Sorry guys I think with the upgrade of this reserve my hiding place has since been chopped down......soooo sad now, I have to archive it.
Hi Waru8
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Second dnf out of two searches in this area.

I was in the area today for a work related appointment. At the conclusion of the appointment I decided to see if there were any caches in the area up for grabs. That is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. As I drove to GZ I was really surprised by the development going on at the golf course... anyway, after parking the car I made my way to GZ on foot and for some reason I sparked the curiosity of a local pukeko who followed me everywhere. So after a nice stretch, it didn't take me long to find the cache and fill out the log book. The cache is nicely back in its home all ready for the next finder. So thank you Waru8 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
We made another trip to Middlemore Hospital this afternoon to visit Mark's 89 year old mother who broke her hip a few days ago while doing a Zumba exercise class. Looking a lot better today and already weight-bearing and walking with assistance.
Afterwards we came around to visit the Thinking Chair and find this cache. Thanks.

Was waiting for mycaignificant other to be released from hospital so thought I'd grab a few cached since I work just around the corner. Nice quick park and grab for me today. Beautiful weather - Sat and relaxed for a bit before continuing on my way. TFTC
Had been looking forward to today all week with another goal in mind to try to grab a few Auckland based caches that "obviously" needed collecting (as it would just be right). So at 4am I met up with RWIMF for a good days caching and an over ambitious plan (Home by 3.30pm).
So today I managed a grand total of 54 finds (only 3DNF's) and plenty of conversation. All I can say for the days activity in Auckland was that traffic was all good till just before 10am and absymal for the rest of the time until we started heading for home so that I could still get some chores done for the day.
A quick walk through the green zone and this one was soon in hand. Like this caching in the dark, especially in Auckland as its all nice and quiet, (Apart from the ocassional Dog, which we didn't have too many issues with today).
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

I'd received a message from cats & dragons asking if I wanted to do a mission. I'd said sure at the time, but could I have a rain check as I was overseas at the time. I arrived back in the country on Monday, and so the adventure was planned for the following Saturday. I said I'd be happy to start early, as long as it was my early not his - so we negotiated a 4pm pick up
Caching in Auckland in the early hours of a Saturday? Quite easy, but things slowed down drastically when the traffic really got started about 10am.
It was still very dark when we got to this cache, and I was happy to have a caching buddy with me as we wondered through the area.

Had a few minutes to grab this one while in the area; needed to sit down and have a think for a minute or two. Nice little park and best approached from Halcyon Place. TFTC.
Did not find it. Looked for 15 minutes. If it was in the knot in the tree it has gone.
Whipped out at lunch time to grab this cache to fill in another dot day - TFTC - nice little area here, haven't been down this road this far before.
Lovely sunday afternoon so i thought id introduce my other half to a bit of Geocaching. First location for the day and he found it. Great find!
This was a nice quick find thanks and Mr 5 loved finding some swag to swap , TFTC!
I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.
We were out and about today and noticed this green spot on my map which was not too much of a detour so we headed on over. Thought I knew better than the gps so didnt bother looking at it once I got out of the car. Soon realised I needed it and once in the right direction it was a nice quick find for laval with cragger picking it up as he is just slightly taller.
Thanks for the cache. Streak day #49

Currently attempting a 50-day caching streak with some caching buddies, so needed a cache for today. Was going past this one after work on the way to do some Christmas shopping, and so decided to stop for my cache of the day.
Pulled up near GZ, and all seemed pretty quiet, although I could see someone vacuuming in one of the neighbouring houses. Sat in the thinking chair, and then followed my geo-senses to the hiding place, where it only took me a couple of minutes to locate.
Thanks for bringing me here- nice, peaceful spot!!!
This was day #27 of 50!

A little pre Christmas caching in our hometown. Thanks for the cache. We like Tis wee reserve!
Pulling up in my loud car in this quiet cul-de-sac was already not a good start, but I just didn't feel comfortable searching with this many houses around all staring at me. No amount of thinking made the cache appear on this occasion!
Had a nice sit and a think then grabbed the cache and signed the log. Grabbed the TB for some adventure!! Lovely little spot with the sounds of the tui's and the thwack of golf balls being struck. TFTC

Really lovely here! Dropped the racing pigeon travel bug to continue its journey. I considered placing a cache nearby once too! Impressed with how big the golf course is.
Sat down, had a think about where the cache would be and went straight to it. A nice peaceful place to sit and reflect, TFTC!
As usual I follow my GPS all over the place but then I did what you said and went straight to it. TFTC
Had some spare time today while out on the road for work, so a quick cache was in order.
Didn't take me too long to find this one.

Visiting my father at the nearby hospital. Easy find thanks. No back to the tron bonus being a dot day.
Found it! Really nice easy one! Didn't take the cache though so very cute! Good children's hunt/cache in this one! But did sign the log book! Lesson learnt nearly 7pm is not a good time to try find things in the dark! Going to bring my friend and her 3 year old back for them to find this one next time! Such fun! X
Nice view. Had to think a bit harder that normal but found it in its hidey hole. Great cache. Tftc got a favourite seen I missed giving you a favourite on your other cache. Tftc SL TNLN
After finishing work meetings I had time for just one cache before heading off for dinner. A bit too wet to sit and think for too long today. Luckily the coordinates were good and I didn't have to search for too long before I found the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
The thinking chair was used as a place to think as forst looks came up blank. In for another lap & there it was. Nice place & nobody around early today. TFTC
Another quick find. But what a lovely spot... I could do a bit of thinking here if I didn't have to rush off. T4tc
Nice big seat with a view. We sat and decided where we would put a cache, headed over and found it. It's nice to see more placements around Ptoe. TFTC.
Can be a scratchy place to search so I took the logical way in and spotted the cache straihjt away.

Making my way home this evening after finishing work down South Auckland way collecting a couple of newly placed caches on the way. Parked up and made the short walk to GZ. Did a 360 and managed to spot the hide before braving GZ in my work clothes. Not to bad in the end. Cheers for the cache placement!
Found after work on this Black Friday the 13 th , what a beautiful spot, had no idea it was here, you would think you are somewhere in the country, not in the middle of papatoetoe that's for sure.
Thank you for bringing me here.

Awesome location. Might need to come here to just sit and think. Thanks for bringing me to a new area.
Yay I did it...beautiful little area even in the dark lols...tftc enjoyed ever minute of the hunt..xoxo even a chance to share it with someone special...
I was already on my way to another cache when this was published - was about 10 minutes away and already driving towards it, so made a quick diversion here. I had noticed this "blank" area on the map before and considered checking it out for a cache placement. Glad someone else had the same thought. Arrived and all quiet and dark, but made a reasonably quick find at ground zero. {FTF} as well for me (I did check both ends of the log book ). FTF #1764 TFTC!!!
