintenance was done as possible. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found and for the fun it brought me today. TFTC’s
