Fortunatly the owners of the dogs were not home so we searched until we found it
Find # 3568 @ 1712 H
Found with Tyred n Cranky
In Ballarat for the 2 Months to Mega Event.
After the event and a small amount of shopping we decided to brave the lovely Ballarat weather and go for a walk along this trail.
Our first look in on this one we could not find it. And coming back we spent some time again, Tyred n Cranky had given up ,but me being determined, I managed to make the find and call back Tyred n Cranky just before they crossed the road.
Oh yeah and i have to agree with Feary84, that muggle dog does get quite annoying [:(!].

Find No. 1503. Found with FUF009 at 5.12pm
In Ballarat for the day to attend the 2 Months to the Surf Coast Event. Then after the event we went and done this series. Parked the car near Number One and off we walked.
On the way back we found no.8, so now we are at no. 3 for a second look. Looked for a while but we decided to call it quits. Besides the dog at the fence was non stop barking and we didn't want the owners to think we were up to no good. On we walked to no. 2 and as we got to the road FUF009, who had stayed back to keep looking, yelled out. Yes he had found it, and pointed to where it was. He signed our names in the log seeing how were had spent many minutes looking for it.

2 searches here today with geodaughter and then with geowife after getting the others and ended with a DNF. Will come back another day, the yapping dog was driving us up the wall!
Looking for a walk with caches and we stumbled onto this number series. Enjoyed the walk.
Thanks
Thanks
A day out caching in Ballarat, the weather looked promising, so decided to do this series.TFTC.
The good thing about night caching is sometimes caches reflect from the torch light as was the case with this one, another quick find and we were on our way
Finally had the opportunity to come back with dehands and get this one. Great series, thank you!
Didn't get a chance at this one, the yappy dog alerted the home owner who then stayed close to the window, we'll have to come back another time
2:51:00 PM. Being a cold day we decided to tackle this series. We returned to this one as well as the neighbours were out in their backyard as we passed. All quiet on the return and the cache was found and log signed. Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache.
Found 16/3/16 @ 5:58 pm.
Well, this was the trickiest cache in the series I think. We actually had tried and failed at this one on the way up the numbers. Now, with a little time remaining, we had ine last attempt. We eventually had the, ah! There it is! moment and quickly sogned the log and moved on to the last two caches in this series.
Thanks Shamus1 for the series.

TFTC. Hello number three, you're quite a tricky little fella aren't you? After sending a message to a friend and while waiting for the reply, just managed to get a glimpse of this hide.
I ended up doing this series three times today :
(i) the first time to sign the logs;
(ii) a second time when I realized there were number clues here for another puzzle;
(iii) and a third time when I realized that during the second round I had picked up the numbers from the logsheets rather than from the lids. Probably because at #1 there was an unmatched number on the logsheet (not a one) that led me to believe those were the clues.
Three down - 7 to go. TFTC.

Heading over to Ballarat for a caching weekend and picking up a few caches on the way.
We managed to find about 230 caches in 3 days/ot bad work for 3 old guys
Out on the bikes to get this series. It didn't take too long and we only had trouble at number 3 where the dog was yapping and the kids were playing on the other side of the fence. We left it and came back and found it on our way back.
A nice series of caches and a pleasant way to stretch out after the long drive over.

Found on a caching trip to Ballarat with Freddo and Team Waldron, 236 caches found and a bunch of laughs along the way, Time for some bike riding and i soon spot something interesting so we take careful notice of all the other caches along here : ) TFTC
Today Dunko and I headed to Ballarat with the intention of reaching and passing 9000 finds,
our mile stone was met what a great day of caching fun we had with 69 terrific caches found during our travels many thanks to Shamus1 for the effort and placement of this cache. TNLN SL

Set off today with my caching buddy Slink1 to try and reach a mile stone number (9000) and I am pleased to say that we made that number and a few past (to be sure we counted correctly!). This cache was found as part of our effort to reach our milestone and my thanks go to Shamus1 for the placement and maintenance of this cache. We had a lot of fun and some laughs along the way.

As the weather cleared for a bit we set off down the old rail trail. We skipped 1 so started with 2. No really issues with any of the hides except as others noted 8 is out by about 10m. A few dog walking muggles about. A pleasant little walk. All logs signed and re hid. TFTC.
Had trouble with this last time but had the pleasure of no yappy muggle over the fence. Got it after a some directonal assistance. Started this series on Melbourne Cup Day but ran out of time. Staying in the area for 3 days this time so sent hubby to playground with the kids and set off from the southern end in the reverse direction from last time. The sun as hot but I had plenty of water. Remembered to get clues from caches this time. Nice quick find. Thanks to this challenge I have now done the Jasmer (Alphanumeric cache name) Challenger.
Found by The Empire
Time to go for a walk. I headed out on the walk solo, but would soon be joined by cachers who would really help me finish the series. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you! Thanks for the cache, Shamus1.

Found It...Found this one while up here in the company of Robynonthego The_Tritonz and Wozzle68. After arriving at GZ we met the CO as he had a message that it was missing but after a better search the cache soon appeared and with the log signed we continued down the trail . Thanks Shamus1 for the cache
The dog barked for the 20 minutes I tried unsuccessfully to search GZ. Better luck to others.
Attempted to complete this series on a sultry evening, although we could not find the first cache. either our eyes were failing or it is become lost within the blackberries. Thanks for the cache and the series.
A simple series to stretch the cycling legs before commencing the 550km Great Victorian Bike Ride.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
Our last day in the area, so we decided to do some caches around Ballarat.
We received an invite by a local cacher to join their group, for a few local caches.
After telling them of our recent DNF, they followed, to help us have another look for this one.
We spent quiet some time searching the tress, while the dog kept barking.
A phone call to the CO, and it was decided that we should replace it.
While looking for a suitable spot, our fellow cacher put a hand on the original cache.
How did we miss that! Great to finally have this one, off our list.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Shamus1, for us and others to find.

We made a hasty retreat, when the dog on the other side of the fence,
let the neighborhood know we were there.
Sadly, a DNF here, for us today.
Thanks for the hunt anyway, Shamus1.

Looked for this on the way out with no luck, so stopped on the way back to the car for another quick look but still no luck. Two other cachers joined the search as well while I was there, but I see they had no luck after I left either. Might be time to check if it's still there.
Our second day in Ballarat for the Cup weekend. This was the end of my caching weekend in the Rat. Long grass, hottish weather, a barky dog, a too-close backyard and -- worst of all -- a needless apostrophe in all of the titles of this series! It's off to the punctuation series for you, Shamus1. We looked for a good while, and even met up with another cacher, but it was no #3 for us. Thanks Shamus1.
We are visiting from other side of Melbourne with Vanessa&Aodh (we met through caching) and stayed nearby overnight visit for some dedicated caching time. The weather has turned into a beautiful day instead of the drizzle of yesterday. We have 3 kids between 5-7yo . Did some the Challenge caches before heading back to finish the Symbol Series and then going to do some more Challenge Puzzle caches. Then off to the Number Series to get "4" to finish another challenge and collect a few others. I will be back to collect the rest as I need to complete the AlphaNumerical List. Thank you for providing the numbers for this. Unfortunately we did not find this one but did meet another cacher and heard a yappy dog over the fence. TFTC
Fortunately spotted this one fairly quickly. The dog next door was yapping its head off at me. Tftc Shamus1.
As I arrived the dog over the fence immediately started barking. It didn't seem like it was going to stop so I continued on my way.
On Friday 25th we had some time to spare before meeting up with #GeoHulk to attack some of the BSRT series
We found all in the series OK except for No 1, although the coordinates for some caused us to broaden our search area somewhat. We found it an interesting trail in that much of it is so exposed to muggle view - it is a wonder to us that the caches have survived muggling.
We skipped the apple tree on the 25th as we were running out of time, and revisited it on our way out of town to Phillip Island today. Now let's go do the puzzle!
Found at 8.50 am on 27th September 2015. TFTC.

At last a weekend with some reasonable weather. Hopefully the first of many to come. It seemed like a perfect chance to log a few caches. I tried to choose some that would require a little bit of a walk too.
The notes indicated this had just been moved. I wasn't sure if the hint was still right. There was a little yappy dog over the rather low fence. I still thought I had a reasonable look.
I was here at about 9:22:00 AM but there was no sign of the cache. I wonder if it's still there? When I log a DNF it usually is.
Thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache and bringing me here, even though I had no luck.

Had a bit of time to kill this morning, before attending the Black Hill CITO. Seeing as these caches had been recently re-enabled, this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Parked the car and headed out on foot. A very still morning, with a nice blanket of fog greeted me. Had a very pleasant walk here, thanks for the exercise. Now that I am home, I see the co-ords have been updated....hmmm.... Thanks for the hunt Shamus1 [B)]
G'Day,
I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of "4 = Four: Number's Series" http://coord.info/GC5N88C and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=304#saturation
I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Whoa! 12degrees and sunshine we just had to head out on the GeoBikes. A long hard day which ultimately ended up very cold.
We had a great day along the trails and really enjoyed the peaceful surrounds. Not a great fan of the wind chill factor riding back to the car though. lol.
Mrs Felix visited this cache 3 times today but signed the log on the first visit. Seriiously! [xx(]
Thanks Shamus1 for feeding our GeoAddiction!

#3 was, well, a tad exposed being as it's getting into winter. "There it is" from over yonder. Plus, the logsheet is rather a scrunched up pulpy mess but we managed to make our mark, just.
See previous log. Logsheet due for replacement, but otherwise OK apart from visibility.
Met up with Darth Briji and #GeoHulk for an assault on Ballarat. With 3 layers of clothing and a wind chill factor of about minus 3, we managed some great walks, lots of smilies and enough bison's in trees to last me a long time. A really great time with the boys and geodog Tess for company, Another one crossed off. Thanks Shamus1
Up in Ballarat for the day with #GeoHulk & sorceysal converting some more caches into smiley faces.
Quickly spotted and clue noted.
Thanks Shamus1 for the cache

An adventurous day around Ballarat with Suscoe, Bushfire, Buckleysbabe and OzBob included the subterranean depths of Ballarat, the mire of Winter Swamp and paddling on Lake Wendouree. With some daylight remaining, it was onto the trusty treadlies to follow, catch and match all these numbers!
Our thanks to Shamus1 for bringing us here.

Had to drop someone off at Ballarat Base Hospital this morning and then found myself with a few hours to spare so what better way to spend it than go caching. I'm not normally out this way so had lots of choice from the plentiful local supply so I decided to have a go at a couple of short series starting with the numbers series. You are certainly out in the open for most of these finds and need to keep an eye out for dog walkers, builders and bike riders.
On an after school run to finish off this series today. Thanks for the hide Shamus 1.
