Heading over the BOP this evening with Mr McC for an evenings caching before the event in the morning. So this was going to be a long evening and lots of fun. Hopefully the rain would hold off for most of the time (although I didn't hold out too much hope for that) but the caches would be in good order (was sure that that would be the case). All caches signed "MCCD" or a variation of as we got more tired as the evening progressed.

Started at the most northerly point and worked our way back towards Tauranga. Was sure that I had cleared out this area previousley but then hey you never know. In both cases the cache had been left out in the wide open so repositioned (once signed) to the appropriate hint item.

Great place for a cache and a very pleasent wander (even as it persisted down)
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Out with Cats&Dragons on a late night - early morning cache run. Logs were signed MCCD but may have varied a bit as tiredness settled in. Thanks for placing this cache and giving us a reason to visit

13-Aug-17
A fun find and very quick which with kids is always a bonus. Thanks for the hint!

09-Mar-17
2860 Mission today was to grab some caches in order to fulfill the requires for cache GC42CNY 12-12-12: A Challenge? (Rotorua). I also wanted to add a 12 of my own and that is to find all within a 12 hour period. There were none in the Hamilton area that were helpful so came for a day in Tauranga.
This was 7 of the 12. Enjoyed the walk around this reserve. Never new it was here. Cache quickly located.

Currently, our youngest cache member spends a wonderful time in New Zealand.
Of course, she must seek and find some caches in this time for the Team!
Many Greetings from the Team-Headquarter in Germany and thanks for the cache.

30-Jul-16
Carrying on our morning tea walk around this lovely reserve. Lots of work is being done with weeds and landscaping. Sveppi was admiring the neighbour's scenic backyard and I followed the compass on the GPs. Again a distinct geotrail led to the cache. Everything is clean, dry and tidy in there. Lovely reserve, so close to the main road but hardly noticeable. Thanks for showing us.

30-Jul-16
So pleased we have geocaching to show us these neat little areas. Morning tea break and the ground is wet under foot but the cache is in good condition. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

23-Jul-16
Woohoo!

19-Jun-16
Out with My.Precious and 9 yr old muggle grandie. Thought we'd introduce grandie to this grownup treasure hunt game. Signed as TT2M.P+1
We spotted the cache, then asked the +1 if they could pick it out, saying it was in a similar position as the previous cache. Once collected the log was signed and as we were about to return it an older couple asked if we were out on a nature walk and if we found what we were looking for. We answered yes.

19-Jun-16
Out with tigatat2 and my grandy for a few cashes today and as an intro for the grandy into this little pastime of "treasure hunting".
We split up to take different paths to this one wandering through the lovely reserve in the urban fringes.
Tiga spotted this one first as others were still sorting out which side of the track to explore but all spotted it when we knew where to look. .
Retrieved the log for signing with our joint name of TT2M.P+1 (+1 for the grandy) while grandy explored the contents.
Some passing muggles asked us if we'd found what we were looking for as I stood there with my notebook and signing pen which was answered with an enthusiastic Yes. They assumed we were on a nature walk. Lol.
TNLN and replaced where and as.
Tftc.

11-Jun-16
Neat trip to a new place. Looks like someone else was here before us today. Took something and left something.
