I came past here and saw a cache on the map so dropped by. I wandered intp the racing area for a bit of a squiz for subterfuge, then headed over to GZ. I had a bit of a poke around, but the sun was high in the sky and I wasn't getting any cooler, so I left it for another day, deciding instead to head off in search of some nice cold refreshing h2o... Now that, I DID find.
Thanks for the hunt wrap'ed results.

Geo Wife & I were on a mission to search for a GCA cache in Nerang for a cacher in NSW, it hadn't moved for quite sometime and she was concerned it had been washed away.

While we were down this way we couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab a cache to add to our total.

This one had come out a while back and we hadn't had the opportunity to grab it.

We couldn't park in the suggested spot but of course that was because there was a car already there!!

We walked around and soon spotted the good hide

Thanks D&Mocha TFTC SL

But I am also getting those newer caches or some I have missed in the past. Big Grin
With that done and I am a little tired I took a wrong turn for the planned way home. Surprised
But this meant I was on the road past this cache. Smile
A bit of a search before spotting this one. Smile
Thanks for the cache.

Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA Big GrinCoolBig GrinCool

So with 4 days of caching and over 100+ finds under our belts so far, we've had a great time touring around caching and seeing new places Smile Lovely to cache in the warm QLD weather as well!

Apologies for the somewhat generic logs- it's not easy remembering every single hide so far!

Thanks very much to all of the cache owners for their hides Smile

Out and about in the Upper Coomera and surrounds area again today. I accidently took a wrong turn and we ended up heading north on the motorway instead of south. All was good however as we ended up finding a rural powertrail to completed. The day was a little drizzly then the rain got heavier towards the evening. We ended up with 29 finds and a heap of DNF's and UTA (Unable to attempts) due to alot of roadworks going on within that area.

Apologies to all the cache owners for generic logs however we enjoyed the day wandering around the Upper Coomera and Surrounds. Cool

Thanks Wrap'ed Results for placing this cache for us to make a find on Big GrinSmile

Another pit stop before work this morning. I was still pretty exhausted from all the racing around i did last night but the bugs were biting so I needed a quick fix.
As I jammed on the brakes in the parking bay I noticed a delivery driver karting some parts back to his truck just ahead of me. He didn't seem to pay any attention to me so I bolted over to GZ. It took a minute or so to nut out the hide but in the end I was victorious. I missed out on first place but happy with bronze.
Still feeling wheely tyred I jumped back in the car and gassed it back down hill to the starting grid of zarraffa's to lap up a winning beverage.
Thanx again DC, awesome cache container.

Well, what do you know, Aussie Liahona headed out for a FTF tonight. Smile We haven't been in the running for ages Sad, but I saw this one published and thought: 'Why not?' Well, one reason 'why not' would have been that geohubby was busy painting trim on cupboard doors in a bedroom at home and also trying to watch the football. I said: 'It's o.k. to say no, but do you feel like heading out for a new cache?' He said: 'Sure' Big Grin so we wrapped the paintbrush in glad wrap and headed out. Took the wrong exit off the freeway which was my fault - I ignored the car gps coz I thought I knew better. Obviously I just hadn't looked closely at where the cache actually was on the cache page map. We arrived and started to hunt. We'd only brought the phone sadly, and not grabbed the proper gps, so we had a bit of trouble at first getting it to settle. We looked in several locations it suggested, and several locations we thought might prove fruitful [:p] but didn't come up with anything. Someone came out the door and looked at us and laughed, then said to us: 'you need to be further that way'. Oh, thank goodness, a useful hint. Having found the cache we signed the log and were VERY HAPPY to sign in the spot for Big Grin FTF Big Grin at 7:51pm. In replacing the cache a piece came off and we visited the very friendly manager who was kind enough to take the time to help us fix it. (Yes, well, I'll be honest, he did all the work - but we had tried hard before we bothered him, truly! Wink We did!) Thanks for the new cache Wrap'ed Results! [^][^] We enjoyed the race for FTF tonight!
