GZ has become a rubbish dump so disabling until I can find a more suitable location.
Been here 12 mths already and never seen that little lay to though go past every other day. TFTC.
getting back into the game after a long absence. crunched the numbers and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
After a reset of our gamin and fiddling around with the numbers (all the street signs) we found it!!! Finally
And another one done. Slightly tricky as Im starting to expect from bobbiesgirl. TFTC
Found while in the area for work. Actually, drove past it to the jobsite. I figured out some details before leaving the office, but once at GZ I had to fiddle with the numbers a bit. The first co-ordinates put me 2km out to sea! A re-jigging the numbers to come up with something a bit closer and voila! Cache in hand and signing away. This is a beautiful part of the world around here in Arakoon, thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl.
We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort at Gold Coast and then at the Big4 NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort at Arrawarra (Coffs Harbour), with some other as yet undetermined overnight stops along the M1 route there & back. Will be attempting to log a broad selection of cache types whilst in Queensland (at least one each of Trad, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earth, Wherigo, Virtual, & AdLab), including a visit to Queenslands oldest geocache GC8E - Queens land. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today (day 7) we cached around the South West Rocks area. Started off with a morning cache collecting circuit walk (12 caches found) commencing from our accommodation at the Big4 Ingenia Holidays caravan park, across the pedestrian footbridge over South West Rocks Creek to Back Beach, following the sandy bush track out to the breakwall and then around to New Entrance Road, and then through the backstreets & pathways to return to the caravan park. After lunch we headed out to Arakoon to visit the Trial Bay Gaol ruins, and then collected a couple of MultiCaches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, and a Traditional cache on our way back to camp. The rest of the late afternoon was spent lazing around in the swimming pool. This was the 14th of 16 finds for the day (day 7), and 106th find of the holiday. After finding the Laggers Point MultiCache we then stopped at this MultiCache on our way back to camp. Gathered all of the required information from the signage (one of them was a bit sneaky) and then, after a few computations, we were off to final GZ. Soon arrived at final GZ and made a nice quick find of the cache container. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC bobbiesgirl.Find #6741
This log is a combination of 4 days worth in our visit to South West Rocks. We must say, one of the best area of caches that we have done in a long time. All caches were there and well maintained. When we had problems the CO was prompt to respond and push us in the right direction. Around SWR we were using our bikes and there were areas where it was hard going pushing the bikes through the soft sand to the GZ, but well worth it when we arrived and took in the scenery. We may not get them all done this time around with one day to go, but we will be back to enjoy this area again in the not too distant future.
Thanks bobbiesgirl for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 14472,
This was a fun idea for a multi. That resort really wants you to know where it is, hey. Found cache after a little search around a bit of rubbish dumped here and then reading the hint. Thanks for the multi.
After a miss last visit and a relocation by CO today it was a successful find. Thanks for checking this one CO, and replacing.
Cache has been relocated slightly and questions have been amended. Extra hint provided. Cache good to go again.
Had the right location for this multi but couldn’t find the prize. Seems it’s been a while since this one’s been found too. Thanks for the multi. We will revisit on next trip to town.
Access is hampered now due to a large branch falling on the cache. will be relocating slightly and reworking the puzzle.

I have been looking at this one for a while, and today decided to actually do it!
Both the cache container and log are in great condition.

I photographed the signs yesterday, as we headed out for MrT to walk the Green Island Firetrail. While he was walking I solved the coords.
Today heading back to camp from a morning walking and Birdwatching, we pulled over and headed to GZ. The GPS was bouncing from one to the other, one logical and one not so much. Eventually MrT located it at the logical one!
Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

It would help if my basic maths didn't fail me today. Good grief - the simplest of tasks made harder by the tiredest of heads. Lol

I cheekily tried to solve this one from home, but a tip for young players, you can’t . Collected all the info on site and made our way to GZ. All good here.

South West Rocks long weekend day 3 with Team Canary, and Everest High.
After an enjoyable morning paddle to collect the mangrove madness series near Stuarts Point, EH and I visitied the Yarri-a-bini virtual before heading back to town to meet up with Team Canary for lunch. Then of course there was more caching to be done, even after Team Canary took a short break.
Gathered clues with EH and soon had some coords in hand. For a brief moment, thought cache might have been buried by much mulch, but found safe and sound nearby.

Did this quick multi on the way to the Gaol for the last AL 3 coffee stops and was able to quickly collect the required info and do the necessary mental arithmetic before proceeding to GZ. I liked the hide there, but the location wasn't that great and, sadly, is obviously used by some as a dumping ground.
Thanks for an enjoyable multi bobbiesgirl.

While staying in the area we made a selection of caches to look for today, along with ilook4geo. We had a good day and found what we wanted. This was a pleasant drive towards and around South West Rocks. Nice little off set multi. Many thanks go to bobbiesgirl for placing this cache and giving us another smiley.
Found this cache while out with goingplaces2. Nice easy find after working out the right numbers. Not too far away. TFTC.
Tftc bobbiesgirl, collected the digits and had the right numbers as per check sum. Quick find a shirt walk away.
Found with cullum68 on a walk in this beautiful part of the country a nice quick multi thanks for the cache
A nice multi. Straightforward questions and a checksum. A short walk to GZ. Nice container. Thanks for this nice multi.
Well it's not often the you can do a MULTI-tube whilst sitting in the car!!!! All good with the cache after short stroll to GZ.. Thanks bobbiesgirl.

I can’t pass up a nice quick multi. So this one needed to be collected.
I also love Multi’s with Check Sums. As I had originally made an error, and the check sum didn’t add up. Upon going back through my workings.... ohhhhhhh there are two sides to each of the signs... haha (bloody logo)
Cheers

enjoyed this one, a bit worried about one of those bark piles that was smoking but a quick sign and we were out of there. TFTC
I never expected to be doing some of the things I've been doing to find caches !!
Great hints and great hide !

Had do the decode twice on this cache today since the checksum didn’t come up right because of a stupid error and a misinterpretation. Once I’d managed to get it right only a short walk to GZ where I quickly spotted the hide. Did take a couple f attempts to retrieve the cache as some local ants had made their home there and were none to pleased to be disturbed. TFTC
After a Long Look at all these signs, I made my way to the GZ.

This cache is the closest to our holiday house, so we checked it out early. Our counting proved to be correct then we headed off to our final destination and found the good hide. Thanks again bobbiesgirl for a good multi.
So many signs !! [:o]
All I wanted was a sign of where the cache was
I guess I will just have to do the math
And after a few laps of said signage,
me mind quickly becoming numbed by too many bits of council logoism,
I worked out a sensible sence of coords
And over there,
a cache was found

Nice and straight forward. Good hide. There was a guy there collecting mulch. He was interested in us. Maybe he thought we were on a call of nature.
A multi, asked Vicky, what do you think have we got time, checked it out and we figured it was an easy one and it was then we walked up the road for the treasure, glad we done it.TFTC
After collecting the necessary information at WP1 - you certainly need to look very carefully around the signs - the calculations were made and a quick find was made at GZ. Thanks bobbiesgirl for this multi.
**# 21149** Found on our 2018 mega adventure to ACT, NSW, QLD and beyond.
Another clear dry Autumn day for a drive to South West Rocks.
Quite a few muggles on the roads today and a few more good hides.
Thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl,

Great clues and hide. Log is damp however so probably in need of a replacements. TFTC
Today we took the trip north to South West Rocks to find some caches, a number of creative hides and pleasant scenery to keep us entertained.
A nice multi which we solved quickly and after verifying with the checksum got to GZ and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache

This locality is one of the most scenic we have encountered and we managed not only to find this great cache but have lunch at the tavern and a swim in the bay. Fav point alloc. Thanks to bobbiesgirl for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
In the rain, we were able to do the homework from the car and stay dry. Then it was time to put the umbrellas up and go for a short walk to GZ. As we got close, we knew we must be in the right spot as the hint added up well with where we were heading.
A nice neat multiand a quick find at GZ.
Thanks Bobbiesgirl,

A fun puzzle multi as we head out of town. Thanks for all the local adventures. The whole family had a wonderful time here. TNLN TFTC
Little one was still sleeping in the car so decided to finally stop and read the signs. I had tried getting the wife to take pics as we drove past that didn't work. Much easier when you have stopped. Calculated coords and made a quick find on the way back to camp. TFTC

Find No: 6319. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Trial Bay for the HAVOC Incarcerated Event, thanks for the cache bobbiesgirl!!
We were on a multi roll today with this being our second of three. Unfortunately the roll took a slight dive when our co-ordinates didn't match the checksum. We soon discovered the massively obvious error and continued on to GZ. A good hide, particularly like the all weather cover. TFTC bobbiesgirl.
I worked this one out a while ago, found some free time today so off I went.
Thought I was in the wrong spot for a minute and went back and read the hint. Had cache in hand in no time.
My firts multi, had a great time working it out

Hi there bobbiesgirl.
We found your cache **"A MULTI-tude of Signs"** at 11:43:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 17637).
We cached around South West Rocks & Arakoon today. We thoroughly enjoyed our jaunt around the area & ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 13 caches (& DNF'd 1). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 6m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Today we moved on from Scotts Head and decided to have a look at South West Rock, a place we have not been to before.
We have set up camp nearby so headed off on the deadly treddly to find a few caches nearby.
A multi of a different kind. Haven't come across one like this before. We enjoyed it and soon had the info we needed. Had to ride back a bit, but it was worth it for the find.
A well constructed hide that certainly should be weatherproof.

We are in South West Rocks as part of the Dune Care weeding program. This event lasts 25/6 to 31/6. We have come here from the Blue Mountains to help out. We weed for half the day and cache for the rest. The caches here have shown us much of what this area has to offer. TFTC and the effort you have gone to in maintaining them. Finish our Mondays weeding.
After a DNF for the first to find 2 years ago I finally got back.
Just too many fish last year to cache so this year the wind came up so a quick trip from the Hat over for a look and the cashe was in hand in seconds.
Strange spot but a clever play with the signs.

After the seering temperature of yesterday we were unprepared for the rain that we experienced today.
We firstly headed up to Stuarts Point , returning by South West Rocks.
Such interesting locations & some very clever caches found.
Another long time since we had collected all the information. At that stage we were sprung by the local policeman but we realised we had known him from when he was shorter than I am.
Today we were quickly onto the final hide. With some many signs to confuse you, I think the difficulty rating could be higher.
Thanks for placing this cache bobbiesgirl

I miscalculated the significant digit of the southing by 1. It put me where the breakwater was out in the ocean. A quick check of the checksum and I figured out which was wrong. Found it on the way back to SWR's. Another inventive hide. Thanks bobbiesgirl.
At first headed for what we thought was an obvious direction but gps told us exactly where to go.
The phone number from which clues are to be gathered has become faded and difficult to read - YES, in case you are wondering, there IS a phone number! I have reworded the clues to reflect the changes.
Another great cache that we had fun putting together. Thank you for your work putting these together.

Got the info for this a week ago as I passed through but couldn't locate any phone number on the signs.
Worked with the numbers for a while and got a set of Co-ords that looked good and matched the checksums.
They were good as they put me right on GZ.
Nice hide.

Many thanks for this multicache. It took a while to work out all the signs, but a quick find at GZ. TNLN SL TFTC
Thought whilst we were on a roll we would try this one again. We have been here so often the big sign smiled at us and said hi ozglory. I could have slapped him, just hard enough to take the smirk from his face. We worked our way through the clues, checked them against the check sum and all looked good. We arrived at our new GZ and a fairly quick find was made. Then the discussions started as to who actually made the find. I still think it was me after all i said try over there and stop messing about. Thank you for placing this cache. tnln sl. why we have had trouble with this one in the past is totally beyond me. Now that it is a smiley it seems so simple.
Lucky for us there is a check sum or we would have been lost with D and H. We couldn't see a phone number anywhere but maybe we are a little blind today? Worked out the final coordinates and found the DZ which was muggle free and that helped as we were standing back like idiots waiting for the GPS to settle. Cute little hide for this one! Thank you.
Gathered required information, check, wrong i don't think the cache is in the middle of the ocean. Try again. got it right this time. off we go. cache soon in hand, thanks bobbiesgirl..
Quickly gathered the info and a quick check to makes it was right then on our way, Arrived at GZ and the GPS didn't want to play a bit of a wander and back on track and the cache soon in hand That looks a bit out of place ??? TFTC SL thanks bobbiesgirl
Not sure if I went temporarily blind but I didn't see any phone numbers so I had to use the check sum to figure out D & H
But still found it!
But still found it!
Both of us searched for 30 minutes but DNF. Our GPS numbers added up correctly and we knew we were in the right spot, but nothing
Checked signposts today, all are present and correct. Cache is in good condition and in correct location. Good to go again

Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass, at 1225. Great fun with several answers offered for each question. Count again and wait for unison. GZ was where we wished we could take some back to Melbourne. Our thanks to bobbiesgirl.
Found at 12:24 PM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob.
Having gone out to Green Island View to help maccamob achieve a centroid challenge, we then headed over to the tavern for a nice lunch. Along the way we stopped at the intersection and started the number gathering, but we nearly made a mistake right away if it were not for David wondering if there was information on both sides
Check sum confirmed our calc's and we were off! It became basically a drive-by and David was quick in recognising the good hide.
Thanks bobbiesgirl.
