Another great find in the Ebenezer geo quest series, a series I wouldn't have started now if it were not for a conversation which was had at the 2023 NYE event hosted by thomo31 in Mt Riverview.
Stayed the long weekend at the winery, had a great time . Out for a quick walk this morning to find these close hides. Managed to lose Claudette along the way, due to ready to eat mulberries nearby. TNLNSL, thanks for the cache! Cheers, Walter
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" easy & hard souvenir chase. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 2) we explored the areas around Wilberforce, Ebenezer, and Sackville. Completed a five stage Adventure Lab, as well as a couple of random Adventure Lab stages (waypoints), and collected numerous Traditional caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, a MultiCache, and a Virtual cache. This was the 22nd of 31 finds for the day (day 2), and 42nd find of the holiday.
Continued driving along Tizzana Road and this was the next cache we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ, albeit being a sneaky and well stashed hide. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC teamMerlin.

Following the event here this afternoon, I decided to find this cache which has been waiting for me quietly, even though I have been here at the vineyard for quite a few events over the years. TFTC.
A nice day for a drive. Came here for this cache a quick find
Thanks to all the owners who let us find their goodies and thought of these places

I was attending an event about 60 metres away. The CO of this cache was kind enough to come for a walk with me to make sure I made the find. Good thing I had his help. I might have DNFed the sneaky hide otherwise!
Thanks for the wine and the cache!

Found this ages ago along with 8 other caches. Thank the Lord for lists otherwise these wouldn't have been logged!
I joined Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK for a trip to Sydney to drop in on another Celebration Event. This time in the Hawksbury. We used up the rest of the day doing a series of Challenge caches near Penrith, including a bonus First to Find, and then some of the EG caches surrounding the event location. A long but exhiklerating day of caching.
Thanks for the cache teamMerlin

Headed Sydney way with fitzy_1965 and albida33 today.
We had seen the community celebration event a few weeks ago. I was keen to get to Ebenezer as my Australian family roots come from there so made plans to head north today. After a foggy start, it turned out to be a rather warm day compared to Canberra and surrounds lately.
On our way through Ebenezer, we decided to start doing this series of caches. My Ancestry Family Reunion is held in Ebenezer at the Church every 5 yrs. It got postponed from last year and has just been postponed again so nice to come up here regardless. My descendants, on my Australian side, were on the Neptune which was part of the Second Fleet. They are buried at Ebenezer and Wilberforce cemeteries.
Turning to head for home, we collected a few more caches whilst we had some time up our sleeves. Thanks teamMerlin.

24,761. Found with minniek and albida33 during a run up to the Ebenezer region for a Community Celebration Event.
When we spotted another Community Celebration Event being held up at a Winery in the Ebenezer region, we decided to head up that way for a full day of caching. A foggy start from Goulburn had us soon burn through for what was a lovely day to be outside. After finishing off a bunch of challenge caches along The Northern Road - including a surprise first to find - we started doing the EG-Q series and other bonus caches along the way. After the event we continued along cherry-picking caches. This was a nice quick find - and nicely set up ! Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks teamMerlin !! Favourite Point !

We're on the road to Bathurst on our yearly boy's southern roadtrip. Nice warm and sunny weather, and 33 assorted finds made for a great day out.
I get the hint now - we did reef the wrong one out first though, seemingly not the first to do so either.... TFTC!

Well done, really enjoyed this too. Tftc and another fave point from me. Gorgeous spot here.
Nicely hidden in such a beautiful location. Saw CO on our drive past. Fav from us TFTC
We parked close to GZ, giving up on this inconspicuous bit. Then the CO himself strolled over to see how we were going. We had a great chat about caching and puzzle caches. What else is there worth talking about? It was very nice to meet him. TFTC and the hints teamMerlin.

Team Merlin. Quick park and grab.

Streak day 60.
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Well it was getting hot out today but couldn’t pass up a teamMerlin cache! Had me going around in circles for a few minutes as I misjudged the hint. Worked it out in the end and yes great camo, I even got to meet the CO which was fantastic!

After missing the event I had to come out and try the wines, not much reception. Well none! But eventually found it
Another beaut hide that would elude plenty .
The cache owner wandered out as well and we had a great chat .
No one around and a beautiful area to drive around.
Fav tick for the sneaky hide and location .
Many thanks for the caches .

We were very kindly escorted to GZ, feom the nearby event, when our phones failed to connect to the internet. Once there, MsS swooped. This hide was reminiscent of one she found years ago in Dural, and has been amongst her favourites ever since. TFTC
Since we were at the cellar this presented a very good opportunity to find the two caches lying on either end! When we first ventured out through Ebenezer and Sackville we passed this road in favour of the main road and the Ebenezer History series. With a chance to check this side road out for the event, I learned we missed out on quite a lot during that first trip. This cache confused me at a glance, but on the second pass it immediately made sense. I guess I really need fellow cachers to kick in some proper cache-vision. Sneaky little hide, too! Thanks very much for the cache!

After attending the New Year's day event at the Tizzana Vineyard I wanted to do some more caches whilst slowly driving back home.
Many of the finds were related to the Ebenezer GeoQuest series, but as I did not manage to visit all of the 25 caches, I definitely will need to comeback for more geocaching in this beautiful area.
Before driving away, I first wanted to check out the two caches close to the winery. This cache was a very sneaky hide. Only after logging the hint started to make sense.

Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Clever cache and a worthy fav point. Cheers oldmorty.
Out caching with @itsonlybarney.
Suffering from a bit of geocaching withdrawal after our geocaching holiday. We decided to take the opportunity of the good weather to grab as many caches as we could. We managed to get 25 finds for the day. TFTC.

After a week way from the searching for caches after our holiday, we needed to get out and about on a glorious day. With a total of 25 finds for the day, it felt good to make some finds after a week of no finds.
All caches were in excellent condition except as otherwise noted in my comments below.

Love an ingenious cache. Not much I can really say about this other than well made and deserving of a FP.

#7835 - 16:00; Day two of the Macquarie mayhem cache hunt with Sol de lune and andrewbt and this was our last stop before heading for home with a big bag of GCA caches and a handful of GC caches as well. While I was signing the log for this cache on behalf of the team, abt came down the driveway and said "Are you looking for another cache?". I replied "I'm signing the log for it!" He said, "Then what's that up there?" I looked up and right above my head was a GCA cache hiding in plain view. abt retrieved it and after a bit of checking, we added our names to the blank log sheet to end our mission. TFTC teamMerlin
What a wonderful complex! looks European. Unfortunately the winery was not open! Tftc
After the Meet & Greet event at the winery I was guided by Team Merlin and Phlphotos as to where this cache was. Though I actually had to find it and spend a while to pull out the log. Thanks Team Merlin.
Came by after the Meet & Greet event at the winery with lucky1955 keeping a watchful eye. I quick find and then back to the coolth of the cellar. Thanks teamMerlin.
I've finished work for today and have arrived at the International Cacheing Day Event and noticed this Ebenezer Qeo Quest cache out the front. So I thought I may as well grab it, but, there I was a person standing next to GZ so I asked if they are here for the event. Indeed it was Paul the Hippie so I carried on with grabbing the cleverly disguised cache that was in plain sight. I completed the formalities and continued on to meet some new faces.

Finally I have arrived at the venue for todays International Geocaching Day Event!
This is such a beautiful location.
I parked the geomobile and walked over to GZ where I was able to take in the views - vineyards, a historic stone building, and water with birds on it.
I really liked this cache, not just for the great location but because it required a bit of thinking outside the box. What does the hint mean? You know when you find the cache but it doesn't actually tell you where the cache is hidden.
Luckily the area was deserted while I retrieved the cache and signed the log.
TFTC # 2118, 10th find today.

Having farewelled the others from the M&G nearby, I headed over for one last cache before returning to The Shire. I had CIH when I saw the hint and log signed. Sneaky hide that would be seen by muggles all the time as they pass by. TFTC
Out today with the garbageman, his two beautiful daughters and my daughter. The aim of the day to find 25 different D/T combos in a day . This was number 10 of the day and lucky it was a quick one so we contiue on with our task . Thanks for the cache teamMerlin tnln sl
In town today in search of 25 different D:T combos, in the excellent company of my geokids (3 and 5) and the Mighty Minions. A wonderful day - filled with great family moments, about 8km of walking (the last kilometre by torchlight in complete darkness), some very cheeky hides, and most importantly, NOT A SINGLE DNF! Thanks to all the COs in the region - the coords today were consistently very good, and the caches and logs were by and large in great condition.
This was the tenth of the day and a quick find, which was a relief as we were starting to freak out about how much time had already passed and how many combos were still needed! Fortunately we guessed the hide very promptly. TNLN TFTC

Found with BillHill531 and my son. We made the two hour trip down here for some unique caches and attend some events. A fun day ending with fifteen finds, six different cache types, and we were not even trying!
This was our second stop. We actually parked within five meters of the cache. we still needed to get out of the car. Not only for the cache, but for the event here as well. Cache was found quickly, having seen one of these before. Well crafted. Then we headed up to the event.

Well today is another day on which I need a few finds to meet my goal of one find on each calendar day per year cached by the end of 2017 - that's at least 5 finds every day for those wondering.
Only a dozen days left that don't qualify and this is one of three that still need two finds...
But this is also my wedding anniversary (one of the reasons for a lack of finds) and we have plans - the Geowife had booked us tickets to The Titanic Exhibition at the Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park.
Enjoyed the exhibition and then had lunch nearby...
But I have something up my sleeve. We then went to Ebenezer / Sackville for afternoon Tea at *Tractor 828*. I've been there before when in the area, but my better half was totally unaware of it.
So more yummy food later we took a pleasant drive along Tizzana Road. Oh look, there are four caches I can pick up as we go. What luck...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Nice easy one to finish.
Quickly spotted the likely hide - OK second place I checked. Completed signing duties, grabbed the clue and replaced. The Geowife hadn't seen one like this.
Nice panorama from GZ with the vineyards.
Time for home. Nice area, thanks for bringing us here.
