There is no need to climb into trees or bush your feet can and should remain on grass next to path base is at waist height LOKKY1
no obvious spots, felt bad given the amount of kauri around, didn’t want to be climbing into bush
Could reach any ferns from the track. Didn't want to walk off the track around the kauri and put them at risk of die back!
Good find risky with all the little muggles around but found cache wide open and Missing the log book. Didn't have paper on me to replace
This cache needs to be removed. No one should be off track near these Kauri trees. Kauri die back is very real. Please re hid.
3 of us looking, how hard can this be, we got 1 gps to settle and there was the cache, tftc
Discovered this little box today. It was an easy find. Tftc says Mafrika from Germany
Met up with TheWonderStuff this morning to go caching out West and add a few more gemstones to our collections. GPS pointed to other side of track, but no real obvious places to search. After looking in a few spots I finally located the cache.
We parked a short way along Atkinson Ave from the path to GZ. Walked in and had to check a couple of examples of the hint before spotting the cache. Thanks.
Started at wrong side of the path. Reading previous logs helps. Then cache in hand quick. TFTC
When is a ponga a punga. Always, as apparently it is the same thing. Anyway after looking on the wrong side of the path we located it quickly. TFTC
After searching on the wrong side of the path through all the cut grass, we were about to give up before we spotted the likely GZ on the other side. It was then quickly in hand! Tftc!
#6413. Staying with the inlaws at Green Bay for the New Year period. Had time to do a few caches this morning before the New Year feast. Parked on Atkinson Rd where I didn't see any spray available for shoes to reduce kauri dieback disease. So was concerned how close this cache is to a lovely old kauri specimen. Not sure we should be placing caches this close to kauri trees. Anyway tried to avoid the kauri roots on the way in to the GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks lokky1 for the cache but maybe you should think about a slight shift here to a spot that wont put the old tree at risk.
Found on an evening stroll with kiwitrecker1 . Located after a bit of scratching round (but not too long). Will continue to the next one here. TFTC!
Managed to find the cache ok, but as others have mentioned it is very close to a young kauri tree. Took care to come in from the side away from the kauri and made sure we did our shoes both in and out. TFTC
Found today with Team Welsh, beautiful Kauri on this track. It does concern me the close proximity of the cache to the Kauri Tree, be very careful if you go to retrieve this and remember to scrub and spray!!!!
A nice quick find in the first place I looked. I took great care around the nearby kauri, tree hopefully it stays healthy and strong
DNFed a nearby cache and having come across to get a couple of cold drinks to console ourselves we noticed that there was a nearby cache to come and have a look for. Found the entrance down to the park easily enough and walked down the path to GZ to look for the cache.
At GZ had a look around and saw a few possible plausible hiding places but in the end we chose, and chose wisely as the cache was found in the likeliest spot.
There are a few young kauri here, I hope they are OK given all of the trouble with the disease, cachers should make sure they have super clean shoes.
Thanks for the cache, all good here.

Hi ya! Found it! Cute little stash (and a good idea for a container!) - rehidden as found. Didn't have a pen, so will come back later to fill in the logbook! Thanks
Aha! Got it Thank you.
But thanks to you I had an overwhelming need to go and buy some delicious peanut M&Ms from the nearby dairy! Ha ha ha

Found it after some help from hints but the emmenem songs helped sweeten the find.
just checked as john gillons logs were coming thru, yes still in place waiting to be found
Been searching for this in and off for a few months now and still no sign. Is it still there?
After finding the first smile I headed to GZ to find a second smile. With about 20 ponga in the area - half of them on a slippery slope and the other half near a stream - and my GPS bouncing around, it took a while to track it down, but I got there eventually! The cache is definitely there and in great condition considering it hasn't been found in 4 months. Picked up TB. TFTC
As I was leaving the couple and dog who interrupted me at "LOKKY's chip in the glade" passed me, so I decided to head back for another look...

started on wrong side of path but CO pointed to correct side for a quick find, tftc
Teamed up this morning with yorkshirekiwi83 to find a few caches around the Titirangi area. Parked on Kawaka Street and took a walk around the reserve to find the 3 caches in here. A quick find at GZ. TFTC!

Out to drop one of the kids off at a friend's house today and I thought a quick stop might might be in order. TFTC! #700
A picturesque piece of bush. There were a few options here but soon narrowed it down to the correct speciman and located the smily cache. TFTC!
GPS had me on the wrong side of the path initially, but a helpful hint from Nebulenz set me right. After checking a few likely locations the smiley was spotted. TFTC!
I had to search quite a few of the hinted at places before I finally came up with this cache. Everything is OK here. TFTC.
I was walking past yesterday so had a quick look. Not been found in a while... Everything okay here!
After finding #1, it would be rude of me not to complete the series and find #2. Nice day for a walk in the bush, and not have to stray too far. Picked up a TB. TFTC
Reasonably quick find when I figured which one hint referred to. Had to evade midget muggles as well. Best not to go down there during kids playtime. Great little walk to a place I'd never been to before. Thanks Andy. Dropped T B off as well.Cheers V.
Initially found myself on the wrong side of the path looking at a couple of likely options, but after not finding anything I swapped sides and had the cache in hand nice and quickly. Nice easy walk to this one, TFTC
I waited till after school, so that all the little ones would be gone, and hopefully no problems with parking. A short walk to GZ, what a beautiful little place it is, the birds are singing! (yeah the kids have gone home for the day LOL)
The GPS had me in the middle of the path! some head scratching, a few walks up and down, then approached the likely area, and it was. Love the camo container, it put a smile on the face, luckily I have seen this camo before

Found safe and sound where it is meant to be. Took a coin and left a coin. What great caches!
