Hi pukeho1
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Out on a beautiful spring morning walk with the fur monsters but this one eluded us unfortunately. No matter, a lovely walk all the same
We had a pretty good idea of where this should be — combed there, rest of object, other objects, and looked on the ground.
Wooohoo first find of the day after not finding the 2 previous. It's definitely hidden away and tiny. We spent a while looking in the bushes where it definitely isn't
Hump day, and the start of the end of the working week. But as always there's the simple matter of grabbing at least 1 cache for the day,
Ugh, it was raining when I left work, but it was supposed to pass by shortly. In the end it took longer to dissipate and so it was dark by the time I could go out and not get soaked. I really miss Daylight Saving time.
The Seagnoid joined me this evening, so I had some company on the 500m walk to GZ as it appears they close the access road off in the evening. Once we got there, we were hoping for a quick find but it actually took us a little while to locate it. The co-ords are a little out but nothing major. We got there in the end and took one of the few remaining spaces in the logs to put in TATS (TwigNZ and the Seagnoid)
Thanks for setting up this cache.

It's raining. And I'm at work. Well that has canned my original plan, which was to cycle up the riser to the top of the hills. My road bike, with its skinny tyres, would never cope on tha wet muddy clayey track. So I came out here. TwigNZ hadn't got his cache yet so we took the car. And when we get to the car park, the rain had stopped! Nice! Walked down in the dark, found the cache after a bit of futzing around. A bit muddy underfoot as a large tree has been taken out and there is a big dozer mucking up the ground. But this is a long way from GZ, the cache is still safe.
Only one place left in the log.

Quick find on a Sunday walk. Managed to grab a few blackberries on the way to GZ. Cache and log in good order. TFTC
This was a bit of a lonely cache but Mr M5 made an almost instant find once we identified the target search area. Glimpsed the hen, maybe more than one but they weren’t hanging around today. TFTC
Nice quick find. Thought I would struggle to roll the log back small enough to fit but I managed to get it on the first try. Thanks for the cache. Think I better turn around and head back now. Will finish the series another day when I'm not starting to get hungry....
A quick find under the cover of darkness, and fun to be had rolling the log lol. TFTC
I parked my car at the Belmont Domain, outside the scout hall, and went for a run to explore the river trail. It's been an interesting four or five kilometres; pretty desolate for the most part. I've only seen one other person on the whole trail. Now this was my last find for the trip.
I was initially searching in the long grass, and there was something there that could match the hint, but not really. Then I read the description which mentioned 'magnetic' - that had me back-tracking to something a bit more ferrous. I felt around, and unfortunately my hand knocked something that rolled under a thistle plant. Found but lost - talk about bitter sweet! So I had to do some careful gardening, and I managed to spot and then rescue the wee bugger. Thanks pukekoh1!

# 1409 Out on dusk today to get my cache of the day. Today i wandered down to a part of town that I have never been to. Got greeted by the friendly chicken too. This one was a quick find in the second place i looked, after some contemplation of where it could be. As usual with these things, it took me longer to wind up the log sheet than it did to get out of the car and walk over and make the find, but thats okay, the cache and log are in great condition so it was easy to replace. From here it was down to another of the CO's puzzles - EXPIRED - to pick up some information. Cheers pukeho1 for my cache of the day! Did anyone notice that the gate isnt even padlocked!
Had me thinking when the GPS indicated up the bank but finally found the cache in the obvious place. Replaced as found.
We returned to the car following a different route to access this cache and one other on the way. This was a quick find using the hint.
Thanks.
Thanks.
#6131. Time to grab a few more caches. Been recovering after the big Mega weekend in Upper Hutt but the caching must go on. A nice cluster of caches in this area so time to clean out the area (he said hopefully - but the multi must wait). Initially thought the cache might be hidden at a different object. So searched there first. But read the hint and that helped me check out the correct hiding spot. Nicely tucked away and all dry. Signed the logbook and replaced as found. Thanks for hiding it here pukeho1.
Had tried this one already but this time it was SO obvious! Can't believe we missed it last time.Tftc
The advantage of caching at night is plenty of time to try all the available options. As usual, this was hiding in the last place I looked. All safe and dry here. TFTC
That's the first nano I've seen for a while Always a relief when you try the coiled roll and it fits inside the lid recess! Especially when you have two thumbs on each hand as I do Thanks for this cache and the series I've still to get the one at the tree recess - pesky thing .
Was after the multi cache which is a bit further down the path for today. After ascertaining the information to hopefully determine the GZ for that cache stopped by this one before getting back in the car. Checked one end first with out any success then the other for a quick find. Logged signed in the comfort of the car before returning. TFTC
Not sure where we went wrong with this one today. Looked all the places we could think of. Will have to come back another time and give it another go.
Out for a nice stroll along the riverside. I took a weird route to this cache but it was part of an overall plan. On arrival the GPS let me a likely candidate hiding place but no cache could be found there. Then it started waving around a bit so I figured I should just look around the area. Time for the hint. After considering several places where the hint made no sense I finally spotted a place where it might. Ran my hand around the object in question and found the cache by touch. A nano?! That had the potential to be exeedingly difficult but surprisingly (and thnakfully) it wasn't. The log was in good shape (with plenty of signing spaces) which made signing it less challenging than these often are.TFTC.
Haven't done a micro in a while, forgot how small they get
(Sorry I think I logged the actual cache as July- I;m a month behind lol)

Out for a walk with Mrs G, picking up a few caches along this stretch of the trail.
An instant find here, just as well because a couple of muggles just came into view as I was replacing the cache.

Nearly muggled by two blackberry pickers, who in turn have motivated me to take the kids out picking this afternoon Nice quick find during a training run around the Hutt River and Pukeariki trails. All good at GZ.
The last of the series! A nice easy find - signed log in spot 8. FP awarded for the series overall.

Megan and I went for a drive this evening to have a look for this one.

Cache # 3,308 - a reasonably quick find on a quiet Sunday afternoon. This has been tempting me for months, but the normal construction on the new interchange has kept me away during the working week. GPS seemed to lead me about 7 metres away from GZ, but as I stood there and looked around only two obvious choices presented themselves. Easy find after that. TNLNSL. TFTC!

A cold drizzly windy day for a MTB ride around the Hutt River Trail to pick up some new caches and some previous DNFs.
A previous DNF but found easily this time around with the cache newly replaced exactly where we thought it should be the first time time we looked.
A previous DNF but found easily this time around with the cache newly replaced exactly where we thought it should be the first time time we looked.
Glad to see this one back in action. My previous attempt at grabbing this had me turning away immediately due to muggles parked right at the spot. My GPS had me up near the road but I expanded my search area and soon found the cache. TFTC
Based on the number of recent DNFs it looks like the cache may no longer be there .......
First stop for the day but no luck finding a cache here. Checked a lot of different places where it could be according to the hint but had to continue without the find.
As pointed out be previous searchers, not too many places it could be but none led to the cache so possibly missing ?
Didn't see too many places to hide a magnetic cache, but couldn't find this one.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Taking a walk down the river bank with the geodog in the hope of finding a few caches. Was not to be with this one though, nothing found under or in. Maybe next time.
#1938 A quick find with wb-jnr on the way home from the doctor. We wrote small and managed to get both names in one space.
Thanks for my cache of the day and keeping my daily streak alive - today is day 165.
All good at GZ - log dry etc. Thanks for the smilie

Find #2483. One of 16 found on a bike ride from Petone to Birchville. More of a nano than a micro but easy to find. SL TFTC
Day #4 geocaching in NZ/ second day of two spent in Wellington + surroundings, in good company (=vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = VVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time). Had a great time and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places.
We used the last space in the log sonow it's full and needs replacing.
Thank you!!!!

Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68 and Katsukka and had great time. We used VVK Fin (that is vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.

Two days Wellington trip with Vipema and Katsukka. Many nice views and caches. We logged mostly only VVK-FIN to save space in the logbook. Greetings from Finland!
Thanks

Quick and easy find. Co-ords quite a way out for most of the series. Took Everst and Dante along for a walk with both the Fairy Half and Mycro Man. Thanks for the cache.
Parked at the end of Benmore Cres so nice and close to this cache. Had some trouble with the co-ords but started looking at a likely object and soon had the cache in hand. Tftc
Thanks for series of caches on the cycleway, was well worth the ride to collect them all. TFTC
Great day for a bike ride along the river bank. Hadn't been this way before so thanks for the cache-trail. An easy quick find which allowed me a quick start to the ride. TFTC Pukeho1
The coordinates were a little bit out but the description certainly narrows down the choices. TFTC
Found on a bike ride from Sladden Park. The bike trail ends here but you do not have to turn around yet. If you are coming from the south I recommend continuing on to "Creekside Misery" in Manor Park. It's an unfortunate name but the misery is about playing golf and you have a much better hobby. The potholes in Benmore Cres are easily avoided (only one is more than a foot deep ).
A nice quick find by TrinaSian. The first on today's walk. Tweezers definitely needed to extract the log. TFTC!
Find No.1 out with BigcheeseNZ on nice Sunday walk. Quick find - go the tweezers!!!! TFTC
Found in the obvious place this time, seems from the previous logs that it had been dislodged at some stage so was probably absent on my last visit.
But signing the log was another story, the logsheet was so tightly wedged in that I couldn't dislodge it with tweezers- had to give up trying as my attempts were resulting in damage to the logsheet, So I penned my initials on the exposed part of the log so I could prove I had been there!

I was quite surprised that today's very unfriendly weather gave way to a very pleasant evening today, so a great opportunity for a impromptu bit of exercise pushing the pedals along the Hutt River trail. Not a good start at this one until I read the description, my GPSr was pointing slightly away.
Many thanks for the cache pukeho1 [^]

Saturday caching. Knocking off a few on the river trail. Cycling visit.
Straightforward find on this one. Dodging a few muggles.
Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
Enjoying this series of caches that have created reasons for visiting this attractive part of the city.
This was the turnaround point for us. We pedalled back to Fairfield Bridge rather than dodge traffic on SH2. A bit of a shortcoming in the river trail network. From Fairfield we headed north up the easter side to do the Stokes Valley to Silverstream caches.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

I had no trouble finding this cache. As I often find with these types, I spent considerably more time at the cache site putting things back together than I did looking for the cache.
Found on a lovely cycle ride up to Harcourt Park for a barbeque lunch. A great autumn day. TFTC

A quick find, the first of 4 on a walk along here this afternoon. The coordinates were a little out but given the cache type there was only a limited number of places it could be. Signed log, TFTC
Nice quick find, after having some comms with CO, and hearing that the cache container had been found and re-positioned after becoming separated from it's hide.
