I found this cache on a trip from Adelaide to the Northern Territory with Freddo for a few weeks. Not impressed with the cache location here - double white lines and limited parking! Thanks Croker Crew for the cache.
Operation cache replacement after a long look at the not so interesting structure. The anticipitation of a mint tin in an Armco guard rail. Very busy 110kph road.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the twentieth and ninth day of Julius Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a cool cloudy and raining. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return via Alice, Adelaide, and the Nullarbor. We are enjoying a cool but sunny morning, a rarity in these parts. TFTC.
A return visit to Darwin with iluvtrekking, we were last here eleven years ago. The cache was obviously missing so we left a small preform as per the hint. Thanks for the hide.
We looked everywhere at GZ for this cache but no luck. My guess is when road work was done here recently they threw it out? You can try but, I don’t think it’s there.
On the way to Litchfield National Park with chychu... Parked the car close to GZ and found the cache very close to the listed coordinates...

Down this area in search of crocodiles in the wild, which we were very excited to find too. We havent used the link on the description page but it sounds like an interesting case. Those poor girls and the families of the teenagers who killed them, what an all round waste of life. We lived in a town in South Australia that every few years there would be a murder or two, must admit some of the locals were odd but never picked any of them as murderers.
This cache was a bit of a challenge to find but got there in the end.
Thanks Croker Crew for the cache. TNLN

DNF both in and out of Kakadu, had a look. Guard rail looks really fresh, now sure what is happening here.
There's been a lot of roadworks here over the last few months. Looks like the railing at cache location has been replaced with new stuff (see photo). CO may need to visit and check on the cache, though I'm fairly certain it's missing. Not logging NM as I believe this cache should remain, though may need replacing once the roadworks are complete.
TFTC!! Nice easy find and interesting yet tragic story of the operation it's named after.
Well it pays to read the hint as I was searching in the wrong area here for a bit. Until I read the hint.
Then it was a quick find.
Terrible story of the history for this cache.
Visited 3 TB.

Found the spot, but when I peered into the hidey hole, a little face was looking back at me! Was it a cute geocache? A frog? Or a snake? I wasn't game to find out.
I tried to take a photo, and on later inspection discovered it was indeed a little frog! Oh well. This one will have to remain a DNF for me.

Hardest part of this find was parking, but a quick find to Chil, TFTC Croker Crew

On our way through Australia Clematius and I visited a lot of very interesting places. We tried to find some historical spots as well as geological spots. Many Earthcaches helped us to find beautiful landscapes and views. Thanks a lot for showing and hiding to Croker Crew.
While traveling the tropical north of Australia ElizaBennet and I visited very interesting places. We spent quite some times on Earthcaches but found some traditional caches as well. Thanks a lot for showing this place and for hiding to Croker Crew.
My sons and I were in Darwin for a 6-day holiday, escaping a cold, wet Melbourne winter. We did the essential tourist things, including the Adelaide River cruise and jumping crocodile thing today. On the way out, we visited the Wetlands visitor centre, which was excellent. Then I told the boys that we just had to get one cache, and that it was just up the road. It didn't take long to get there at 130 km/h. We pulled over beside the road, and I dashed across to get this, grateful that it was a standard hide. Hurrah! One NT geocache
Thanks for the cache, Croker Crew!

Leaving Katherine and continuing on 2018 holiday, we head toward Darwin where we will set up camp for a few weeks before heading to WA
Feeling lucky and blessed to have this opportunity
We wonder what the muggles get to see when they travel because we are being taken to some awesome spots
TFTC
Just went on the jumping crocodile cruise and it was amazing

Find No: 6069. Visiting from Newcastle, on the way home from Darwin (via Kakadu), thanks for the cache Croker Crew!!
An horrific story but surprising with the salt water crocodile population in the Adelaide River, that there was any evidence left. We knew we were in the thick of croc country when one was sighted laying on the banks of the river. Operation Get Ready to Run was beginning to form in MrsG's head! TFTC Croker Crew and thanks to quartpotpobblebonk for the pathtags.
Darwin Day 8
Today we were with Geono & went out to the wetlands for a boat cruise.
A couple of caches found on the way there & on the way home.
We are so pleased to stop for this cache as we each got a pathtag & a trackable from the cache
Thanks for placing this cache Croker Crew
