TaurusSix and I are back in this forest for another cache hunt. We parked at the “usual” place, and got a car full of mossies as our reward. Auroguard was put into action on ourselves.
The walk in was pleasant. We walked to the familiar gate cross road and down the road less travelled. We walked past this cache to get another farther away, with the plan to return for this one on the way back.
We were on the way back and diverted to this GZ. At GZ TaurusSix spotted the hide. I went in to sign the log, and get attacked by a hoard of mossies.
Once back on the move the mossies left us alone.
We admired the pretty, but pest, flowers as we neared completion of the walk.

Hi there Moneybox.

We found your cache **"Bigfoot's lost his nut."** today. (This makes our find count 23593).
Following through on our passion of walking around parks, lakes and along walking tracks we decided to attempt some caches in and around the Tuart Forest National Park today. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the scenery. We found 8 caches today & DNF'd 0. (We would have ventured further to log more caches, but a couple of phone calls had us returning to Bunbury earlier than anticipated).

Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thank you Moneybox for adding to our adventure.

Regards

Ian & Penny

Struep and me had some time and were near this area, so we decided to discover Tuart Forest for a bit. We were so happy to do so, as the caches turned out to be quite beautiful!!
We found the nut for Bigfoot, but the cache is unfortunately replaced by a bigger standard container.

Thanks for this series!

Did a special cachetour with Schnex through the Tuart Forest.
Unfortunately the nut is out of order and another container is there.

Went nuts trying to find a path for the geotruck to get to the GZ... Got there eventually, and dragged the kids through the scrub for the last little bit. This was where we started to dislike the local Austracantha minax.... They're not scary, but highly annoying to walk into, and seemed to be around in huge numbers at around head height.

TFTH TFTC! Day one of a huge caching trip with Barnzy12 to Bunbury for the weekend, an area we haven't ventured to for far too long with so many green dots on the map just waiting to be found.
We started off by grabbing all of the newly published ooh yeh heading south caches which hopefully one day can make their way all the way to Bunbury, and luckily they were positioned where they were with the newly installed fixed point to point camera nearby which may have nabbed us otherwise.
We got to Bunbury after grabbing a nearby archived team red roo cache and went to complete the skippy in the bush series which was a lovely walk around some suburban bushland with a great variety of plants and vegetation for us to see. All containers bar the disabled one found without issue. I might have to ask you where you get your magnets for the mint tins as they are highly effective baffle!!
We then grabbed a bunch of park and grabs around town which were pretty stock standard.
We then drove down to the Ludlow Forrest to complete the Bigfoot series of caches and some others in the bush. It was a lovely drive around on the 4x4, which handled the bush nicely even with a few obstacles. The highlight of the day was some ripper money box hides including big foots ATM, which lived up to the normal team money box standard
We closed out the first day with some park and grabs around town at dusk and into the evening. Thanks to the local COs for their caches so far..

Inspired by the previous day's magical walk through the Ludlow Forest, I returned to discover more of the interesting caches in the area. I saw packs of kangaroos out today, some of them were only a few metres away before I even noticed them. Such a variety of things to discover out here. This was the last find of the day. Wow, that was a good walk! Thanks Moneybox for bringing out to the Ludlow Forest once again.

We found all the caches but we didnt do as many as planned as we were soaking wet and decided to call it a day at 1.30pm. Most caches were found quickly and some were very creative. TFTC Moneybox
