Find # 3561 @ 1602 H
Found with Tyred n Cranky
In Ballarat for the 2 Months to Mega Event.
After the event and a small amount of shopping we decided to brave the lovely Ballarat weather and go for a walk along this trail.
After having to pass by No.2 due to a muggle mowing and unable to find No.3 (but we did get it coming back) this one was a quick grab. although we did manage to forget to get any clues out of it. but one our return i got the info for the final from it.

Find No. 1496. Found with FUF009 at 4.02pm
In Ballarat for the day to attend the 2 Months to the Surf Coast Event. Then after the event we went and done this series. Parked the car near Number One and off we walked.
This was the second find in the series. What happened to 2 and 3 you may ask. Well at 2 there was a muggle mowing his grass. Onto 3 and with the barking dog not happy with us being there, we only had a very quick look and did not find it. Lucky for us at no. 3 there were trees that had large covering as it had decided to rain and we had to take shelter for a few minutes before continuing onto 4.
Another quick find at no. 4 and off we went to the next one.

Took the geodaughter for a walk to stretch the legs on what started as a freezing but sunny walk and finished up raining. Tftc and will come back to finish 9 and 10 another day.
Looking for a walk with caches and we stumbled onto this number series. Enjoyed the walk.
Thanks
Thanks
A day out caching in Ballarat, the weather looked promising, so decided to do this series. TFTC.
Our last day in Ballarat before we head back to Melbourne to catch the boat back to Tassie. We've really enjoyed our caching holiday. Thank you to all the CO's for taking the trouble to hide the caches that make such a holiday possible
2:46:00 PM. Being a cold day we decided to tackle this series. Had to come back to this one as a muggle was tending his veggie garden opposite as we walked down. Lucky for us he was gone when we returned. Log signed. Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache.
Found 16/3/16 @ 5:12 pm.
As with previous logs, I was out with FMS4 and TAJBentley caching around Ballarat. After completing a mystery at Lake Wendouree, we found this trail and the final, another mystery that I figured we could solve.
I had to be back for a work dinner at 6.30-7 so we were limited on time, but managed to make some quick finds along here. Well all except #3 which caised some issues.
Thanks Shamus1 for this quick series

I ended up doing this series three times today :
(i) the first time to sign the logs;
(ii) a second time when I realized there were number clues here for another puzzle;
(iii) and a third time when I realized that during the second round I had picked up the numbers from the logsheets rather than from the lids. Probably because at #1 there was an unmatched number on the logsheet (not a one) that led me to believe those were the clues.
Four down - 6 to go. TFTC.

Heading over to Ballarat for a caching weekend and picking up a few caches on the way.
We managed to find about 230 caches in 3 days/ot bad work for 3 old guys
Out on the bikes to get this series. It didn't take too long and we only had trouble at number 3 where the dog was yapping and the kids were playing on the other side of the fence. We left it and came back and found it on our way back.
A nice series of caches and a pleasant way to stretch out after the long drive over.

Set off today with my caching buddy Slink1 to try and reach a mile stone number (9000) and I am pleased to say that we made that number and a few past (to be sure we counted correctly!). This cache was found as part of our effort to reach our milestone and my thanks go to Shamus1 for the placement and maintenance of this cache. We had a lot of fun and some laughs along the way.

With a day off from working the weekend and a leave pass granted, all that was left for me to do, was pack up the geo vehicle with supplies including the 2 wheel manual vehicle and I was off at the crack of dawn. My day started at 5:30am and finished 225+ kilometres later at 5:30pm. 60+ caches found for the day and a few DNF's.
I had finished my mission along the Rail Trail and now it was time to make my way into Ballarat. I had done one of this series previously and now it was time to do the rest. I wish I did them In order after I read the details for the final. I was thinking this might take a while to find this one but thankfully it was fairly quick. Stamped returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache and series, Shamus 1. [^]
Log and container in good condition.

The sun is out and we enjoying a walk in the sunshine ... Spotted this one quite quickly and onto the next one

As the weather cleared for a bit we set off down the old rail trail. We skipped 1 so started with 2. No really issues with any of the hides except as others noted 8 is out by about 10m. A few dog walking muggles about. A pleasant little walk. All logs signed and re hid. TFTC.
Revisited to get clues. Started this series on Melbourne Cup Day but ran out of time. Staying in the area for 3 days this time so sent hubby to playground with the kids and set off from the southern end in the reverse direction from last time. The sun as hot but I had plenty of water. Remembered to get clues from caches this time. Nice quick find thus time. Thanks to this challenge I have now done the Jasmer (Alphanumeric cache name) Challenger.
Found by The Empire
Time to go for a walk. I headed out on the walk solo, but would soon be joined by cachers who would really help me finish the series. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you! Thanks for the cache, Shamus1.

Found It...Found this one while up here in the company of Robynonthego The_Tritonz and Wozzle68. After arriving at GZ a short search soon had the log in hand and with it signed we continued down the trail . Thanks Shamus1 for the cache
Our second attempt here after a failed mission previously. Thanks Shamus1 for the series.
Found @21:14 with Geo Puppy while waiting for darkness to do annual Ballarat Christmas light tour.
Quick easy find without muggles, unlike #'s 1 & 3.
SL Thanks for the cache series and the enjoyable walk.

Attempted to complete this series on a sultry evening, although we could not find the first cache. either our eyes were failing or it is become lost within the blackberries. Thanks for the cache and the series.
A simple series to stretch the cycling legs before commencing the 550km Great Victorian Bike Ride.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Our 4th day camped at Creswick, and today we decided to go to Ballarat to do a few trails.
This was our last series for the day, and we hoped to get them all, but it was not to be.
Most were found quickly, and the clue jotted down.
Number one took us the longest to find, and we did not find a clue in it.
The barking dog at number 3, cut our search short and we settled for a DNF.
An excellent location and the walk was pleasant, for this small series of well placed hides.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, Shamus1, for us and others to find.

had to go past this one as some neighbour muggles nearby, but managed to grab on our way back with no issues. tftc
Very snaky territory here but made the find at 1:45pm after a few minutes looking.
thanks Shamus1

We are visiting from other side of Melbourne with Vanessa&Aodh (we met through caching) and stayed nearby overnight visit for some dedicated caching time. The weather has turned into a beautiful day instead of the drizzle of yesterday. We have 3 kids between 5-7yo . Did some the Challenge caches before heading back to finish the Symbol Series and then going to do some more Challenge Puzzle caches. Then off to the Number Series to get "4" to finish another challenge and collect a few others. I will be back to collect the rest as I need to complete the AlphaNumerical List. Thank you for providing the numbers for this. The long grass and the busy tree made this challenging. I was sweating this one as I wanted the GC58GDJ What's In a Name Challenge cache plus it was getting hot. Finally found it. We decided to call it a day as we had responsibilities in the car and at home to attend to. Damn!! TFTC
This took longer to find. As I was carefully searching, I noticed a couple of muggles looking at me as they came down the track. I pulled out my notepad & made a few (pretend) notes, then headed to No. 5. I wonder what goes through their mind when they see a dodgy bloke in the bushes. On the way back from No.5, I was able to make the find muggle-free. That's all I had time for this morning, I shall do 6 to 0 another time soon. TFTC Shamus1.
This was a trail that I have visited before but not along this section so it was good to explore more of it. Parking at the start I enjoyed a wander along the track. Another hide that stood out nicely.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Today we had some time to spare before meeting up with #GeoHulk to attack some of the BSRT series
We found all in the series OK except for No 1, although the coordinates for some caused us to broaden our search area somewhat. We found it an interesting trail in that much of it is so exposed to muggle view - it is a wonder to us that the caches have survived muggling.
A nice easy hide to locate.
Found 9.40am on 25th September 2015. TFTC.

At last a weekend with some reasonable weather. Hopefully the first of many to come. It seemed like a perfect chance to log a few caches. I tried to choose some that would require a little bit of a walk too.
This was find 1 of 11 finds for today, being found at 9:28:00 AM.
Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache and bringing me here.

Struggled to find this one, again found the cable tie cut where we believed this one used to be but after a look around the ground through the grass we logged as DNF and moved on to the others.

Had a bit of time to kill this morning, before attending the Black Hill CITO. Seeing as these caches had been recently re-enabled, this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Parked the car and headed out on foot. A very still morning, with a nice blanket of fog greeted me. Had a very pleasant walk here, thanks for the exercise. TFTC Shamus1
Whoa! 12degrees and sunshine we just had to head out on the GeoBikes. A long hard day which ultimately ended up very cold.
We had a great day along the trails and really enjoyed the peaceful surrounds. Not a great fan of the wind chill factor riding back to the car though. lol.
Mrs Felix grabbed this one first whilst waitng for Mr Felix to pedal on up. Back to the car before dark when a phone call said did you remember to get .............. bleh... off she went into the cold again...... nah nothing here.......... loook harder!!!!
Okay Im here now you head to the car... [^] Oh no he didnt' trust her and was spied stopping here too on his way to the car.
Boy somedays it's just not meant to be easy! [xx(]
Thanks Shamus1 for feeding our GeoAddiction!

Found as Nicnax with SciFiRulz, PapaGrouch and Mazzymay. We had a nice walk down here in the sun when it finally came out. An easy series and we found everything we looked for today. TFTC
"Four" is also what those folks who go around hitting little white balls with funny sticks yell for some peculiar reason. Give us a sensible pastime with a GPS in our hands any day. Our fun continues unabated, & what's more DNF-free which is more than can be said for some of our recent sorties.
Met up with Darth Briji and #GeoHulk for an assault on Ballarat. With 3 layers of clothing and a wind chill factor of about minus 3, we managed some great walks, lots of smilies and enough bison's in trees to last me a long time. A really great time with the boys and geodog Tess for company, Another smilie and getting closer to the next milestone. Thanks Shamus1
Up in Ballarat for the day with #GeoHulk & sorceysal converting some more caches into smiley faces.
Quickly spotted and clue noted.

An adventurous day around Ballarat with Suscoe, Bushfire, Buckleysbabe and OzBob included the subterranean depths of Ballarat, the mire of Winter Swamp and paddling on Lake Wendouree. With some daylight remaining, it was onto the trusty treadlies to follow, catch and match all these numbers!
Our thanks to Shamus1 for bringing us here.

Had to drop someone off at Ballarat Base Hospital this morning and then found myself with a few hours to spare so what better way to spend it than go caching. I'm not normally out this way so had lots of choice from the plentiful local supply so I decided to have a go at a couple of short series starting with the numbers series. You are certainly out in the open for most of these finds and need to keep an eye out for dog walkers, builders and bike riders.
Enjoyed the walk with Geo friends along this old railway track . Cache found thanks Shamus1.
On an after school run to finish off this series today. Thanks for the hide Shamus 1.
