After many, many hours of flying, a passage through China on the way there and through the United States of America on the way back, we will finally arrive in Christchurch which will be the starting point of our journey. We will enjoy the beaches of the Pacific Ocean and we will go back towards the North Island via State Highway 1. To combine business with pleasure, we will take regular breaks and small detours according to the caches that seem the most accessible to us.With a little more than 3500 km in 20 days, we will have discovered many facets of this island which is soothing. We will have to come back because there are so many places that we have not done . In broad strokes, the path will go from Christchurch to the Kaikoura Peninsula then towards Picton for the crossing to Wellington.New island, new road, and by State Highway 2 we go towards Hastings and Napier. We will leave the seaside for several days to go to Tongariro and Taupo. We will continue north towards Rotorua and Hamilton (without forgetting a detour via Hobbiton ) A detour to the Coromandel Peninsula and finally the almost north of the island with Whangarei and Waitangi to learn the history of this country. There will only be a few days left to spend towards Auckland and its suburbs before taking the plane back to the grayness of our European autumn. The majority of the boxes will be found, we have abandoned those where our English was lacking and where we could not understand the clue. Thanks to all the owners who brightened up our path, who took us to incredible places (that's also geocaching)In short, we had a great vacation, saw beautiful places that simply ask us to come back. We learned a lot about the history of this country and its traditions, it's a great motivation for our destinations.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Petit log en retard mais un peu plus complet maintenant que nous sommes rentrs la maison.
Good cache! We went to one then found another well when I say that I mean sign. Thought it was somewhere and looked everywhere but not hard enough. Came back to the start and Elippa found it. I cant believe Elippa found one again!
Again I parked on Vauxhall Road but I'd moved the car closer from the last hide. I was looking for a nice bronze plaque here. I didn't really consider the plastic sign as a plaque so I walked in circles before finally trying to find the cache here anyway. Quickly found it then.I didn't know this area existed until I saw the caches and Vistra's AdLab. Thanks again for the caches in here

# #7,199 #----------After a DNF on what seems to be a clever hide, I thankfully had more success here in this part of the complex as this one was found quickly and without any issues. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ

**#19,373**Mrs Geckoh was on find duties for this one while Mr Geckoh was trying to get behind the barriers of the sculpture exhibition down the road.Lucky for both of us the sculpture exhibition was not started for the day as there were no people in the vicinity of GZ
An afternoon at leisure whilst my partner caught up with friends. Lets head to Takapuna to see what I can see.Just the one plquae (?) to be looking for here. A super quick find. Thanks G_2#4752Logged using Cachly.
#419After spending an inordinate amount of time looking for the cache at the pillbox, it was a relief to find this one immediately.
ok, this was an easy one again. Thanks to G2 for all your work here with caches in this area. You are awesome!
Found in the dark after a long day of caching. It's a wonderful stormy night.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

Another day in paradise, exploring a new area of Auckland. Of course it's caching time. Tftc
On our way back to the car before heading to Devonport for some lunch we had to go past this hide. Nice quick find here. Took us longer to sign and replace! Thanks for the hide!
Was in the area today to collect cache numbers and with a few adventure labs nearby, decided upon here for the task......jumped on the bike for the afternoon, to hopefully enable swifter
commuting times between caches.....
Cache is all good, signed in as SAC sometimes to save space in the logbooks.....

Hint gives it away, but if you would like a challenge the cache is in very close proximity to the main gate!
Out caching with Supernannny today mainly to get the new AdLab at Fort Takapuna and any other caches that might get in the way.
I remember coming to this area many moons ago. Always a nice place to return to. I didn't search hard enough here but was brought up hard by Supernannny.
Cheers for the cache.

M24: another nice and easy find here.

Anyway, log is signed, all is good. TFTC.

TFTC. Nice and easy to find, was a little wet with the recent rain but managed to dry it out a bit. Thanks
After being muggled last week we returned tonight to look in the dark. A quick find.
Well camoed but a super quick find here while walking around the peninsula. TFTC again!
Had some time to kill while waiting for a sail to be fixed do decided to come out and grab a few caches out this way.
A nice easy find. Thanks for the cache

Nice and easy here after coming from the market, added name and replaced as found.
After my spicy hotdog in the rain it was time to head back to the car. First though a couple more caches to finish the day off.
Decided on a trip out to Devonport was the choice for todays caching and the recent Adventure Labs were also a draw card. just like another recent finder I too had hoped to set a future adventure Lab series out here but seems I lucked out. Well done Rebel98 on the choice of this area. Just a modest 5 real caches to go with the labs but beat the rain, which was nice.

Came back for a second look today and made a quick find. Great views up on this hill and a beautiful day. TFTC
I'm almost certain the cache is lost because I've read through all the comments and photos and they are all pointing and hinting to the plague in the garden. I digged and digged and scanned area around but nothing there
I'm quite annoyed with myself if I'm honest bc seemed like this one would be so easy, 2 particular places (one being very very low) I thought would have been dead ringers for a hide but after feeling around twice it wasn't. I feel like I looked for an entire 30 min but to no avail except for snails... Snails in every hole
I was out today for an adventure and I have never been here before, looking at the beautiful views out from the beach made me stop here to cache, instead of heading further down the road.
Upon arriving at GZ I had the cache in hand in seconds, but opening it found the log was soaking wet, so I decided to stop a while and let it dry in the sun for a bit. It is not perfectly dry now, but better than it was. TFTC #971

Just managed to do the business on this one before hordes of kids came down, about to break up for the Christmas holidays. TFTC
Tyfc. Log paper wet and no suitable waterproof pen on me, so did not write in log
On our way to spend some time around the Devonport Area today to make some finds. Always nice to visit this area and have a walk around. Got this one after the previous one and before returning to the car. No problems here today. SL. TFTC.
Container isn’t very waterproof anymore, easy find not sure if it is hidden properly
Quick find. We even managed a parking spot right across the road. Not bad on a public holiday! Thanks
Quick easy find on the way out of Devonport. No issues at all, cache is in good condition. Tftc
Caching today with TheMexikiwi and hitting up some shore caches between the showers.
Parked up nearby and wandered over - soon found the hint item and the cache followed quickly after.
Nice little spot here - TFTC
