I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
It was time to assemble Team BOP as I hadn't seen these crazy people since the Mega. The plan was Taranaki via the Forgotten World Highway and we were all pretty excited about it. It was a big couple of days so forgive the cut'n'paste logs as I'm logging retrospectively and a few of the hides are starting to blur together. Not this one though - search and searched - no joy. Needs some CO TLC
Had a good poke around for ages, unfortunately not there for us today. Thanks anyway.
Ein neuer Tag ein neuer Ausflug zusammen mit "apaspa". Es gab Erfolge und Misserfolge.
Alles abgesucht und dann mit hängenden Mundwinkeln das Weite gesucht.

Here for a few days with a cycle group from Tauranga... and to get a few smileys while we are here. Came back for this cache as a family were sitting nearby enjoying their dinner in the mild evening sun. Found the cache well placed so no problems. Cache is all good. No guns or roses or even an Axel.... TFTC
TFTC......staying in an airbnb close by and picking up a few caches in the area. We are loving New Zealand and caching in your beautiful country. Visiting from Sask. Canada
Found at 08:58.
Our second trip to New Zealand. This time we explore the North Island for 3 weeks. This was one cache we found.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache tommygun9

First find for the day while also watching the local firemen putting out a scrub fire near the railway tracks(it was not us!).
Day 5 of my road trip for WENZ Mega. Back to Wanganui from Taranaki today.
This was on my to do list as it was placed on one of just 3 days left to complete my placed date grid, so thanks for replacing.
All seemed quiet at GZ but several muggles use this to walk dog or kids. I had the wrong tree initially, but soon found well hidden at the right one.
Thanks for the smilie tommygun9.

A quick look tonight by torch light didn't reveal anything - as long as I was looking around the right tree. The GPS was saying I was at the right GZ. Hopefully it hasn't been muggled. Cheers.
Having come down from the Belt Rd Holiday Camp to complete the nearby EarthCache I couldn’t help but have a look for this one.
Thanks tommygun9 for the geocache!

Found with a 'missing' TB.
quick easy find. Girls liked exploring the bunker and then flew Soso's home made kite on the beach.

Found and signed log while driving around the North Island while touring around from Australia.....TFTC
Found during a bike ride along this very pleasant pathway. It helped having a bike to lean at GZ and cover my activities somewhat. Thanks tommygun9.
We found no guns, nor any roses, but we did find one cache. Tftc. MattyH from Tassie
This was our last cache for the day on our little mission around state highway 45 ending up down here on the coast. We found plenty of geocaches and got to visit lots of interesting places.
Nice quick find and probably a bit easier than the DT rating for us anyway, no complaints though. The cache is a little damp but log was signable - saw we weren't the first visitor today. The listed TB is not in the cache.
Thanks for this cache in an interesting spot. All present and correct.

Found on our bike ride this morning along the waterfront. The cache was rather wet - sorry we didn't have a cloth with us to wipe it out.
Please note: there were not trackables in the cache today.

It took a little while to figure out this cache's location, but managed to do so at1205Hr on 08 Nov 2017. I swapped TBs!
I was visiting New Plymouth for the weekend with a few other Westies from Auckland. We had a good look but came up empty
After two dnfs (due to bad weather only spending 5 minutes searching at each) this was a nice easy find. Left some swag. TFTC
Cache # 3,855 - easy find this morning with Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. Lovely day, and the mountain was out. Log book needs replacing - almot full and falling apart. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. Thanks!

This cache was on my way to an event on the waterfront of New Plymouth and I just couldn't go past without signing it off.
Out: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

A lucky find after cache had inadvertently muggled by a public member cleaning up reserve. Pure luck that they had seen us searching and returned cache to us. Thought we were going crazy! Tftc.
Great weather today so had to get out and get caching. GPS not working properly so relied on the hint which was all that was needed. Dropped off a TB. TFTC
Great little cache with some fantastic swag. Came here to have a look at the buoy that washed up. Unfortunately there was no sign of the trackable.

End of caching ride. Last one for the day. Tks for pointing out the bunker. Tftc.
Found with Trayc.g, logging now as I have my own account. I remember we had a great day at the beach that day.
After a swim at the beach nearby with the family we had to come find this cache before we headed home. TFTC
Continued on my walk along the bike path to get one final cache. Managed to find it quite quickly. Thanks!
Quick find while walking along the extended coastal walkway. I wouldn't even have realised this is a bunker!
Thanks for the cache, TAV-KH

Today was day three of a four day ‘camp’ I have been fortunate enough to lead and organize for the ‘SJCgeocamp’ group. The SJCgeocamp group consisted of ten motivated fourteen-year-old boys who had chosen to join me and another adult for a trip to New Plymouth to experience Geocaching for the first time during their school camp week. I really enjoyed researching the trip which consisted of a variety of geocache types, sizes and difficulties in a variety of locations, some more challenging to get to than others. We were after quality rather than quantity and mostly visited geocaches with a high numbers of favorites and by CO’s with good reputations for providing unique hides. Thanks to all the cache owners, the boys had a great time.
It took the boys a while to find this one, but they got there in the end. Thanks for highlighting this unique piece of history.

GPS has taken me the long way home from the Mega. Finding some good caches along the way, TFTC
