Time it took me to find it was consistent with the rating..could not find it, but compass kept bringing me back to .... the location. I had been too gentle on previous sweeps but a new approach revealed the log! T4TC:-)

I set my sights on some of the Sentinel series today. I was lucky enough to find 4 and DNF 2 before calling it a day. At first upon arriving at GZ I was a little lost on where to look. I did touch the cache without realising. After rereading the description I had a lightbulb moment and went back for a closer look. The cache was uncovered, the log signed and everything returned as found just before a homeowner came towards me to see if I had found it. Obviously he is aware of the hide. TFTC and a fav point.

04-Aug-24
With accurate co-ords and the GPS pointing to a particular thing there was only one place I figuered this would be. Yes it was there, great hide JACS Team! TFTC

Tftc. Great hide. Neighbour gives helpful clue if seen searching. Pretty reflection.

When I got to the location, I realised I had been here before with Gorjess516 before I had my own account so made for a quick find! TFTC

With assistance from the owner of the property after pretending we were just curious muggles (heheh you've all done it ) loved the inventiveness . . . .

25-May-24
Property owner spotted us searching at the bottom of the property and gave us a hint! TFTC!

A day out with Kolour caching on the North side. She made the list today and I just followed along. We followed the trail of a multi cache and it took us straight past this one so, seeing how popular it was, we stopped to have a look. We both scratched around in the wrong places for a while before I had a flash of inspiration and checking it out I found I was right. Very clever hide! Thanks JACS Team!

29-Apr-24
A plan was made with Brissy Cat to find some specific caches on the north side including some that I was needing for challenge caches. This one, with so many favourites caught our eye and as we were in the area we decided to stop. With the comment about a torch, I was looking in the wrong place at first. Then we searched further and after a short time, Brissy Cat found the clever cache. Ive seen similar but not quite the same. The log sheets were full so we left a new one. Tftc

I've been over here a couple of times and from reading past logs I thought I had a good idea of what I was looking for but had come up empty. Having just found the Fathers Day Sentinel, I was full of confidence and decided to give it another go. I had been right all along just hadn't applied the right touch to retrieve. Log signed and clue noted. Thanks for the clever hide and teaching me too trust my instincts.

Out for an afternoon drive to find a few caches. Reading other logs made it a quick find. The luck of the Irish was with me today.

JACS Team I found your cache St. Patty's Day Sentinel on 10/4/2023, 1:25 pm. This is my find 4968 and find # 12 today. Seen similar ones in my travels but this one was different. Well done. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

05-Apr-23
Same as everyone else we were cruising around doing the tree fishing and spotted this cache and decided to stop.
Same as everyone else it was the first thing I put my hand on and took me reading all the logs to go back to it and try again. I never like to tug too hard and break things. Very satisfying once we had it. Collected the clue and popped everything back into place. We’ll made cache. TFTC.

15-Mar-23
We parked close by on a quiet morning and after a bit of a search the description revealed a handy hint and the log was being signed. Cache replaced as found. Thanks JACS Team for adopting this one. Fav for the hide.

12-Mar-23
Being relatively new to this craze, I still need a few more tree fishing caches to qualify for some nasty challenge. So this afternoon I took a solo drive out to Lake Samsonvale, where this tree fishing thing is popular.

Along the way I stopped to collect any interesting caches including this one. Parking nearby, I wandered over and it was the first thing I put my hand on. But the container did not come loose. I retreated and read through some logs, and realised I had the right location and indeed the container, but that my technique for gaining access to it was flawed. Nicely played JACS and WallabyWannabe

The thunder is getting louder - a big storm is coming. Many thanks

Pete

Lick of the Irish was with us today, by the time I’d got to GZ it had already been found! All good with the cache and it’s ready and waiting for the next finders

25-Mar-22
Very sneaky. Found where we first looked, but needed to read some previous logs to take us back there. Thanks for another Sentinel. Slowly working my way through them. TFTC

25-Mar-22
Out and about with Duppers searching for tree caches, we did another side cache. Great cache which Duppers found, signed, and returned to its location. TFTC

Quick find after logging a nearby tree fishing cache

Cool hide

09-Feb-22
Back here today as my daughter is at Tennis lessons nearby. Looked around for a while. Checked hint, previous logs. Went down, went up. Nothing... PAF for some assistance. With an extra hint and the thought of checking the previous spots I had looked, I finally came up with the find. Arh!!! I found one similar only a few weeks ago. I should have known. TFTC. Got home and realised I didn't get the hint. Have to go back again to grab it.

07-Feb-22
In the area hunting caches with the Cliff/Falling Rocks attribute and I was driving right past so decided to stop and have a look here too…

For such a well hidden cache I was surprised as to how quickly it came to light… clever…

Tftc… clue noted… one day I must see how many of these I have…

17-Jan-22
We headed out to chase some tree fishing caches nearby and we decided to go find this cache to turn it into a yellow smiley face along the way, we are still waiting for our pole to arrive so The Green Geckos and Muggle 65 offered us to borrow theirs, while Muggle 65 was collecting a couple of caches in this area to complete his Difficulty and Terrain Loop.

Before leaving the new geocar (Track my adventures here D78QWZ) we read the description, hint, confirmed the difficulty and terrain. We set off to walk over towards the posted GZ for the search to commence. The MummaBear and the Cubs Gang started directing the group to where we needed to go. We started our to walk towards GZ, we were discussing about where this geocache could possibly located and what we were expecting.

Thankfully after a decent search in the wrong place. We made this find MUCH harder than what it needed to be and JLK started reading previous finders logs then realised who she needed to call to being the local postie BrisLions, within minutes, Muggle 65, DFC and Princess1005 had spotted the cache, then The Green Geckos retrieved the LITTLE CHEEKY BEAUTY and we added our little ink mark to the logbook. While JLK headed back to the geocar to start writing this log.

Thank you for this cache placement Wallaby Wannabe and the cache maintenance JACS Team
Thank you for the Hunt that we made MUCH harder than it needed to be

I'm back to work tomorrow (boo) so a final geocaching outing was definitely required. Sandra and the kids stayed at home watching a movie, I headed down to Warner to put a few more smilies on the map.

This was a cheeky hide, but I soon had the cache found.

Thanks!!

Today, with family plans in the late afternoon, I thought I would make my way north-west to Draper followed by Warner, targeting a few of the tree-fishing caches. With the summer heat, I didn't want to venture too far from the vehicle's air-conditioning, and having fun with the TOTT made it an enjoyable outing. I also learned the history of Eatons Crossing; and an experience of that letterbox hybrid cache that I won't forget in a hurry!

A rather cute and scenic creek just nearby to GZ. I was checking out that area, when I looked at the coordinates, and suspected a particular hide. I was amazed that this cache didn't take too long for me to find today, although admittedly, I needed to check that particular hiding place twice. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and another clue for *A Sentinel of Wonders* obtained. Thanks WallabyWannabe for the cache placement, and JACS Team for its ongoing maintenance.

19-Nov-21
I went straight to the hide based on the description but it took a few attempts and reading of logs before I located it. Thanks for the cache

09-Sep-21
Out for the day with nikid1 to do some fishing for a D/T I need & whatever else we happened across. We were driving right past this cache so had to stop even though nikid1 had already found it. She sat in the car & was giving me no hints & let me search in numerous wrong places. Luckily our friendly postie rode past & pointed me in the right direction & I eventually came up with the very clever cache container. Log signed, clue noted & replaced as found. Dropping a favourite point here.
Thanks for the cache JACS Team (adopted from WallabyWannabe)

Last day around Brissy with Karicka before flying home to Townsville this evening.

After completing multiple geoarts, rare DTT and completing my 5th loop we had time for just a few more.

After some tree fishing nearby we stopped here. Very nicely done. FP.

Thanks JACS Team for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.

Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??

Thanks WallabyWannabe (F=2213 H=41) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

04-Apr-21
We had looked at this one and attempted to find the cache but with no luck. It wasn't until we tried a different approach that we made the find. Thanks for the cache.

04-Apr-21
Even though we have found some like this before, it was the twist to this one that took us a while to identify. Thank you for placing this cache for us to find. Glad you adopted it as it is a great cache.

02-Apr-21
Swearah and I looked for this one many moons ago and left scratching our heads. Today we arrived at GZ with a better idea of what we were looking for and made a quick find, I swear I looked there last visit. Very happy to be turning this one into a smiley today. Tftc

02-Apr-21
This was my 4th trip here to try and find this elusive one, and 2nd with jodsta83.
I couldn’t take it anymore (lol) and had PAF’d for a little hint a few months ago and today was the day to try putting that hint into practice.
At GZ, we split up and I finally made the find. Oh wow - that’s so clever!
Thanks for the great cache, JACS Team

16-Nov-20
Upon arriving at GZ, our instincts told us to look in a certain place. Place number one was wrong. Place number two was correct. A nice hide and beautifully camouflaged into the urban surroundings.
We tried to be as inconspicuous as possible, given there are plenty of possible eyes that could be watching what we are doing. No dogs today.
Thanks JACS Team

Out and about this afternoon with geopup collecting the last couple of the Sentinel series. Although I almost thought it wasn't going to happen!
After looking here there and everywhere, reading previous logs and doing another search, I ended up PAFing as the mozzies were about to carry me away. Are you kidding!! Hmm awesome clever hide.
Log signed, clue noted and cache replaced as found. A fav from me for its sneakiness.
Thanks JACS Team for the cache.

08-Nov-20
just about to give up &’ then we found it TFTC ️

08-Nov-20
Omfg !!!! I have been here like 3 times. The person who owns the house even came and asked us what we were doing. She knew about it and asked if we wanted a hint but our new goal is not to have hints so said no. After stand and think reading logs was just about to leave when I told wif3y to get out and check something and low and behold it was found !!!! So awesome !!

To hard!

26-Jul-20
Came here after lunch. Just about to leave when I finally found it! I know I tried this spot at least a hundred times, but it was finally found. I loved how this was hidden, excited to do more of the series. TFTC!

29-May-20
Snuck out of work for a late and long lunch today, and decided to grab this cache. This cache was on the radar because it fulfilled another degree in the 360 challenge. Arriving at GZ I thought wow, what a view. Winter in Queensland really is the most amazing time of year. I had no idea what I was looking for, but saw a not-very-obvious hiding hole as I parked my car. I wonder if it is in there? Yes, yes and yes! Very clever Smile. Cache and log are in good condition. Quickly signed the log and headed back out for the next sneaky cache. TFTC - and TB visits.

17-Apr-20
I was out today chasing the fishing series and a few traditional’s as I would go past. Having acquired the TOTT for my tree fishing task I set off. It was a good day and I got a lot completed in my short time.
Although I didn’t need the fishing TOTT for this cache. There was no problems with this cache once I found it and the cache was dry and in good order. After a big look around and using my Irish thinking come up empty, seems I was over thinking it. I had to call the co for a further hint. Turns out I was way too far down the Irish path and needed to reflect back into the description. Wow what a cunning plan. Log signed, cache returned, clue obtained it was then off to my next cache.
Thanks for placing this series here and a very clever hide.

17-Apr-20
Tftc. Third time lucky. Should have had it the first time. With the CO telling me to go by my instinct went back today and grabbed it straight away.

29-Feb-20
We are leaping today into an event and a series of caches and puzzles, etc with a group of friends.

Took a while to figure this one.

Log signed and replaced on February 29, 2020 at 1:25 PM. TFTC, JACS Team.

29-Feb-20
Out with friends geocaching today - Leap year Day!! Plan was hatched to collect many caches types today, so with list in hand, we were up early and off and running.

This cache was on our way to another Tree Fishing cache, so stopped to grab it. GPS was taking us all over the place, checked everything but still no cache. Echocage1 came behind me and rechecked where I had been and said "Found It". What??? How did I miss that?
What a clever hide. SL then returned as found.
A fav Point from me.

Great Leapin' day collecting caches with Snickersallan, RoddyC, Hatzofff, Patrol14 and Echocage1.
Snickersallan suggested that we should get as many different types of caches for the day. RoddyC and Hatzofff did most of the planning and plotting. Everyone chipped in one way or the other from tree-fishing pole, to gumboots, torches, lollies, bright eyes, etc etc... we were definitely prepared!
Left home at 4am, back at 9pm. Successful and very enjoyable trip hopping all over Joyner, Brisbane and the Gold Coast with 9 different types!!!

TFTC JACS Team (adopted from WallabyWanna). Took awhile till the penny dropped. Echocage1 found this for the team.

Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Cheers, E

Omg woow. Here’s me looking in the drains both sides of the road and nothing. Walk past to leave and went to touch something and low and behold it was the cache. Great hide and TFTC

05-Jun-19
Wow that was annoying. This is one of those caches that was in the first place I looked but not the first time I looked there. I then checked out both sides of the road. Touched that, prodded that and finally a cache was located. Clue noted.
TFTC.

I had read the description before arriving at the cache so knew straight away where we were going to find it. The very last one proved to be the hiding place and yes, M had already checked there but not well enough it seems! FP awarded for a well constructed cache

09-Mar-19
Sweet! We were just so lucky to have find it at first search

15-Jan-19
Getting the last few clues to finish this series. At gz the compass was pointing to a spot and I couldn't spot the cache but after a closer look yadda yadda yadda I opened the cache. What a fantastic cache. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy and the fun.this deserves a fp when I have one to give.

23-Jul-18
Decided to get out on the bike and explore the back blocks of the northern suburbs for a nice little 65 km loop on a mission to collect a number of caches.

I tried this, I tried that, I walked across the road, I walked back, I walked across the road again. I tried PAF. Eventually I retried that and there it was. Smile Cancelled PAF - not required now, all good.

24-Apr-18
Good hide. Log signed, clue noted and container returned to it's clever hide..Now with all clues in hand, it's time to head home and locate the final.

Happy St Patty's Day.

Two paddies were working for the city public works department. One would dig a hole and the other would follow behind him and fill the hole in. They worked up one side of the street, then down the other, then moved on to the next street, working furiously all day without rest, one man digging a hole, the other filling it in again.

An onlooker was amazed at their hard work, but couldn't understand what they were doing. So he asked the hole digger, "I'm impressed by the effort you two are putting in to your work, but I don't get it - why do you dig a hole, only to have your partner follow behind and fill it up again?"

The hole digger wiped his brow and sighed, "Well, I suppose it probably looks odd because we're normally a three-person team. But today the lad who plants the trees called in sick.'"

TFTC!

Quick find with help of paf to the CO earlier in the week. Awesome hide!! Very clever indeed! Tftc

10-Mar-18
Had some intel from a previous finder on what to look for after being muggled, mutted and muted on my three previous visits here. As with other finders, stealth was not an option at this locality no matter what time of day I've ventured here.

This find completes the sentinel series, finally . . . Thanks for maintaining the series JACS Team

10-Mar-18
After a failed first attempt was awarded a paf from the lovely new CO that had me astounded! What an awesome hide! Now to collect more sentinels!

Today was another great Thursday Fun Day of caching in the company of barbbowman and Raynersinoz Cool Today was the day that Raynersinoz wanted to try to complete the 25 Unique D/Ts in a Day Challenge, and of course barbbowman and Mrs Just a Trifle just had to join in for the fun Razz

We managed to get up to all sorts of hijinks along the way on our adventure, and we found all but 1 of the caches on our list, plus a few extras that we came across while in the area. This was our first cache for the day and with a familiar hide, it was easily located and our names added to the log book.

Thank you JACS Team for having placed this cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

i do like a 25 d/t day ... rio has a plan and mrs jat and i are along for the ride

thought we were heading to a different cache
that explains why it doesn't look familiar
rio has it found while i am still lacing up my boots

Another Thursday and another challenge - today I'm out with barbbowman and Mrs JustaTrifle to see if I can complete Fangsoki's 25 D/Ts in one day challenge. Let's see how I go...

This is cache #1 for the challenge (D/T 3.0/1.5) and after reading the description, I knew exactly where to look. I have seen variations on this theme and I always love these hides. Very clever and a great cache to start the challenge on. TFTC JACS Team and WallabyWannabe Big Grin

This is our lucky last cache for this lazy Sunday afternoon. Believe it or not, this is our third time here, the last two times had come up busted, we couldn’t look properly as the neighbour’s dog was relentless with its barking and the next time someone was mowing so all chances of stealth were forgotten about.

Today we came with a bit of intel from Woodyrothwell, but seeing as the intel was a while ago now and and we had all been drinking when the intel was delivered to us, we kind of forgot. We arrived at GZ and looked at each and remembered he did give us a clue but what was it??? After a bit of head scratching and Mr 4ando saying that it was on the other side of the road that the vital bit of information was remembered.

After slowly picking up this series over the last couple of years (yes it takes us that long to finish a series), we only have one left to go. Leaving a FP for the clever hide…

I was really having a hard time of it today. I had a severe case of man-flu. Not like the man-flu that most whiny husbands get where they can't do housework, and complain it is the worst cold on the planet, and don't want to be around their wife's friends, but can still put down a beer to two. Now I spell it out that's exactly what I had (but my cold was the worst one on the planet).

I'd had a few DNFs because my caching mojo just wasn't with me today and it almost looked like this cache would be another. My phone was jumping around more than a rabbit that hasn't had sex for a month. That poor rabbit, but then just thinking about all that copulation refocused my effort to find this cache. Maybe if I open my eyes and look, rather than day-dreaming about cot-action I might have a better chance of finding it.

I crossed the road that many times that I lost count. If I had some spare white paint I would have laid down a pedestrian crossing for myself. That place looks good and so does that. If only my phone would stop thinking about rabbits I might be a chance.

Time to read some past logs and try to glean some information to help get this done. All I read were sexual innuendos everywhere and without my wife I didn't want to start something I couldn't finish. "Pull this", "touch that", "felt good". I could keep quoting these lame references from past logs and so I will. "Put my fingers on it", "it came out", "it was in my hand".

Enough of this morally corrupt nonsense, I was here to find a cache. Finally I read between the lines from one log and I realised that I too had had my hand on it (the cache you people on my wave length). This time I fooled around a bit more and the log was revealed. Now I can return to my day job as an amateur erotic novelist. I might use this log as the first chapter for my next book. tftc

Tricky little bugger this one is. Out in the rain and I got quite wet despite knowing where to look. Hunting them down before I adopt the cache.
