Found with Tyred n Cranky
In Ballarat for the 2 Months to Mega Event.
After the event and a small amount of shopping we decided to brave the lovely Ballarat weather and go for a walk along this trail.

Find No. 1495. Found with FUF009 at 3.47pm
In Ballarat for the day to attend the 2 Months to the Surf Coast Event. Then after the event we went and done this series. Parked the car near Number One and off we walked.
Had to wait a few minutes here as a muggle was getting out of a car. Luckily he walked across the road and didn't wait for a bus. A quick find to the start of this series. Now off we go to the next one.

Our last day in Ballarat before we head back to Melbourne to catch the boat back to Tassie. We've really enjoyed our caching holiday. Thank you to all the CO's for taking the trouble to hide the caches that make such a holiday possible
1:40:00 PM. Being a cold day we decided to tackle this series. Spotted the cache as soon as we walked up. Log signed and wrote down the number in case it meant something. Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache.
Found 16/3/16.
Wahoo! Last cache for this series - well except the final, but that will have to wait til after dinner.
In my absolute determination to get this series done before dinner (and subsequent rush) I forgot to hit the time/date in the ap to save my log. Now, I'm not sure what time we were actually here - only that I was late for dinner. Oops.
Thanks Shamus1 for bringing us out here.

TFTC. Ah, so this is number one, maybe we should have started here ...
Cannot believe how hard this was due to the new lights right opposite to do this one with stealth. Lucky we had time to read the bus timetable.

I ended up doing this series three times today :
(i) the first time to sign the logs;
(ii) a second time when I realized there were number clues here for another puzzle;
(iii) and a third time when I realized that during the second round I had picked up the numbers from the logsheets rather than from the lids. Probably because at #1 there was an unmatched number on the logsheet (not a one) that led me to believe those were the clues.
One down - 9 to go. TFTC.

Heading over to Ballarat for a caching weekend and picking up a few caches on the way.
We managed to find about 230 caches in 3 days/ot bad work for 3 old guys
Out on the bikes to get this series. It didn't take too long and we only had trouble at number 3 where the dog was yapping and the kids were playing on the other side of the fence. We left it and came back and found it on our way back.
A nice series of caches and a pleasant way to stretch out after the long drive over.

Today Dunko and I headed to Ballarat with the intention of reaching and passing 9000 finds,
our mile stone was met what a great day of caching fun we had with 69 terrific caches found during our travels many thanks to Shamus1 for the effort and placement of this cache. TNLN SL

Set off today with my caching buddy Slink1 to try and reach a mile stone number (9000) and I am pleased to say that we made that number and a few past (to be sure we counted correctly!). This cache was found as part of our effort to reach our milestone and my thanks go to Shamus1 for the placement and maintenance of this cache. We had a lot of fun and some laughs along the way.

With a day off from working the weekend and a leave pass granted, all that was left for me to do, was pack up the geo vehicle with supplies including the 2 wheel manual vehicle and I was off at the crack of dawn. My day started at 5:30am and finished 225+ kilometres later at 5:30pm. 60+ caches found for the day and a few DNF's.
I had finished my mission along the Rail Trail and now it was time to make my way into Ballarat. I had done one of this series previously and now it was time to do the rest. I wish I did them In order after I read the details for the final. Not where I first thought it was. Lucky no one around for me to grab this one. Now for the final.... Stamped returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache and series, Shamus 1. [^]
Log and container in good condition.

Thanks for the Cache and thanks for the series. Finally got an opportunity to nick back and get this cache and finish off the series.
Revisited for clues. Managed to do this series except final in 1hr. Has been moved so logging as a found so consider as a new find and not a duplicate. Completely different type of hide. Started this series on Melbourne Cup Day but ran out of time. Staying in the area for 3 days this time so sent hubby to playground with the kids and set off from the southern end in the reverse direction from last time. The sun as hot but I had plenty of water. Remembered to get clues from caches this time. Nice quick find. Thanks to this challenge I have now done the Jasmer (Alphanumeric cache name) Challenger.
Found by The Empire
Time to go for a walk. I headed out on the walk solo, but would soon be joined by cachers who would really help me finish the series. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you! Thanks for the cache, Shamus1.

Found It...Found this one while up here in the company of Robynonthego The_Tritonz and Wozzle68. After arriving at GZ the CO met us as the cache was missing and he had replaced it so a short search soon had the log in hand and with it signed we continued down the trail . Thanks Shamus1 for the cache
Completed the number series with H3, The_Tritonz and Wozzle68. We had met CO Shamus1 during our walk and he had just replaced this muggled cache and we were able to complete this series. Now off to the final GZ.

Our third attempt here after a failed mission or two previously. Thanks Shamus1 for replacing this cache promptly.
Searched through the prickles for half an hour. Sat at the nearby bus shelter to make guesses for the final without this value but failed on that too.
Attempted to complete this series on a sultry evening, although we could not find this one. either our eyes were failing or it is become lost within the blackberries. Thanks for the cache and the series.
A simple series to stretch the cycling legs before commencing the 550km Great Victorian Bike Ride.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Our 4th day camped at Creswick, and today we decided to go to Ballarat to do a few trails.
This was our last series for the day, and we hoped to get them all, but it was not to be.
Most were found quickly, and the clue jotted down.
Number one took us the longest to find, and we did not find a clue in it.
The barking dog at number 3, cut our search short and we settled for a DNF.
An excellent location and the walk was pleasant, for this small series of well placed hides.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, Shamus1, for us and others to find.

We are on a road trip to attend "The Melbourne Event" Mega, taking our time to get there and on the return journey. Fortunately, there were lots of caches along the way to tempt us to stop for a while to smell the roses. This was one of those caches.
We had made our way to Ballarat to attend the GIFF Event and to spend a few days in the area before heading off to Melbourne. We decided we would complete some caches while in the area. We found the cache easily enough and with name in the log book, we were off to find a few more.
Thank you Shamus1 for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy

On the way home from Hall's Gap my wife had some shopping to do, so I started walking this series. Took me a while to spot this one. Almost gave up, but signed the log at 1:25pm!
thanks Shamus1
thanks Shamus1
I thought this one might be missing as there was an attachment nearby, then looked up to tell Morcs4 and saw the actual cache. Nice one. Thanks Shamus1.
We are visiting from other side of Melbourne with Vanessa&Aodh (we met through caching) and stayed nearby overnight visit for some dedicated caching time. The weather has turned into a beautiful day instead of the drizzle of yesterday. We have 3 kids between 5-7yo . Did some the Challenge caches before heading back to finish the Symbol Series and then going to do some more Challenge Puzzle caches. Then off to the Number Series to get "4" to finish another challenge and collect a few others. I will be back to collect the rest as I need to complete the AlphaNumerical List. Thank you for providing the numbers for this. Vanessa made a quick find. TFTC
Took a while of searching - I think I was over thinking it! And then gave up and then thought - no just one more look and there it was - so obvious actually!!
I'm sure I saw a cache magically appear before my eyes. I have searched for this twice before, this time I looked for ages and still couldn't see it. I expanded my search, then returned to GZ and low and behold the cache was staring at me. It must have almost bitten me on the nose the other times. TFTC Shamus1.
Couldn't find this one. Looking at the previous few logs, I didn't have high hopes.
Today we had some time to spare before meeting up with #GeoHulk to attack some of the BSRT series
We found all in the series OK except for No 1, although the coordinates for some caused us to broaden our search area somewhat. We found it an interesting trail in that much of it is so exposed to muggle view - it is a wonder to us that the caches have survived muggling.
We could not find a cache here at all, despite two visits on 25th and 27th. A PAF confirmed its status, and kindly we were given the clue so we could complete the puzzle as that was the aim in choosing this series while visiting Victoria.

At last a weekend with some reasonable weather. Hopefully the first of many to come. It seemed like a perfect chance to log a few caches. I tried to choose some that would require a little bit of a walk too.
Had what I thought was a good poke around here, but no joy. I was here at about 9:10:00 AM but there was no sign of the cache. I wonder if it's still there? When I log a DNF it usually is.
Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache and bringing me here, even though I had no luck.

the Photo in the needs maintenace log is the old cache zip tie and the cache is in a diffant spot but will look at it asap
Tried looking for all these and couldn't find 1, 3 and 4. Found the cable tie where we believe this one used to be but was cut and cache was believed to be missing.
Had a bit of time to kill this morning, before attending the Black Hill CITO. Seeing as these caches had been recently re-enabled, this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Parked the car and headed out on foot. A very still morning, with a nice blanket of fog greeted me. Had a very pleasant walk here, thanks for the exercise. No luck here. Thanks for the hunt Shamus1 [B)]
Whoa! 12degrees and sunshine we just had to head out on the GeoBikes. A long hard day which ultimately ended up very cold.
We had a great day along the trails and really enjoyed the peaceful surrounds. Not a great fan of the wind chill factor riding back to the car though. lol.
After riding back to the car Mrs Felix jumped in the GeoCruiser and headed off to meet Mr Felix. She beat Mr Felix to this one so signed the log and headed off... That was until a 'phone call' did you.................. Brrr a revisit later. [|)]
Thanks Shamus1 for feeding our GeoAddiction!

Didn't realise there are so many dog walkers out there. Reckon I have said hello to all of them. Had to be quick but nabbed this one. Tftc
With such an abundance of caches on offer in Ballarat & as interstate visitors, only a couple of days to dedicate to finding them, we had to severely curtail our targetting. This was one series we picked as it fitted with our style: a little walking, away from pesky muggles & nano hides. Sweet! So off we toddled to start at, well One of course as everyone finishes at zero. As it turned out, this was the most muggly of them all, but who bothers with what pedestrians are up to when you're whipping past at 60 (or was it 50?)
Met up with Darth Briji and #GeoHulk for an assault on Ballarat. With 3 layers of clothing and a wind chill factor of about minus 3, we managed some great walks, lots of smilies and enough bison's in trees to last me a long time. A really great time with the boys and geodog Tess for company, Quickly spotted as we parked almost on GZ LOL. Thanks Shamus1
Up in Ballarat for the day with #GeoHulk & sorceysal converting some more caches into smiley faces.
Quickly spotted and clue noted.
Thanks Shamus1 for the cache
Log signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face

An adventurous day around Ballarat with Suscoe, Bushfire, Buckleysbabe and OzBob included the subterranean depths of Ballarat, the mire of Winter Swamp and paddling on Lake Wendouree. With some daylight remaining, it was onto the trusty treadlies to follow, catch and match all these numbers!
Our thanks to Shamus1 for bringing us here.

Had to drop someone off at Ballarat Base Hospital this morning and then found myself with a few hours to spare so what better way to spend it than go caching. I'm not normally out this way so had lots of choice from the plentiful local supply so I decided to have a go at a couple of short series starting with the numbers series. You are certainly out in the open for most of these finds and need to keep an eye out for dog walkers, builders and bike riders.
I was glad this one was not where I first thought it might be as I was contemplating walking away before finally spotting the fairly bold hide. Thanks for the cache Shamus1.

Found after school today. Thanks for the number series. Cheers Rehfisch Clan
Well after being muggled at every cache from 5 thru 2 by dog walkers, builders, gardeners I finally managed to pick up another find as the coast was clear. I will be back for those that I missed another day when the weather is a bit more pleasant. Thanks for this quick little series shamus1
