Second time back to this spot. Still no luck in finding the cache, lots of muggles out today.
I picked this cache up at 11:24am. I took a little stroll and picked up the first few caches in this series today.
I was in the area to pick up the odd cache nominated for the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards, and stopped to pick up a few extras as well.
Thanks for the cache BallaratGeocachers.

Sadly we did not have enough time to pick up all the caches in this series today. As we are travelling and are vehicle based, it was interesting sometimes finding somewhere to park. We managed to find most of the series and had some fun along the way. Thank you to BallaratGeocachers for placing and maintaining the caches.
Completed today with FerociousFlea.

**Find #: 4995**
**Time: 12:54 pm**
**Date: Sun 18 Dec 2016**
A very early start had me in Ballarat before 8am for the McLooker's breakfast event, and then afterwards I spent a few hours randomly gathering a few finds before heading home.
I was looking for something else, but eventually found this one tucked away.

Nice cache. Easy to find if you just watch to the right place. To day I was lucky. Tftc
Collected this on a nice quiet uni holiday after attending a workshop in the Uni Library. Find 1318 at 27 September 2016 5:41 PM

A trip to Ballarat, to try and tidy up a few errant caches to the east, turned out to be a freezing and somewhat frustrating day. Back in September last year we commenced the Symbol Series, today we parked near the semi colon and rode towards the city centre as far as the tilde, which sits over the back slash on the keyboard a little qwerty as this is where we turned back!
Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres south of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to BallaratGeocachers for managing this series.

Day out in Ballarat with GeoSon #1, who was told to take a day off school because the rest of his year level was at camp. Find #10 for the day. Thanks heaps, BallaratGeocachers!
Have driven past many times and finally passed by when there were no muggles. Quick easy find. Wasn't where I had expected whilst driving by. TFTC
We couldn't let the whole month go by without a find so we squeezed one in right at the last. A lovely afternoon to be out and about. Shame we could not do more. Thanks BallaratGeocachers.
sitting at the computer going through our caching notes and noticed we are weeks behind on logging our finds so here goes a few hours at the keyboard....
got time off work so been taking out our grand kids so we were able to grab at least one cache each day they are with us....today it was a day trip to Ballarat, an inflatable dingy and oars for a caching adventure around lake wendoree. Geo grand daughter loved the fact that grandpa did all the rowing, she recently got her own account (Cucumber Kid) but is still basic so she has to wait for premium membership to log a lot of finds...

1:23:00 PM. Back to finish this series that we started a few weeks ago. Found and took us longer to extract the log than sign it. Even with tools with us it wasn't easy. Thanks BallaratGeocachers for placing this cache.
One of our targets for this visit to the Ballarat area was the Symbol Series. Despite accurate coordinates it took a few minutes to locate this cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks BallaratGeocachers for the cache and the series.
Found on a caching trip to Ballarat with Freddo and Team Waldron, after finishing the BSRT trail we decided to drive around and grab a few more caches, our % of DNFs were <1% TFTC
Heading over to Ballarat for a caching weekend and picking up a few caches on the way.
We managed to find about 230 caches in 3 days not bad work for 3 old guys
Another series of caches in Ballarat that boosted the numbers.
We weren't sure how we would be able to get to these but we mangaged most by car with just a couple of shortish walks.
Thanks for an excellent series.

A trip down to Ballarat, and after we had completed what we had do do, including a bit of shopping, we decided to tackle the Symbol Series. We done it on foot starting at Mount Clear and enjoyed the walk along this path finding caches as went. Most of the finds on our journey were quick and easy and were a variation of hides.

Day 2 camped at Creswick with Alansee and Team Crackers, we headed out to grab some caches.
We found a mixture of bike trails, walks and drive by's, which made a fun day.
Most caches were found after a short search, some a little trickier.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, BallaratGeocachers, for us and others to find.

Out on the bike for a morning ride. I've been so slack lately that it was hard work. Hoepfully this will be the first of many rides, and I'll go a bit further.
Nice and quick.
This was find 2 of 5 finds for today, being found at 9:38:00 AM.

We are on a road trip to attend "The Melbourne Event" Mega, taking our time to get there and on the return journey. Fortunately, there were lots of caches along the way to tempt us to stop for a while to smell the roses. This was one of those caches.
We had made our way to Ballarat to attend the GIFF Event and to spend a few days in the area before heading off to Melbourne. We decided we would complete this series of caches while in the area. All were found with little difficulty and we managed to collect all the clues required for the final puzzle.
Thank you BallaratGeocachers for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy

Up and at 'em on our second day in Ballarat for the Cup weekend. We only had four more to do in this series before going for the final, and needed one more number for the coords. This cache was very fun for a shortarse like me. My son helped, and was thrilled to make the find. Thanks BallaratGeocachers.
We are visiting from other side of Melbourne with Vanessa&Aodh (we met through caching) and stayed nearby overnight visit for some dedicated caching time). The weather has turned into a beautiful day instead of the drizzle of yesterday. We have 3 kids between 5-7yo and had the Priscilla sound track blaring. Did some the Challenge caches before heading back to finish this Symbol Series and and then going to do some more Challenge Puzzle caches. Watched as Vanessa&Aodh reached for the skies on this one. This was one location where I was glad that today was a public holiday as it might be difficult at times. Spotting the container straight away, it was a matter of taking a phone call and waiting for the all clear.
Thanks for the cache.

Out on a lovely sunny day caching with Stashaa. A great series along the trail. TFTC BallaratGeocachers.
Blimey glad my hair is attached how windy. Out and about with sean75 and Kenare on a trek to get some smiles tftc
I was in Ballarat on a cold, wet day and decided to do this series, which I managed to complete, including the Final Puzzle. Without the cover of trees and cars stopping at the lights, I waited for the right time before my swift hand went in for the grab. Then I had to put it back. TFTC Ballarat Geocachers.
Found with Mi5sie as we enjoyed the walk and geokids eagerly hunted for caches, at times it was fun to beat them to it, lol, TFTC
Found with Cherad. While we were in the area and having to fill in time, we decided to do a few more of this series. We quickly found, signed the log and replaced the cache before heading to the next. TFTC
Found with The 2 Wanderers on a day of caching. This was their 2,000th find. How lucky am I? I was with them for their 1,000th also. I wonder where number 3,000 will be for them? Will I be with them? TFTC
Found today with Misschief18. This is our 2000th find, we're all smiles now. It's been a good trail to do this milestone on. Thanks for sharing this Milestone with us Robyn. You also shared our 1000th find with us, now for the next one.

This one was really sneaky, I saw it from one angle. This was a different type of cache to the others that we found. Found while out walking with McLookers this morning.
Well, this was a very tricky cache to spot. Tomstache had the eagle eye and I was able to make the grab. Thanks Shamus1.
Nice quick find on the trail today. Beware of muggles though, been waiting 10 minutes to retrieve and sign tftc and onto the next symbol

I like Karena could not locate this guy and it was the only DNF out of thirty eight caches today. I will return.
Searched but had no luck here today. Will be back to get it along with the final.

Came down with Alchey today to attend Beckworth event.
Great weather, great day, snagged a heap of caches, including this series. We did this at times when was a little drizzly, however was bearable when on the move! Did a series of park and grabs the whole way with only 1 DNF - also didn't get the series final.
Most finds were found pretty quickly however some more tricky than others. Thanks for taking me through a nice part of Ballarat with a good series of caches!

Suscoe was in Ballarat today doing a spot of caching and now late in the day Mr. and Mrs. S. were on the trail of the Symbol Series.
We started at the northern end and worked our way south bound.
Find number 5.
A bit of creative parking and navigating got us to all the traditional locations before we had arrived at the time to depart for Geelong and tea.
Well done to Shamus1 for placing these caches along this walking/riding trail.
All was pretty quiet this afternoon.
Sorry about the generic log but we found all caches to be in good condition and the sun shone with late afternoon strength, the birds were singing and a few folks were out walking and riding along the track.
