I got tricked by all the un-moss. Funny one though.
Again no pen because I’m unprepared but have a photo of the cache if required.

Back to Currarong for a visit - original plan was a snorkel but cold today so only the adults came down. No set plan on the walk but in the end we did the whole Coomies Walk. Not all caches were found (two were not searched for and two I ran out of time) but always good to leave a few for next time.
Started raining here so the rest of the group was moving ahead. I spotted a Tawny-crowned Honeyeater here which is the first for a number of years. The cache was quickly found - a nicely designed container.

Great find love this one. We brought a pen but it stopped working after a few finds so now i just took a picture
Quick find . Thank you for a cache that doesn’t require destroying the environment to find.
Back again for a final push on the last caches to be found in the peninsula and surrounding area. It's taken several years and a good number of adventures heading to some truly spectacular places. Was really looking forward to some more of the coastal cliff hides.
Parked in the Bosum Creek carpark and crossing the bridge headed out along the track. Muddy in parts, underwater in others, but always a side trail to detour around. As expected the hides weren't usually easy, but well thought out and of course hidden.
Continuing along the open track, the clouds kept temperature comfortable. Slowly each hide found signed and replaced, taking a stack of photos, mostly of the amazing views. Passed under a number of webs, always occupied by something, usually with 8 legs.
3 hours later I was back at the geomobile, job done. Drove back to our place in Sanctuary Point, via one or two more recently hides, eventually sitting down for a well earned beer.
Specific cache find details added at end of log. A quick find. TNLNSL TFTC

In Currarong for a few days. Today we walked along the Coomie Track. Quick find. TFTC seaker200
Nice hide, GC coords a bit off but still found quite quickly. TFTC. Started this walk with gremlindaddy and the kids. Didn't finish it with them however as they turned back while I continued Coomies Walk. At this point I was solo and without water as realised Gremlindaddy had this in his bag. I persevered and continued forward along the track.
I am pretty certain I was looking in the right place but this one eluded me. I think it’s all about the cleverness of the owners hide than the fact that it may not be there. I want to give this a favourite point simply because if I continue to write
Today Loci612 and I (Darksidedan) left Canberra at 5am and headed out to Goulburn to pick up Fitzy_1965. Not long after we were at the first cache of the day. An FTF north of Moss Vale then onto Nowra to find a swag of 40 plus caches for the day. The days highlights included seeing two Sea Eagles, millions of birds, a Wombat and A Dolphin. In Total I drove 660kms and we cached for a total of 16 hours including driving time.
This cache was one of the caches that we found. The cache was signed DSD for Darksidedan. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. We will be back this way to clean up any caches we missed this time.
A Very Big Congrats to Loci612 who got his 10,000th cache find and managed to do his 6th D/T Loop on the same cache. I was glad to be there for such a milestone.

**This Cache:**
A quick cache whilst walking along this trail, DSD was very amused by a nearby rock and was adamant that it didn't belong here and had been moved from another environment! Wasn't the cache though, which I found nearby whilst he was playing around!
Thanks

**Today:**
Myself, DSD and Fitzy_1965 planned a long day trip down to Nowra, and Currarong to pick up some caches! I was nearing my 10,000th find, and 6th D/T loop so had a cache lined up for the milestone! We left Canberra at 5am, picked up Fitzy from Goulburn, grabbed an unexpected first to find in the Southern Highlands, and then headed down to the coast!
The day lasted 16 hours before we finally returned home after 9pm. A very successful day, I don't believe we had a single DNF! My milestone cache did take 1 hour to find though, phew!
Thanks to all the CO's and DSD + Fizty for the company

Found on a walk to the trig station. Looked around GZ for a bit, then looked at the clue and found. Log surprisingly dry, considering the rainy weather. Tftc. ( :

Geoson loved that he found this one! Was a little soggy so we placed log in a clean doggy-do baggy

Continuing our walk from a few weeks ago, love the area and all the caches to keep geokids interested, especially this one! TFTC!
Loving all of the different terrain, the different vegetation, the changing micro climates that the headland has to offer. This part really reminds me of the "barrens" near Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia that I visited October last. How the lichens, mosses help create an environment that supports larger vegetation... fascinating. And so this cache and its clever hide is quite fitting. TFTC seaker200
Came for a walk along here today with Chip and Juno. Juno dropped by to add some km to here trackable.
Found on an awesome day for a Bush walk with Juno and Hoojar. Friendly huntsman guards the cache
Out for a bush walk on this lovely day with Clan Venter.
What a lovely area with lots of caches.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from South Africa.

Haha we looked under it saw a lizard got a fright, dropped it and didn’t actually check for the cache. 5 minutes late, ‘surely it must be one of these 2nd look’ has cache in hand. TFTC
It was the first non moss covered rock we turned over. I got so frightened by the lizzard that had made it his home that I didn’t see the cache a big search was then undertaken! Good thing I brought along ouddoornut22 or else it would have been a DNF
Great hide. Quick find with Keno7 and Merilynne Muggle. Fave point from me for my 400th find. TFTC
OCW Pel Droed Gwin in Ellie the GeoKombi, we camped for the weekend at the beachside park.
Really enjoying this walk, GZ was another interesting spot and another clever hide

Turned a stone and found a spider. Tried another and voila. Tftc

OCW EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer on a trip south. Day 2 of our caching adventure. Left no stone unturned for a find. TFTC
A late start to a day of caching that stretched into the night. A really nice stroll out Coomies way. TFTC
With another beautiful day free, I decided to head down to Currarong to find the caches in Abrahams Bosom Reserve along Coomie's Walk and the Wreck Walk. It took a little while to get into the swing of things. By late afternoon, we were operating at a decent pace and finding caches without many hassles. Thanks to the Cache Owners for maintaining the caches in the area!
Found with Muppet95 and Co. on an afternoon outing in Currarong. We had a great time walking around Abrahams Bosom Reserve & found a fair amount of caches as a reward. Thanks For The Caches
#1428 It is not often the whole Gozanators team is together these days and this was the first time with Geo-pup. All up we spent about 5 hours on the circuit with a couple of detours. Geo-son took a guess and picked the cache on the first attempt. Lovely cammo, have considered trying to construct something like this myself, it is on the to-do list! TNLNSL. TFTC seaker200.
Can it be the ninth already? Yep, I'm sure it is. So I remember this one - I was really struggling, because there is nowhere to look! Sun was baking me quite a lot and I've got desperate - and found it! That had to take some serious effort to make it like this!
Thank you @seeker!
Thank you @seeker!
A quick find - nice work on the camo. Did you make that at home then carry it all the way out here? TFTC!
Find Number 1259, found at 13:41
GeoSon NationalSteel and I have wanted to tackle this path for some time now. Given the need to find a few caches for the Mary Hyde souvenir, this seemed a good day to go.
Surely we have to start going down hill soon. While I was sitting resting and NationalSteel was hunting a few metres away, I saw something suspicious and, there was the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks seaker200 for the cache.
