DNF If no plants need to be disturbed to locate this cache then the cache has gone and the co ords that place you in the middle of flaxes are wrong.
Look a lot of searching and wondering what level we should be on, but got there in the end. Found with toby84
Found with a good view of the Harbour and park. We looked all over the hide previously past time. Don't know why we didn't find it last time. Found with Reny90
Yaaaay, found this today, brought a team with me because I'm not great at spotting these. Credit goes to my sister for locating it, she wasn't afraid to do a little poking around.
Found with sin on this beautiful day. Quick search around and it wasn't long before we spotted the cache Thank you for the cache
Lovely spot here and several interesting fungi specimen. Cache was spotted by one and retreived by another while the third was preoccupied trying to get rid of the sap from her hands. Thats the beauty of caching in a team. Thanks for the maintenance check otherwise we may just have given this a miss. TFTC # 17,964
In Auckland for the Mega with Isis58 and no.13. We've had a most excellent day - - at the Mega of course but also picking up as many other caches as we had time for. We found this cache, signed the log, then realised it was time we skidaddled to the airport to drop off our rental car and ourselves. How time flies when you're having fun. Thanks for this tricky hide.
This cache was checked and found in position in December 21. No plants need to be disturbed to locate this cache.
After a frustrating caching day at the domain, I decided to grab some local caches to help fill the void.
Way too much flex in the way. Will give this a miss

Suspect at top of cliff looking across inlet. I don't think the wooden boardwalk was open when cache placed. Had a good look around near the huge tree stump and surrounding shrubs. No luck
Great geo! Was out for a walk while kids at badminton and decide to go for a hunt. No pen to sign sadly! TFTC
Almost sapped of all energy while looking in the wrong place. A quick rethink, new vantage point brought new life to the fore. Tftc
Found on the way north to find a few caches with friends. . nice views of the harbour
Today was another attempt to collect all the caches in the Papakura area. Know we will have to come back yet again. Got beaten by the tide for 3 of the caches in area. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap), ABCDF4, and eyespyben... We were keen to investigate the nighttime event in Totara Park. In the meantime, we needed a few distractions to amuse ourselves. Finding some caches should do the trick...
Momentary indecision about which level to be on... A quick find thereafter. Thanks tab20 and TFTC.

This one had is stumped literally. Think we know where it should be but no luck.
3rd DNF in a row. Things are not going well. Here I was confident I knew where I’d be searching but I still failed to come up with the goods. Next time after a few more ‘found it’ logs.
Dnf and lost trust pen too, not a good one for me maybe next time but too hot n not prepared
Find number 4557. I had called once before with no luck. I came back today from different direction not realizing I had been here before (Until I got to GZ). I also did not see all the DNFs.
This time a brief search I had the cache in hand. Cache all good, Thank you for the placement.

This one was a little tough. We all had different coordinates but we were *so* close. Maybe on a better day
On an early morning caching mission, 2 of the clan hatched a plan to make an early morning trip north and to find enough caches to qualify for the Planetary Pursuit. Careful planning was made and we had a very enjoyable hunting out the caches. Thanks also go out to all the cache owners who have placed and maintained the caches. Been here before and struck out, coords were way off for us and the hint could have been better, but after widening the search area we found it
Yay found it after quite some looking. Left a small 3D printed part inside for the next person
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
Surprise, I didn't expect, that the Owner is going to do any maintenance here, but he did. So I started another try today and after a short search I could find it finally! One Smiley more

Couldn't find it either. This one seemed to be away and the Owner wasn't online since a year. Because I don't want that that Cache becomes archieved I will replace a new box here in the next few days.

Mmh, what can I say, I did not find it. It was too hot and too much vegetation to struggle through, so I quit. Maybe next time... Tftc anyway.
After painting trees with mud during the close by CITO I ventured further to met up with a friend for coffee. Collected on my way. Log was very wet. TFTC
My husband came with me but I lead him down the garden path. Retraced our steps and made a quick find. Log paper was very wet. Just able to write my name & date
Its Been a while and now its time to catch up on all the logging that I've put off to a rainy day (while it may not be raining, where we were heading the roads are still closed hence sitting here doing this).
Back out on the road with HKCB to grab a few caches along the way or at least as much as a morning would allow as we needed to be back in Hamilton for mid afternoon (I know cutting the cahing day rather short). So todays target were those caches along and about the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
It only took a few moments before we had the cache in hand
Thanks for the Cache, thanks for the Placement

Teamed up with Cats&Dragons and RWIMF today to tackle some GROTTY caches plus a few finds in the Botanic Gardens, with the focus on a few solved puzzles that have been in the solved pile for a little to long. In the end it turned out to be a hugely successful day with all but 1 cache found, a big thanks to all the CO's for the hides.
As RWIMF had other places to be this afternoon we had dropped her off back at home and C&D and me thought we find a few more caches before we made our way home as well.
Temporarily forgot how to GPS and wandered off in the wrong direction, but once I had figure it out again and got to GZ I got a quick find.

I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Out with LhutiNe to pick the required number up.
Cheers for the cache.

After finishing up work commitments near the airport I had a few hours to myself so I headed off to find a few caches to the South. I followed my GPS and nose to where I initially thought the cache would be but once I had a better look round I saw an even more likely hiding place and that's where I found the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Cycled round here today to find this cache and the nearby "Batter Up!" cache. Arriving at GZ with the knowledge that the coordinates were a bit off I looked for the most common types of cache locations around GZ without climbing on the bank as said in the clue. In the end however it was the coordinates and previous logs that did arouse my suspicion and gave me an idea leading to the cache. I was on high alert for muggles throughout my search, only spotting a few which were well avoided in advance thanks to their loud talking. Log signed and returned, TFTC, a good first hide tab20
As others have already mentioned, the coords seem slightly off (maybe that's where it used to be?) Logic will help with this find tftc!
I decided to have a bit of a Sunday drive around and grab some easy park n grabs. Thanks.
Didn't have to work today, so decided to head out and pick up some requiremets for my GIO licence. This one fit the bill nicely, and bonus, it was close to home, so I put it on my hit list.
I had read a couple of previous logs, but still went a bit astray. Took the low path at first but had to stop and scratch my head when the coordinates weren't adding up. Re-evaluated, re-read and took a different route, and then I immediately spotted the perfect hiding spot. Had a quick look and didn't see anything, so tried another spot a few paces away. Turned out I wasn't looking from quite the right angle, because when I returned, I spotted the hide straight away.
As I prepared to sign the log, I saw a couple of ladies heading my way with a picnic basket. Doh. Luckily i was pretty hidden where i was, so I quickly completed the formalitles and then pretended to be tying my shoe, and taking photos. This tactic worked a treat, because when I wandered back and passed the ladies, I was greeted with a "It's a lovely spot to take photos, isn't it?" I replied with an "It sure is!", and with an innocent smile, I was on my way.... whew, got away with it!!!!

Approached this and were unsure of whether to take the high path or the low path, but as it turned out it did not matter. One of us managed to get pine resin on our trousers, which forced us to go to Papakura and buy replacement trousers, so we could continue on with our caching in the area today. Signed as Team Westies.
Some took the high path, others the low and then Mrs Jag50 called out found it, sat down to sign the log and managed to cover her bum in pine resin. A visit to Vinnie's Boutique in Papakura for a pair of bargain trousers and we were able to continue caching
We were unsure which path to choose, so some of Team Westies took the high path and others the low. After much searching as the co-ords were out, logic reigned and the cache was found by Mrs Jag50, who promptly sat on a pine tree to sign the log and ended up covered in sap - requiring a new pair of pants to be purchased.
This whole area is fenced off at the moment with what looks like drainage work being carried out. Looks like this cache may be inaccessible for a little while?
A quick trip to Auckland this weekend and a day set aside for caching with tmann421.
Co-ords a little out for us, but a quick find anyway. TFTC

What a beautiful spot! Just as I was saying "surely it can't be here..." my partner finds it. Thank you for this cache
Quickest find of the afternoon, nice hide. For anyone crazy enough to rely on caching logs for traffic updates, the motorway is fine in both directions! TFTC.
Quick and easy find especially when a little gecko shows you the way daughter thought that was cool cheers
Sitting here having lunch and thought I wonder if there's any caches here.
Only 10 meters away what luck.
Found the wasp nest first then the cache.
Tftc.

Auckland Council have now fenced off this location. I will advise amended coordinates shortly.
Found with the kids. The track has become quite an adventure. There's a nice DOC man closing the track for repairs.
Out for a walk with my family including tab20. Pretty cool to find a geocache created by somebody in your family.
Took care as we approached GZ and after a short look the cache was soon located. Thanks
Well this one has me stumped. I had a good look around in the leaves by the fallen tree, but couldn't find the cache.
Thought this might be an easy one while out on a walk. Not so lucky today. Will definitely be coming back to find it and get some sunset pics over the water.
Had been in the local area to see a play "How the Kiwi lost its wings"
After the show we headed out with Keylev, Laval and Cragger to do a few caches before heading home.
We may have approached this one from the wrong direction however after some careful footwork we soon had the cache in hand.

Had just finished watching How the Kiwi Lost its Wings in the nearby theatre as eir-ot (part of the Stik-a-Crane clan) was starring in it and saw there were a few caches nearby so decided to take a look.
Of course we took the harder entrance to this one where the path goes 'off road' but GZ was still easily found and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
