We had just grabbed the multi next door, and before we turned around to go back and meet Dazzpete, we whizzed up here and grabbed this one all ninja style.Log signed then we turned the circus around and headed back to the main road.

Today we headed out from Winchelsea to do our second day on the GOR. We made our way down through Wensleydale and picked up a few trads in tiny little none weatherproof pots. Nice little series. Then on to Anglesea which seemed to be very hipster/surfer vibes and we enjoyed a nice walk around The Wetlands, more caches and ate our packed lunch at one of the murals. Onwards to Aireys Inlet to visit the lighthouse a nd more caching. Lorne was our last stop on GOC seemed to be a bit more exy here and lots of posh Melbs people here . Back to Winchelsea via Erskine Falls, surprised no cache there and via Bambra area to collect some super cool woodland caches. Ran out of time to do everything we wanted but you can never get them all .Thanks to all the CO for some really great hides and especially to Bushfire we were sad to read of ill health.Nice quick find and sign here always good to find a bucket TFTc

The third of three nice fine and warm days, so we thought we'd attack the Old Telegraph Road caches. The road was quite good, and nicely dried. Left a Geonickel. SL, TFTC.

*Found on the 16 Jul 2023 @ 12:11 pm.*
*Cache find # 14845.*

Today I headed out to the Otway Forest Park and Paddy's Swamp area for a bit of a tour around on my bike and finding caches as I went.
After getting organised at Tanners Campground, I then headed out on the bike and started making my way towards Paddy's Swamp, trying to knock off a few from this Bambra series.
It always good to find a large cache which this one is, it was easy enough to find and the other good thing is, it's not the only one out here.

**Thanks to The_Tritonz for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

Out and about with Dromaniax on this chilly Sunday night!! We decided this afternoon that we would go on an adventure to collect a handful of smiley faces and this series is on the list!!

That's another large cache under the belt that helps working towards a challenge cache on my list Smile Thank you

We had camped at Cape Clear overnight and decided to take a roundabout route back home.

We have wanted to do the Bambra series for quite a while, and we stopped to find this cache and hopefully a few others in the area.

We pulled off the road and walked our way towards GZ, enjoying the proliferation of Pink Heath nearby. On arrival at GZ, we made a quick find and signed the cache. The cache is in excellent condition. We had planned to find more in the series, but there were quite a few road closures due to controlled burns.

Thank you fr this cache The_Tritonz.

Out today with sorceysal to clean up some caches in the area but mainly to complete this series.
So pleased we have modern technology even if it likes to play tricks on me. Maybe the power pak has finally given up the ghost. it is crazy today!
Spot on numbers here led to a very pleasant surprise with such a big container so well supplied.

We finally got back onto the Old Telegraph Rd and decided to grab another cache before setting off for home again. This was another largeish sized container which was in good nick so I dropped off another one of the TB's I have been lugging around for a while ("JuCe") so someone else can move it further.

Found in a group of cachers after the Colac event. Not too hard!

19-Dec-18
Today's work adventures called for a trip to Warrnambool, so off I set early in the morning with the goal of knocking off a few caches while I was at it. A couple in the morning, a quick mission at lunchtime and a couple more on the way home netted me a decent day's finds. Heavy, overcast conditions meant the phone GPS was a couple of meters less reliable than usual, particularly in the morning. Happy to report no DNF's as a result but a couple of times I had to pull back, assess the situation and let the geosenses take over.

After picking up the FTF on the latest in this series on the weekend I noticed some new information in the description of this one that peaked my interest. For once I did my research in advance and came prepared. Information extracted from WP1 and I was soon on my way to GZ where I found what I was looking for. And a cache as well. A nice fun multi in a rather peaceful spot, even spotted a rather well built (but extinguished) campfire nearby.

Beautiful day for a wander in the bush. TFTC! Left a trackable that I picked up at Geocache HQ in Seattle.

Heartened by the anticipation of a big container l plunged into the Bush, conscious of keeping on the roo trail. I think l emulated the species cos l bounded about, becoming more and more frantic, looking in so many spots that might conceal the big container. What shame if l had to report back to geowife that l couldn't find a big container. When l did find it, l sunk to my knees, not in thankful communication with the Almighty, but because the hole was so bloody deep that l nearly fell in with it. After that l decided l needed sustenance and retired from caching for the day. Thanks for the entertainment.

Out and about on a localish outing today exploring Winch / Bambra / Angelsea Heath.
Lots of Iron-bark woodlands and slipping and sliding around 4WD tracks!

A nice big large cache in the bush. Didn't take anything, just signed the log and checked out the nearby bush flowers which were in full bloom. Thanks for the placement!

**Smile # *4647* / Traditional # *3520***

With a few days off from work, the plan was to get the geo wheels a little dirty on some tracks off the main roads. I was packed with plenty of fluids, the geo toolkit, the PLB, GPSr packed with geocaches and plenty of snacks to get me through. I really enjoyed this geo adventure, plenty of new sites found over the journey. Thankfully the road was nice to me today, a little damp with the slight mist around. It felt like no one else was anywhere around me today. The small track was taken and this nice sized was found quickly. Stamped and replaced as found.

**Thanks for placing this trad and series The Tritonz**
**Cache container and log in good order**

Today I was out for a caching trip down the coast with Neville_devil and Ausfox;.

We started to head towards Bambra because I was in search of at least one large container. Just before New Year I had made it to 50 large containers found after making a special trip to find a large. a couple of days ago I notice that my stats had dropped back to 49 again [:(!]. That I needed to fix so my mission today was to remedy that.

This was a nice quick find which is just what we needed as it was starting to get late and light was fading fast.

Thank you The_Tritinz for the hide and large container

Set off to gather some Bambra/Deans Marsh caches today. What else would you do to escape the coastal influx. Rain to begin the day, humidity and eventually heat and strong winds. More like the top end tropics than Victoria(except for the wind LOL)

A quick find here, GPSr spot on, and my what a container. Thought it had bricks in it, but turned out to be Juc_cacher's donation.

The serenity of the Otway Ranges was a far cry from the frantic festive season preparations going on in town! There was a carpet of flowers and the birds sang all day, as we set about converting some of the long outstanding green boxes to smiley tokens. We spent some time admiring the book left by a previous cacher, didn't realise until we were home, that he was one of photographers.

Our thanks to The_Tritonz for placing this cache.

With only half a day today before heading up to Melbourne, an adventure closer to home was the go. Checked out the map and decided to head out to Bambra and grab as many of this series as we could. We packed a picnic and headed out.

We'd passed this one by to go hang out with the one a bit further on, so as we made our way back to the main road, a quick stop was in order here. The size of this cache was quite unexpected !

I grabbed the Captain Moonlite book and we popped by here the next day and I dropped in a Great Ocean Rd touring guide as a swap. There's a few photos taken by me in that book Smile

Thanks once again for bringing us to this area Tritonz !

12-Oct-16
I headed out to cache in Bambra today with the added incentive of some new publications. After finding the newer caches I continued on with the aim of completing this Bambra series.
I wasn't in dire straits heading to this cache - actually I was having a very good time. And while on 80s songs, the road to the next one felt like a road to nowhere, but that was just my head talking Wink.
Thanks for the large cache, Tritonz.

Suscoe headed out for an Otways journey today and when we left home the sky was clear and sunny.
When we arrived down this way the drizzle set in during the early morning.
Then later in the day things cleared up a little but the clouds stayed for the whole trip.

Find number 10 for the day.
Well we had plenty of company here with wallabies crossing the road.

Cache found and all was good.
Thanks to The Tritonz for placing this one here, a pretty good size.

30-Apr-15
A number of factors aligned today to make for a great day's caching. In need of some photos for a forthcoming blog post, I decided to head in the Bambra direction. As it happened, Geohubby took the day off, so I had some company too.
Despite the cache notes, with a rather low to the ground Geo6E I was a little tentative about these caches, however so far so good. We arrived and parked near GZ with no issues. Off we went and soon spotted what we were after, signed the log and headed back...
Of course, being a teenager of the '80s, I found myself with a rather persistent earworm which just wouldn't leave me alone after driving up this particular road... Surprised
Thanks to The_Tritonz for the cache Big Grin!

Nice quick find on this cold afternoon. Thanks

It was very quite out here today, no bikes and very few cars giving me a chance to enjoy the bush. Where to hide a large cache container, spotted it through a gap as I walked pass.
Thanks for the cache The Tritonz

I'm really enjoying driving on the roads around this area. Even though they are gravel, they are generally very smooth. Really had to search fort this cache, seeing as it is fairly small.... RazzRazz I was quite impressed with the goodies inside this cache, very generous. TFTC The_Tritonz. Big Grin

Found It...... Found this one after a quick search, It is great to see big containers hidden in the middle of nowhere with the log signed we headed to the next one. Thanks The_Tritonz for the cache

03-Apr-15
Saw these caches pop up this morning but thought some of the locals would be onto these before I could organise myself but some hours later nothing was happening so set the Bushfire FTF system into gear and shortly we were on the road down to this wonderful area.

8th cache find for today but cachers using phones do be aware that sometimes coverage in this area is very flakey so a GPS is the way to go if possible.

After finding the track in it was not long before I was looking at one of the largest caches I have seen and a good assortment of swaps.

With the log signed in second place it was time to head off to the next.
